If you are in mandrem area of Goa, Kal's Cafe visit is highly recommend. Top notch ambience and the staff is super respectful. Lot of food options across various cuisines. Lovely and lively atmosphere that just sets the mood right. And evenings are just good. We ordered cheese garlic naans and are left speechless. They are just too yummy. We were skeptical about veg food coz it's Goa and are surprised that they didn't disappoint us. We ordered mix veg Curry, dal and palak paneer and they are cooked to perfection. Not too much oil and not too spicy. We stayed at mandrem and all the 4 days we ended up eating and having a great time at Kals. Super highly recommended.
Recently when we were in Goa, a friend suggested to visit Kals Cafe at Mandrem and we loved the place.
The vibes here are so pleasant, soothing music, felt super cozy and Kals is probably the best host so far we came across in Goa.
Food is great and the best part is they customize it as we want which most of the cafes in Goa don't.
We loved the butter garlic fish and butter garlic praws.

Hidden Place in Mandrem which serves quality food. Music, drinks, perfectly cooked sea food and awesome cappuccino with the warm host. People there, are too good and helpful in nature. We were god damn lucky that our place is just few steps next to this amazing cafe. If you're in goa you must visit this place.

One of my friend recommended Kal's Cafe behind Mandrem Market during my trip to Goa this past weekend. My review of the place : 1. Mornings are very pleasant and lovely. The soothing music, the taste of the coffee and breakfast, it was clear that these guys did not compromise on the quality of the food and the material. Even the honey was fresh and extracted right in front of us. Their Tandoor Fish - EPIC. Tasted Tandoor Fish before but the taste here is just mind blowing.
2. Music and Surroundings - If mornings were pleasant, evenings are magical. Coupled with the choice of music they play, evenings are beyond words.
3. Damage on the wallet - For the quality of food and the premium ingredients and organic veggies they use, surprisingly, the prices are almost same as other restaurants. They Just started it but are already ruling the evenings.
Kal's Cafe is a special quaint little place, the kinds that you feel cared for and pampered at. The staff is friendly and concerned about all your needs. And Personally it felt like a home away from home. Get there guys, as soon as your wheels are up.
Been to Kals cafe by accident during my recent trip to India. These guys are quite new but their food and place rocks. Very pleasant and lovely setting coupled with some cool numbers they play. Evenings - they rule like a boss with the food, drinks and some mind blowing numbers. The hosts Kalyan and Alison are rockstars and the time spent at their place made us addicted to their cafe. Their pastas are the best i ever tasted and so is their seafood. Definitely going to visit them again during my next trip to India. Love you guys. You guys made our vacation enjoyable with your lovely and fresh food, music and the lights that lit up the moods. So peaceful and so pleasant.

Awesome place. Lovely ambience and amazing staff. Food is very healthy and perfectly cooked .They play some amazing groovy numbers and old school rock. Very highly recommended.
Went on weekend for lunch to Kal's Cafe. In starter,we ordered Tangdi Kebab, Prawns tandoor, Kingfish tandoor and Lazeez Murgh Angaar. Every food items was awesome and had really unique taste. We loved all the dishes !!!
Then we ordered Murgh Mussallam ...again it was yummillicious !!!

Amazing food, fresh and delicious. Both breakfast and dinner recommended. Personal fave: naan bread with garlic, cheese and chili topping. Owners very friendly and perfect hosts.
