Very famous place for pure non veg items . Heard abt this place for years but recently got a chance to go . Located in main road and we went in ground floor seating area . Ordered mutton Nalli chops with idli , mutton Kari dosa mutton Nalli chops was very soft and tender with superb taste . Kari dosa was stomach filling one . More mutton chunks was there in dosa . Nominal rate and decent service . No vegetarian options .

The food tasted good and we had a good lunch but many dishes were not available. The service person was good and polite and the place was clean.

Had kari dosa and briyani, as expected briyani was not up to the mark. But the Kari Dosa was superb🤌🤌. Didn't expect the taste of it. Need to try this dish if u visit here.

Going to this restaurant after 8 years - still they maintain the same quality and taste. One kari dosa will fill your tummy and more than sufficient for the night. Highly recommend for outside people coming to Madurai for food Recommend only mutton varieties

I had mutton kari dosai as well as mutton kothu porotta which was ok but was way to pricey. I had the same back in Thiruvananthapuram but that was way more delicious by a great margin. Mutton shukka was also good but not great. Along with idiyappam it was good. Only down side was it took ages for them to make and serve each dish. Podi idli was good.

Other than atmosphere everything is good. It was very tiny place. I tried chicken curry dosa, it was awesome. Must try. One dosa is enough per pets. I also tried the same dosa in kumar mess madurai. But konar mess curry dosa is best. ***Caution*** there is another kadai in same row with same name. Go to correct restraunt.

A must try place!! An authentic South Indian non veg restaurant. We tasted almost all main starters, which was flavourful and delicious. Especially mutton chukka, mutton omelette and ayirai fish gravy was awesome.. Food will be reasonable to cost. Lighting will be good.. Much crowded on weekends.. Need to wait and get seats.. Security will somehow arrange car parking on road side..

Went there for the famous kari dosa since it was not available for lunch had the parota, mutton chukka, chicken chettinad and biryani and it was sooooooo good! Absolutely recommend ✨ a great food experience in Madurai.

A very old establishment famed for mutton dishes. The mutton Kari dosa is an experience, quite filling. Seating area is basic, servers are quite busy. Chicken biriyani is another item you can check out. Rates higher than expected. Parking would be troublesome in front, you can walk up after parking some distance away.
