Bagicha Corner Mahabaleshwar Review:
I recently visited Bagicha Corner in Mahabaleshwar as part of the Taxi Association's Tour 2 package, and I have some thoughts to share about the experience.
Firstly, Bagicha Corner is conveniently included in the Taxi Association's package tour, making it easily accessible for tourists exploring the beautiful hill station of Mahabaleshwar. The location is also on the way to Kate's Point, which adds to its accessibility and convenience.
One of the standout features of Bagicha Corner is its own strawberry farm, from which they source fresh strawberries during the strawberry season. This is a unique and charming aspect of the visit, allowing you to witness the source of the delectable fruit. However, I must mention that when I visited during the off-season, they prepared strawberry items using frozen strawberries. While this was acceptable in terms of quantity and quality, it did not leave a lasting impression. The taste, unfortunately, did not match the fresh and vibrant flavors of in-season strawberries, so it's not something I would highly recommend during the off-season.
One aspect that might deter some visitors is the pricing. At Rs. 180 for a single glass of strawberry with cream, Bagicha Corner is undeniably on the pricier side. While the location and experience add value, the taste didn't quite live up to the cost, making it feel a bit overpriced. The strawberry with cream was pleasant, but it didn't deliver the extraordinary taste that would justify the high price tag.
In summary, Bagicha Corner in Mahabaleshwar offers a unique experience, especially during the strawberry season when they source strawberries from their own farm. However, during the off-season, the use of frozen strawberries results in items that are just okay in terms of quantity and quality. Additionally, the high prices might leave you wanting more in terms of taste. While it's a convenient stop along the way to Kate's Point, I would suggest exploring other local options for a more satisfying strawberry treat at a reasonable price.
Bagicha is one of the famous places to get your strawberry fresh cream.
It also offers you with other quick bites option like sandwiches, frankie, etc.
It also has a few options to fill your stomach like pithla bhakari.
But ofcourse the best of the lot is Strawberry with Cream.
In case you like chocolate, and you are 3-4 people, then you can also go for Chocolate Bomb.
It has its own farm outside.
There are plants for sale (nursery) though very little options as that's not the main business.
There amis also a bird cage for some fun.
The washroom are clean and there is a prayer room available as well.
Went twice during our 3 days stay. Corn Pattice and Sitafal with cream were on what we gorged and splurged on. Prices... little on the higher side...but then you are on vacation in a tourist place ..Can't help it
