Staying here, have tried the amazing complementary breakfast spread , there’s so much to choose from and not just that, the quality of the food served, the service is absolutely top notch!!!
I stayed at the hotel and had all my meals here. Food is very tasty and the people very courteous. I enjoyed the breakfast spread. The live counters are very good. Lunch buffet had variety and a good distribution of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Dinner the Chef put up a demo of cooking. It was very enjoyable.
We had school reunion here. Food, ambience, hospitality is too good. Beautiful view of Madurai City. Peacock 🦚 every where and century old Banyan tree makes this place vibe
Located on the top of Pasumalai hills, as a part of Taj's Gateway Hotel, this restaurant has an incredibally beautiful location. A beautiful garden in front provides a magnificent view of Madurai city, including the great Meenakshi temple. We had our breakfast and all meals during our two days stay in the Gateway hotel. Beautiful ambiance with old world charm decor, extremely courteous service with smile, and good food, including some delicious local dishes.
We were lucky to watch beautiful dance performances of peacocks in the garden.... more than once... it was an added bonus.

We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool, indoor and outdoor games are available. There are many peacocks , delight to watch. Definitely recomend this.
This restaurant is within the Taj Gateway Hotel. The main benefit of eating here is being at the top of a hill, in a quiet garden surrounded by trees with a panoramic view of the city of Madurai, including the Meenakshi temple in the distance. It is a lovely dining room with outdoor seating with great views.
