Perfect spot for a quick breakfast or evening snack. A must for South Indian food lovers. Their dosas are particularly great. Do try the Mysore masala dosa with a filter coffee.
The food, over the years has been the same. Or maybe better. Don’t expect good ambience or excellent service. It’s a daily Indian fast food joint and not a fine dining restaurant.

Their masala dosa is long and crispy served with chutney and sambar which are really tasty and blends perfectly with masala dosa
2. Poori bhaaji
Their poori is big and round... Like real authentic type.. U feel that hot air coming out of the poori when u tear it.. Flour is perfectly managed its not thick.
3. Buns
Wowww buns 💓.. My favorite restaurant for buns... I get my desired type of buns only here.. I used to not get satisfied with the buns which they served in other restaurants.. But when i thought of trying here.. I was so happy.. This was the buns i was searching for..
4. Pulav (lunch)
If u are here in lunch time... You will see 95% of the customers ordering Pulav. The Pulav and raita u get here is really satisfying and stomach filling.. The rice quality is really good and the veggies they add is perfectly balanced..
Deduction of 1 star for bad service and staff. I feel like staff are just doing it for name sake with expressionless face. And no discipline in taking the orders.
You get amazing South Indian dishes here. They have pretty fast service and pocket friendly too. It's one of those place where you can see students taking a quick bite. I love thier hot tea and Dosa. Do try thier dosas.

Breakfast is above average, but the north Indian dinner items, the veg kadai and paneer dishes are really awesome..... But for me the standout is VEG BIRIYANI, it is the best VEG BIRIYANI I've had, its just for ₹80,is in good quantity and is so tasty it defeats the same in other restros..... Gist is, if you haven't had pangala's biriyani, you haven't had a good veg biriyani..... The best part is, it is easy on the pocket!

It is a hotel which provides morning breakfast,afternoon meal, as well as night fine dine. Also provides snacks juice and icecream. A good hotel for family dining and for budgget freindly food.
Food is delicious. Old tradition hotel. Great value for money. Quantity is nice. Good ambience. Polite staff. Location is right next to the main road. It's hard to find these type of hotels these days. Just go for it if you are looking for a traditional Udupi style veg food. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Must try when you are in Udupi.

*Average service (Too much attitude for the service-men).
*Easily accessible to anyone who has just reached Manipal.
You must try the tea of pangala. We ususally come here after a long day at college when we have very tight schedule and lot of reports to complete. The moment we used to have tea, we used to forget all work load and felt relax. Dosa is great. As good as any expensive hotel with native south indian touch with very reasonable price. I loved this hotel during my academics in MIT. Everyone should try pangala tea once.
It's a well maintained hotel, just in front of tiger circle. It's pure vegetarian hotel and one can get delicious well cooked food.
People from other places, please try the dish Buns.. it's just awesome. And they even have snacks in the evening like pani puri, masala puri and all.
Good food. Affordable prices. But the service is poor. You habe to wait for the waiter to come take your order as one table is assigned to only one waiter. Other waiters will completely ignore you or ask you to wait.
