Cafe Kalki now known as Bungalow Medu is located on Ooty Main Road is a cheerful place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a simple meal.While the charming décor features art deco trinkets and curated furniture, the open space and greenery bring a friendly, neighbourhood vibe that is instantly calming.
The menu is a fusion of South Indian, Continental, and a few Thai dishes.

- Hummus Platter
- Fried Rice and Chicken 65
along with Strawberry Cheesecake and Cold Coffee. Trust me everything was delicious 😋. Would definitely recommend visiting this place.

A beautiful place to visit on the foothills of Ooty. Very friendly staff and a unique cafe. I had tried only the pastry and I would say please don't have pastries here as they are not that good (my fault I ordered it even after lot of others warning me). But I heard their food is really good. Will edit my review when I try it someday.
Meanwhile, this a must visit place if you're crossing by Mettupalayam.
An amazing hidden gem enroute to Ooty. We stoppped for an early lunch. The ambience and the presentation of each dish was extremely thoughtful. And taste was great too.
The restaurant has good ambiance and the food is also good. They have board games to have fun while waiting. The service has to improve but it’s fine when you go out with a group.
Great Place for a calm and serene meal. We went with family for lunch. The ambiance was so soothing to the eyes. It’s a pretty new place with traditional home aesthetics. The quality and taste is so good. I guess they source the ingredients from their own farm. But, the menu has limited options for veg and non-veg. It’s little pricey also. Hope they add more options to the menu. You have to reserve a table the previous day.

Me and my friend went here for lunch... and we were so satisfied and happy with super delicious food. We tried non veg. I would really like to recommend this restaurant. Ambience and food both were authentic!!! This was on the way from coimbatore airport to coonoor.
