This is indeed one of my favourite place for North Indian food! The Dal makhani with aaloo kulchas with the paneer and channa was so delicious that I feel like going here really very often! The ambiance is so pleasing and the staff is extremely polite! I love this place!

Visited The Sahib Room last weekend to celebrate my Dad's Birthday and I must say, The Sahib Room made sure he had a wonderful time.
Being a marriott the hospitality cannot be questioned, they always take it a notch higher with every visit. We would like to Thank the Manager Mr Sydney for the same, who made sure we had a wonderful experience.
Also would like to Thank Mr Rishabh for his service, he made sure all our needs were taken care of.
Coming to the food, we ordered,
Kandhari Paneer Tikka: The marination was super yum with beetroot extract which was the 1st time we had someone using beet in the marination.
Subz Sheekh Kebab: Finely minced french beans, peas and gratinated with cheese was very nice.
Broccoli Dal Bangla: Broccoli marrianated in mustard and cream cheese was extremely delicious and was specially made for my sister keeping her dietary restrictions in mind and they din't even charge us for the same.
Mausam Ki Sabzi: As the name suggests seasonal mixed vegetables cooked chef's style in onion tomato gravy.
Sahib Ki Dal E Khaas: The famous black dal which is cooked over 24 hours with tomatoes and fenugreek was extremely delicious but was low on salt.
The Aloo Kulcha was also very nicely made.
Would also like to Thank the chefs Mr Ali & Mr Qureshi for the wonderful preparations.
We loved the food and the hospitality was superlative, surely visiting again soon.
This restaurant is a zomato gold restaurant and one can use 1 + 1 on Food.
The place is beautifully managed with very courteous staff who helped us with the order. The galouti kebabs were really good so was the biryani. If only the naan could have been better. Little extra on the pocket but zomato gold really helps here. (:

The place completely lives up to its expectations for what it is known, and that is it's North Indian food. The food here is absolute class and will not disappoint you. Being an Indian myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the north Indian food and also it was finger licking good. We had ordered two sabzees of Paneer, A dal and various Indian breads which were all well cooked and decent. Also, the staff here is very polite and cordial which we appreciate. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but again, it's a 5 star hotel and we have to live with the fact.

This one ultra posh restaurant is on the 9th floor of the hotel St Regis, Lower Parel. Frankly this restaurant is quite expensive, but here comes Zomato Gold to the rescue...Your complete Gold subscription cost can be recovered in one single usage, bcoz you literally save more than 1000Rs.
If you visit this place ever, dont forget to have Sahibs Black Special Dal which is cooked for 24hrs on low flame. This dal is just the best in the world. I am sure you wont find it any better, any where. DONT DARE U MISS IT !!

What can I say the food was excellent ordered the roti, lamb Nihari and chicken Biriyani and once I started eating the food was so good forget to take more pictures. Ambience of the restaurant and professionalism of the staff is exceptional. Master Chef Asif Quershi came and checked on us to make sure the food was to our liking and Sydney from the waitstaff made sure everything was to our liking . I stayed at St Regis quite a few times but never ate at the restaurant but the experience was so good that will make sure to come back again and taste some other of the chefs delicious dishes . Also dal Makani and pan ice cream are absolutely great.

I was here yesterday and we really enjoyed our drinks here. Particularly loved the Kipling Sahib drink - really awesome. Mojito was a bit too sweet for my liking. I had a paan vodka drink and it was quite awesome too. Love this place for their drinks!

At the time of our visit, which is at around 8.30 pm, The place was peaceful and quiet. So it was a pleasure to have dinner with my colleagues. The food was also good. We went with the menu on Ala Carte. Starters Tandoori Broccoli was very delicious and a must have. Main course was also very tasty and delicious which the team loved. We tootoad on the desert like mad. 2 pastries, kulfi, and then to top it all, we had Sundaes which was truckful. Thanks for the great dinner Look forward to another visit.

The first thing to leave anyone awestruck is the tasteful and very well thought of interiors. You cannot just walk straight to your table and eat and leave. This place has a lot more to offer, definitely take a good look at the various elements placed in the restaurant and ask a server for a tour maybe, you’re sure to feel like a Sahib’s guest.
The service is excellent, very very courteous and matured staff who have it all right; from the knowledge of food, place, menu, history etc. have questions, ask them and they will be glad to guide.
And finally, the Food.. Oh what a treat for the taste buds!
We went for a family dinner with all 4 of us having completely different preferences, but Surprisingly, each one of us loved everything that was served. The perfection in taste and presentation made our evening. My brother who doesn’t touch desserts, took us by surprise when he relished the Gulab Jamun brûlée (a must try). A rich 4 course meal which each one of us enjoyed is quite rare. An evening with family is very precious and nothing worse than a place letting the excitement down, but so glad that all of us absolutely loved it.
This place is definitely on our list each time in Mumbai.

