We had visited this place many times. North Indian food is good here. My recommendation are Papad aloo roll which is superb and tasty , tandoor platter . We order the paneer kadai , veg kolhapuri and in breads Cheese naan
Must try : Cheese Naan , Papad aloo roll , Cold coffee & blossom shakes which you can't get anywhere in Madurai and it's best .

Its roof top restaurant is a must go. After 4pm, u can start to have high tea and see the temple. At night, its very chill and cool. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Price is also good for budget travelers.

One of the best dosas I have ever had. The Chinese style food was good too. Great view of the temple on the roof top. Also serves beer.
We arrived here at 5pm to see the sunset. The food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The City was quiet noisy and here you can take a short rest. I have never seen a temple skyline before.
Good place for evening time around sunset. Mefium prices, tasty tea masala.

Amazing place to witness the beauty of Meenakshi temple... They serve beer too, also they have separate smoking zone at the 7th floor, which is added advantage.

Had a superb Masala Dosa, beautifully crisp. Staff are attentive. Fantastic view of the city, a good romantic spot I would say. Can see Meenakshi Towers illuminated. A great place to escape the throbbing hum of Madurai!
It's a veg restaurant with south, North, Chinese and continental cuisine from 4 to 11 pm. A bit spicy menu and takes a long time to serve but Tastes good. Mosquito bites are complimentary. It feels hot, maybe also due to heat from traffic.

I went for the view and the opportunity to take a nighttime shot of the temple, but my first bite of aloo mutter with cheese-garlic naan was to die for! Delicious! Full service and they take credit cards.
