One good place if you want to have some healthy homemade Rotis. The story of the lady of Halli Mane Rottie is just fantastic and mind blowing. She is an inspiration to many women.

All these are the ones I recommend to have when you are here.
Though Small Eateries, however excellent taste. We have ordered chicken gravy (Roasted & Masala) including Rotis (Akki, Jowar & Raagi). Kids also enjoyed very much including us đ. Would recommend to visit & have it there itself instead of on the go (packed & delivered). Taste is way better when having it there itself. Options of Juice is also there. We tried both Cocum and KhushKhush. All of us including kids like Cocum đ, however recommending both đ.
Good place. Now rotis are prepared and brought from home due to restrictions from authorities. No cooking allowed there. Still the rotis were soft. Green and leg curry awesome.
A treat for your taste buds! Superb tasty north Karnataka food you get. Jowar Rotti, Akki Rotti and Ragi Rotti you get here are made in front of you. Tomato omlate is must try!

Just love how they serve jola rotti and akki rotti, apart from this their veg pulao was really tasty!
One must taste their tomato omelette, it doesnât have any egg, but tastes the best! Their chutney is really spicy, so if you donât like spicy stuff, itâs better you take a bit, otherwise itâs really yummy.
This is one of the few places in mangalore that serves thatte idli, which is very tasty too.
It is a road side stall, but you neednât worry about the cleanliness, itâs very clean, and the staff is very hygienic.
For two people with a way over average appetite, the bill usually doesnât cross âč200, you can fill your tummy at a very pocket friendly rate.
Hallimane roti is famous for their akki roti nd chicken curry. One small road side food truck which serves tasty local dishes only at evening. The menu is very limited here. Donne biriyani is also available here..
You hav to collect food from the truck counter and sit on the chairs provided and eat. No table available. Since there's no proper building, no washrooms available.
To reach there, you can get down at Lalbagh bus stop and take a rickshaw... Or walk down 1kms..
Overall a nice place to have some indigenous delicacies on a nice evening

Very tasty food. I bought Akki roti and Ragi roti with Chicken roast curry. Super yummy it was... But I could not meet Shilpa. Could meet her brother. Hoping to meet her when I go there next time...:)
Loved their jola roti, raggi roti, Akki roti with veg curry and spicy chutney, tomato omelette is A difinete try. They have rice items too. Not much fan of their chicken dishes though. But name is perfectly justified.. "Haali Mane Rotties"
