A really small cafe in the streets of mcleodganj, They are famous for their mutton momos so went to try on that the menu is really all about mutton dishes. We tried the mutton momos the chutney was extremly spicy just the way we like and momos were good in taste and the rates are quite reasonable.
If you can do away with the looks of the place, you’ll be amazed to find the bestest comforting bowl of luscious thupka here! One of best in mcleodganj!
We tried the mutton variant and it was delicious! Perfect balance of meat and noodles and freshest veggies thrown in just the right measure. Fragrant and oh so delicious.
We also tried fried mutton momos which as stated by all others, are amazing and done exceedingly well. I would like to add, the place is a bit shabby and you end up sharing tables with strangers and it rather takes time for your order to arrive as it is freshly prepared but once you dig in, you’ll less care for anything but that fragrant Bowl of thupka! We certainly did. Loved it and we’ll be back whenever in town!
Really liked the mutton fried rice, mutton chowmein and the ginger lemon honey tea 🙆🏽♀️ . The only drawback is that the place is really really tiny but the food is good so I would visit it over and over again 💖
Very tiny place on Dharamkot Road, but packs quite a punch when it comes to their food.
I had the mutton thukpa which was a steaming bowl of delicious broth, noodles, chunks of mutton and vegetables.
They make everything fresh so you can definitely try this place without a doubt.
This place was on our list and recommended by a friend who visits McLeod often. It was right opposite our hotel but there was always a waitlist and queue outside as this place has only 4 tables and also that it's rated high on TripAdvisor and Google. We went just at the closing time so luckily got a place to sit. Thupka was flavourful however since I like spicy food I found it a little bland nonetheless 5star for the freshness and taste. The momos were fresh and had a tasty chilli sauce with it which was different from around 5-6 places we had momos. Best part is they have half plate options so you get to eat a couple of dishes. Two dishes and a ginger lemon tea cost us 280 bucks only. Worth it!
Must visit here.... Top quality food that you will love it trust me.... Staff behaviour is too good....😊
They are known as one of the most famous places in McleodGanj for their momos and tibetan food. I tried their Veg Momos and absolutely loved it. The prices are on slightly higher side though. Its a small place and can accompany only 20-25 people at a time.
It is a cozy place but the food it's really amazing. I came here two times in the same week because was really nice. You have to try! :)
Amazing food... no one can beat these momos... authentic... humble staff.. really and highly recommended...
Small decent and clean place. Make sure you use map and visual help too as one might miss this place. Momo are out of the world here and I tried thukpa too which was good. All an all nice cosy place with good food
It's a small cozy place. I had fried vegetable momos. They tasted yummy...I loved the chutney served along with it. The lady taking care of the place was courteous and smiling.. what I perceive from the other customers is there mutton momos are amazing..till the time I was there who ever walked in the place ordered mutton momos for sure..
Would suggest when you are in Mcleodganj do give this place a try to tickle your taste buds.
Its a very small restaurant in Mcleodganj, and specialises in Momos(mutton, chicken and veg).
Momos are prepared fresh i.e... steamed when you give the order, so be prepared to wait for 5-10 minutes.
I tried chicken momos, the taste was authentic, perfectly steamed. It also has a few other dishes like thupka etc.
Can try this place if you are a Momo lover.
-ves: its a very small restuurant, so you may have to wait for 5-10 minutes when crowded.
We ordered Chicken Momo & Veg chowmein. Loved the food overall, if I could get the red chutney for Momos I would have been double happy. But still, food is worth a try in Mcleod!!
Small and authentic Tibetan restaurant.
All dishes were delicious!
Truly recommended.
