The view from the restaurant is perfect and very beautiful.The server is very polite and professional.

It's very near to Margao Market . If you 're near by . Do try having lunch or dinner at this restaurant . Delicious Non Veg Seafood. Price is also reasonable and quick service . Good Ambience . They have loads of Variety in Sea Food . Even Non Veg Fish Thali is good .

One of the best family restaurant in the heart of margao city. Good ambience good food and service specially their fish thali. Must try their bamboo biryani yummy.
1) Situation: *** : In Margao, located close Municipal Garden. A bit difficult to find because restaurant is in one upper floor and not too much easy to find the entrance on the street.
2) Toilets: **** : only one toilette and wash bassin but very clean and good smell.
3) Ambiance: **** : very quiet and calm!
4) Table: **** : good space, very good ordering. A very good point for a "family restaurant" : table napkins are not paper napkins but clothe napkinks. It's not common in lot of Margao restaurants.
5) Food: ** : medium to good. Menu is typically Indian but they made for me no spicy dishes but very oily.
6) Staff: *** : polite, professional, kind and helpfull.
7) Bill: *** : not too much expensive (around 1000 Rs for 2 persons, all drinks included).
kandeel.. nice staff and ambiance...the service was way too quick (wonder yhe item was already cooked :p ) though the food was tasty :-)

Kandeel has been in the business for a very long time. I had lunch here after a very long time(more than 15 years). Prior to this I used to have lunch n number of times. And i can confidently say that the quality previously was far better than present times. Service time was more than 30 minutes. Even a simple lime soda took an annoying amount of time. We had chicken Biryani, prawn Biryani and mutton thali. I felt the dishes were slightly overpriced for their quality.

Everything is too good about this place. We have ordered paneer kabab, butter garlic nan, fried rice and paneer mutter masala. The taste was simply awesome. It has got 3 floors where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your meal. Staff is also well disciplined. The blue vibe of the restaurant adds cherry on the cake. Good ambience, affordable prices and very tasty fish thalis with limited items and not so many overfilled things. Tried Modso Thali, was very tasty and especially crab sukka in the thali was awesome. Must try. Do give this place a visit.

Had an amazing Chicken thali. The variety provided in it was just amazing with good pieces of chicken in the gravy. Not forgetting a bit of vegetables here and there and always present salad. Good quantity of rice and roti. To top it was nice sweet kheer as a dessert. This thali was simply a good blend of all yummy tasting food on a single platter. Enjoyed my meal, services provided here are really good.
Decent place to catch a meal in the heart of Margao City.
Variety of thalis are served, however no flat bread/chapati was served with the thali..only rice was served. Was informed that they do not serve it, however saw a pic of thali with chapati in it. Very fishy.
Also no water is served, waiters try to push bottled water/ soft drinks.
Bottom line..food portion was good and reasonably priced.
One of the best family restaurants in the margao With new management. Had lunch with a varieties of delicious seafood dishes with a reasonable price. Seafood platter was awesome.
