Small place prefer taking parcel.. cheaper compared to other similar places. chicken shawarma was good would like to visit again and try out other items.
Very good food 🍴🍕🍔the taste is so good especially the Rotisseri. On rating of food I give them 5 ⭐ but overall one ⭐less because they don't have paytm or pay on 💳 facility.

This Place Was Indeed A Life Saviour For Us On 31st Dec 2018 , Earlier We Had Taken Parcel From Hotel Quality ( Kudla Restaurant ) Since The Food At That Hotel Was VERY VERY BAD We Came To This "Pop Tate's" & Took Grill Chicken & Kababs, We Were Very Lucky Enough To Get The Juiciest & Tender Grill Chicken With Wonderful Thick Creamy Mayonnaise Sauce & Very Flavourful Kabab Which Was Perfectly Fried In Oil . This Hotel Helped Us To End The Year 2018 On A Wonderful Note. Thanks "Hotel Pop Tate's" For Making This Trip To Mangalore A Memorable One
Chicken Shawarma & more importantly their Grilled Chicken are 2 of my favs there. I like that chicken meat remains moist when they grill it to perfection unlike the dry meat of a Tandoori method. Shawarma could be slightly bigger but frankly no complaints. Great place for an affordable snack/dinner..!!!

Pop tates serves Chicken grills served with a very unique masala that really stands out. Do try them and don't forget to ask for their Garlic paste.

Very affordable food. Nice grilled chicken and shawarma. Very busy during evening. Parking will be an issue.
Grilled chicken/Shawai is the signature item here. It is very tasty and the pricing is also quite good. The place is little bit crowded and the service also quite average. They close at 11 pm as per their time schedule. But I didn't get any food when I reached here once around 10 pm.

Tried the Shawai once again and it was pretty average. Disappointed.
The full meat shawarma and grill rotisserie are the best here- no competition for the latter. If u go after 8.30, there will be huge rush, pls plan well and go to avoid delays. The biryani is also good here. There is no family option, u can park the car nearby and have it hot instead of take away, losses all the taste and richness.

This place is iconic to mangalore. Serves the best rotisserie chicken. This place has been open for decades. Also i hidden gem in the place is the boneless chilly chicken 🩵😋
Would recommend this spot. A bit congested and would always be over crowded. Wouldn’t be the safest place to sit and eat in the current scenario. The chicken is tender and small. I loved their onion side which goes well with the kubbus(bread) that they provide. Bread and mayo would need to be purchased separately. A must place to visit if you’re nearby. The masala they put on the chicken is what makes it yum!
One of the best grilled chicken with kubus, seating area not too comfortable, but when compared to Food nothing else about the seating area would come into your mind.
