Food taste wise is OK..and pricey as per Madurai standards..good for family outing...sufficient parking place..located close to bus station..and inside a star Hotel..so.ambience is good..if its solo traveler..looking for Time pass ..they even have a good spa..in same hotel..
Checked in to matuthavani anjappar for dinner on Nov 26. Ordered milagu soup, muru muru chicken, butter naan, spl anjappar chicken masala and butter naan.
Muru muru chicken was similar to KFC fried chicken. I was expecting it similar to thalapakatti poricha chicken, but it wasn't. I will not recommend this dish. Rest of the items were not signatory, but good.
For desserts, I ordered pomegranate juice, lemon soda and mint lime. Pomegranate juice was too watery and will not recommend.
Worst experience was in the parking. The security was not assertive enough. When another car was getting reversed, it bumped into the side of my car and led to scratches and dent.
Good restaurant serving a wide range of South Indian delicacies. Good ambience and service. Good even for families, kids, and large groups. Taste is really good. Prices are on the higher side, but worth the taste. Biryani quantity is insufficient for a hungry adult. But it's the same in any restaurant in Madurai
One of my favorite hotel in madurai, an authentic chettinad type food hotel for non veg lovers especially for a tasty meals and biriyani.
They serves lovely chicken, ,mutton, fish, prawns and crab starters along with soup varieties.
It's located near madurai busstand with bar in the basement. Beautiful amenities also they have a huge parking in ground and basement. Would strongly recommend for non veg lovers and drinks with authentic chettinad food 😋

Decent Restaurant as always.. neat ambience to dine in with friends or family. Taste and quantity is worthy..

I always love this restaurant. While i work in Madurai used to dine here frequently. Now after 7 years today i went to the restaurant and the taste remains the same. It's nice place to dine together with family and friends. Will get good service too..
Food Taste is good and service is appreciatable. Cost is high. Good place to have food with friends and family. It can accommodate ~30 people at a time. Rest room and wash rooms are maintained properly and are clean. Varieties of food items vast compared with other restaurants. All the payments options are available. Parking facility is good. Few statues are there in the entrance to take pics along with. Good experience.
It was a very good experience. We arrived at the restaurant only around 10 pm. Even though they served us with full enthusiasm. They served till 11 pm with a smiling face. The taste is delicious. But non veg items such as crab lolipop, fish fingers are not so fresh. An abnormal smell was there. The ambience is near and good. No prevention measures taken for mosquito 🦟. We did have small children who suffered a lot 😞. The cost is moderate. They provided a high car for my nephew. It was really appreciated. Nan is soft and fluffy. Mouth watering paneer butter masala. Customer service is very good.
