The breakfast was very good and the service great. Tried many breakfast dishes and all were tasty. The coffee needs to be worked on. The ghee dosa was a bit too thick for a Bangalorean's liking.

One of the oldest restaurants of Mangalore, Known for breakfast and evening snacks. It's an old building with AC . Service is good and quick. Tuppa Dose (Ghee Dose), Goli baje, Mangalore Buns - Recommended. Their Strong tea/ Coffee is also good. They also have sweets. Banana Halwa is recommended.
The name is a legacy in local cuisine and it still holds its own. The Rotti+Bhaji and the Tuppa Dosa are a must-try for their distinctive tastes. The filter coffee is certified addictive which many long-timers can vouch for. A variety of breakfast options to suit all tastes .
Idily with sambar were good. Vada tasted average. We ordered Veg pulao but it was very less quantity and more costly. Masala dosa also good. For 6 person we spent nearly 700/-.
