I have tried both Chicken lasagne and Chicken Alfredo, and ohhhhhh myyyyyyy godddd. 🥺 It had been so long I had such good Italian food, every bite of the pasta was beautiful. Chicken lasagne, took me to a whole new level, because it was that good. Every bite was a tour for my tongue, absolutely delicious.
And the best part about Aurfila, would be the quantity of food they give.
It is quite heavy for one, but two small stomachs can definitely finish one dish easily.
The pasta dishes are definitely worth the price.
On another occasion, I had ordered a chicken burger, which was okay.
But these pasta items are to die for in Aurfila. 🥺💖

Love this place for its salads.. they are healthy and filling as well. I’d suggest to add more salad options to the menu as I’m bored of eating the same salad. I’ve tried all of them ..

Aurfila is one of the finest continental restaurant in Mangalore. It is present at the heart of Mangalore, it's ambience is pretty and cosy with dim lightings, perfect for couples. The food is authentic, with the most perfect serving. They quality and quantity is really good and gets all my appreciation. The food was really delicious and calls for a must visit when in Mangalore.

I think it's a great place to have continental food. The place is compact and cute with good lightings. The description on the menu has light humour which I loved and appreciate. Bit heavy on the pocket, but the food is nice. Recommend the vegetarians to try out Quesadilla and Moroccan Cheesy Cottage Steak.

Place has great food. Must tries are the regular biriyanis , Noodles and their burgers. I tried the Margarita Pizza. It was good. Regular Indian dishes are also great. The hotel has an AMAZING ambience. Loved the experience.

I had ordered BBQ chicken steak with mashed potatoes and veggies and it was too good. The steak was cooked to perfection along with the Bbq sauce in the right places I can say, but I love my steak with huge amount of mashed potatoes and less veggies. Also, I would highly recommend this one. Worth every penny spent :)

I visited Aurfila with my wife and baby daughter for lunch. We were led to a dining area upstairs. The ambiance was quite cosy, and the thoughtful decor made up for the rather small dining area. It's not really an infant-friendly place as they don't have a high-chair or a cradle, so the wife had to make the baby sleep on her lap while having the food.

We were welcomed with a complementary tiny plate of assorted French fries and baked potato wedges. The waiter was quite friendly and ready to clarify any doubts about any of the dishes. Though I think they can do better to learn more about the minute details of the dishes served. Me being on a low-carb diet, I had to send the guy running to the kitchen twice, to clarify what were the accompanying vegetables with a couple of the dishes.

For starters, we ordered Grilled Chicken Salad and Cilantro Lamb. The chicken salad was quite good, but it was tossed in a red sauce, when I was expecting a mayo-based one and I hadn't bothered to clarify before ordering. My bad. So the expectation-reality mismatch dampened my enthusiasm for the dish, but my wife quite enjoyed it.

The Cilantro Lamb on the other hand was perfect and we polished off the plate in no time. If you're a carnivore as much as I'm, it's not every day you get to relish the meaty flavour in a city where most restaurants like to disguise it with an overload of spices and masalas.

The one dish I was quite excited to try out - being on a keto diet - was the No Bun Chicken Burger. And it turned out to be quite yum! It came arranged as a perfect deck of chicken breast patties, sliced cheese, tomatoes and cucumber with a side of French fries (which I reluctantly, but smartly pushed towards my wife) and iceberg lettuce. Though I wondered why they couldn't have used lettuce instead of the buns as a wrap, considering they already serve a large uncut lettuce leaf as a side. So I promptly slapped the lettuce on top and below the deck. And that's how I ended up eating it, like a proper burger rather than with a knife and fork as they intended it.

The only disappointing dish of the day turned out to be the Spaghetti Bolognese, which my wife ordered (Fittingly, we forgot to get a pic of it also). It was beautifully presented, with a generous portion size and sprinkled on top with cheese. The spaghetti was perfect and there was ample minced meat in between the pasta, but the sauce itself turned out to be too sweet. I don't know whether they went overboard with the tomatoes or if they added more sugar than what they intended, but it was quite on the sweeter side especially for the Indian palate. There is a lot of wisdom in slightly adapting authentic continental food to the local palate, and I hope they fix it. If it could have a subtle chilli hit, it would be perfect. We packed this dish, but it still tasted great the next day, after my mom-in-law tweaked it with a bit of her jugaad.

For dessert, my wife ordered a Tiramisu which tasted good, if not spectacular. Brownie points (no pun intended) for the overall lightness of the dish and the perfect sponge. I would've liked to order one of their Coke-based mocktails, but they didn't have any diet Coke. Hopefully, you guys will stock it up next time.

I intend to visit this restaurant in the future. Hopefully on a cheat meal day, when I don't have to worry about the damn carbs.

A very fabulous place for having Continental dishes in Mangalore. Ambience is sooth and relaxing. A good place for friends and family to enjoy the calmness and have great food. Food tastes lovely 👌😋. I do recommend the portion size to be little more with regard to the price paid. There is no crowd at the restaurant due to lesser popularity. Food is served with minimum preparation time. I have visited twice and many more to come.

Best continental food in town !! Their steaks are the best . My personal recommendation would be moroccan cheesy cotttage steak . The No Bun burger is their specialty. Mushroom caps are good . The ambience is lit . Very beautiful with the lightings . Nice place for couples and friends to spend quality time.

Small place, good for small groups. Tried out sizzler, streak and thai curry, food was tasty and portion each was good enough for one person, however thai curry took really long to be ready. We were provided a decent discount and we'll, not sure if it was due to the delay thai curry caused. Mocktail Berry crush was worth mentioning, do try it out. Would recommend this place if you like continental and looking for a quiet place to dine with family or friends.

The ambience is amazing and so is the food. The place is not visible from the road very clearly. Just ask around in case you can't spot it. The price range is quiet okay.
