Review Banyan Restaurant - Madurai

Heritage Madurai Resort, where Banyan Restaurant is there is awesome. Though Staff was friendly, cooperative, helpful and good, but because less availability of North Indian food I gave 3 Stars. Buffet dinner was finished at 1000 p.m. against the time of 1030 p.m. and the staff was reluctant in serving the food.

Such a good restaurant. Vibe of this place is very nice. My family enjoyed very well.

Very nice place to hang out with family in Madurai.. restaurant price were much reasonable when compared to other posh restaurants... Very good ambience.. the dishes were good too.. good authentic South Indian taste.. definitely recommend them!!

Nice restaurant... relaxing place...will have great time with our loved ones ..heritage their motto!!in the entrance,people in reception said vanakkam, it looks awesome...in part of food-too costly, don't try briyani it Will cheat you, other foods are nice....must try stuffed mushrooms worth to eat and yummy too🍽️🍄🥘...the foto of the interior of the restaurant I have added, it looks amazing and neat.

We had buffet dinner and breakfast during our stay in Madurai Heritage. There is a wide range of food from many different parts of the world, and extras on special orders if you need. Mix of western and traditional Indian dishes. Service and environment were top notch.View from this restaurant is serene and green.The staff were friendly and helpful. This restaurent is open not only for people who stays at Heritage but Dine-in facility is also available. Should try dum parotta and chatti choru from here.

Went for dinner buffet. Special arrangements have been made for valentine's day. Ambience was very pleasing and food was tasty.

Went for lunch with friends. We went a bit early so we walked around the place and it was amazing. The huge banyan tree next to the restaurant is so huge and so imposing. The atmosphere is so mind soothing and doesn't feel like you are in Madurai. Their swimming pool is made so artistically. Everywhere around you will see antique articles infused with the hotel decor. Restaurant interiors are nice. We were greeted well and shown our table. They.took our orders and then took almost 40 minutes to serve, had to remind the bearer and then they served. The fried rice.was.almost cold and requested to reheat to which they obliged immediately. Except for the delay and food not being hot, everything else was great. Taste was good and quantity was more than enough. Restaurant was occupied only by guests staying there and we were the only PPL from outside. If you wish to experience a different ambiance, this is the place to go.

Enjoyed the buffet breakfast here! With freshly made dosa on order and specialities like Kerala Bonda and Semiya Kesari, you can't go wrong here!

place to enjoy the ambience.. forget the food/taste. Nothing unique.. u can taste a better version of same foods in other parts of Madurai.. the management can think about adding continental foods