Sahib Room is one of my favorite places for extremely yummy north Indian food in Mumbai. Being from Delhi, am always on the lookout for places that serve good north Indian classics, be it something as basic as a good crispy naan or something as elaborate as a good daal makhani and while most places always fall short, Sahib Room scores on all fronts and how! While I like all St. Regis restaurants, I have a special soft corner for this one because of its delightful food and its rich royal ambience which is opulent and romantic in its own way. Their menu brings a smile to my face with all the yummy kebabs with inclusion of a modern twist with avocados and mustard and broccoli thrown in. Today, I tried their mutton gilawati kebab and I must say it is one of the most soft and flavorful gilawati kebab I have ever had and for mains, tried their paneer khada masala and their daal makhani. Their daal makhani was the show stealer for me. I was so satisfied after having that absolutely creamy buttery rich goodness of a daal which clearly told about all the effort and care that had gone into its preparation. Their service is of a proper five-star standard with prompt and friendly staff making sure you have a great dining experience. Overall, this is one place where you won't regret spending that li'l extra :)
This is the amazing meal we had at Sahib room and Kipling Bar in St Regis for mum's birthday. 💕 We had Brocolli Dak Bangla which was brocolli marinated in kasundi mustard and cream cheese and it was soooooo good! We also had Mahi Gulnar tikka which was a fish tikka and Khade masale ka murg which was Chicken curry made in a thick gravy with whole spices. We ended the day with rasmalai and a special birthday cake from the restaurant which was a wonderful surprise. The food was absolutely delicious and the most flavourful food I've had. The best part? We all had Zomato Gold so we got 3 dishes free! Zomato, thank you for that!! 😍😍😍😍 BEST DAY EVER!

Beautiful, calm setting....with one of the finest Punjabi food I have had for a long long time... Paneer is as fresh as prepared right now. Dal makhni was a show stopper.
Made a reservation for my parent's anniversary celebration and was impressed with the professionalism, even though it is expected from St. Regis.
There is valet parking, which solves the parking issue for most in Mumbai.
The restaurant had a nice ambience. We had Shadab serve us. He was really polite and well spoken, and helped us when we had a confusion with what to order. Their mushroom galouti was the best I've eaten in Mumbai. The broccoli and paneer starters were also good. In the mains, the Dal makhni stood out, and so did their breads. We ended with the pan ice cream, which was delicious. If I have one complaint about this place, it's about the choice of desserts available. Wanted to try the Sahib sundae, which unfortunately wasn't available.
For people who love North Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this place, even though it isn't spoken about much.

Completely missed out that this place accepts Zomato gold. They usually require you to state that before hand, but they accepted my Zomato gold unlock even after requesting for the bill.
They even added a pastry free of charge for the occasion.

The ambience is simply amazing and soothing.... it is an apt place to celebrate special occasions...One needs to reserve a table prior since it is mostly full...the staffs are friendly and cordial....there have been few occasions where we hadn’t done any reservations and still the staff managed to get us a table....

What an experience. This is by far the best food AND customer service I've ever experienced in my LIFE!
Food: Amazing. There is no comparisom, the food is absolutely peerless. The finest north indian food I have ever consumed. My compliments to Chef Siddharth for the food and Chef Kailash for the rotis, parathas and fulkas.
Ambiance: Royal. There is no other word. You need to see it for yourself. From the rotary telephones and stuffed tiger at the entrance to black and white photographs in the place itself, this place is absolutely reminiscent of the old world of royalty.
Service: TOP CLASS! Let me explain why. I am left handed. Usually cutlery is placed on the right side and I have to pick it up and use it as is convenient to me. But the staff saw I was left handed and placed my cutlery on the left side! I've never had that level of service ever! It is hard for a left handed person to keep using their non-dominant hand but this place was sensitive to even that! That's called amazing customer service!

The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is one gem of an Indian restaurant at the beautiful St Regis, Mumbai. The dining rooms boasts of amazing views at night, it’s elegantly decorated in colonial style with a bunch of artefacts kept everywhere around and delivers a truly “Sahib” experience. Their newly appointed Chef Taj has done a wonderful job in reprising the menu which was already perfect. The Sahib room does justice to The Awadhi Cuisine in every possible way. The food is extremely well balanced, so aromatic that it’s tempting from a distance and has the characteristic of Gilawat in most of the dishes (minimal effort required in chewing). The best way to sample kebabs is to opt for the Sampling Platter. Loved all of them, super tender. Star was obviously the Gilawat kebab, probably the best I ever had after ITC’s Kakori (Sorry the Dum Pukth’s version is still unbeatable). Next we ordered the Sahib ki Nihari and Sahib ki Dal e Khaas which were definitely the best renditions I ever tasted. The balance of flavours was impeccable. Even the breads were fantastic. Have to try the Biryani next time. Coming to the service, everyone took good care of the table, it was non-intrusive. Have to especially give a shoutout to Chef Taj for customising some things and taking the time out to have interesting conversations about food with me and my dad (was celebrating my Dad’s bday). The team did everything and more to make our celebration memorable. My dad absolutely loved the food and was already making plans to return for a meal. The restaurant is soon going to get renovated and I feel super lucky to have experienced what the original Sahib Room had to offer. The newer establishment will be opened by Chef Taj only, have higher expectations. What a fantastic meal it was tho, highly recommending everyone to catch a meal at The Sahib Room. Went day before Valentine’s Day with friends for dinner. Everything from made to order cocktails to surprise Alphonso mango kulfi with 24 carat gold leaf was perfect! Chef Tej personally made sure each one of us was taken care of. Wait staff and manager checked on us often. They seemed to genuinely care. The food was so so very good. They served the best Cheese Garlic Bread I have tasted till date. Salad was delicious too. And the Sizzler was completely delectable. The portion size, taste & plating- everything was commendable. I could even take my pet dog with me who also had dinner there. The only problem was though the staffs were very polite, they were not very helpful & the service was quite slow- but that could have been due to weekend rush. Also, though they had nice sitting arrangements, the ambience was strictly okay- nothing fancy. I would surely love to revisit this place soon.
