Yash Jethwa
Pa Pa Ya in Palladium Mall offers a contemporary and vibrant dining experience with its innovative Asian cuisine. The restaurant impresses with its modern decor and a menu that explores unique flavors and presentation styles. The dishes are crafted with precision, showcasing a fusion of traditional and modern culinary techniques. The upscale ambiance and attentive service contribute to an overall enjoyable dining atmosphere. While the prices may lean towards the higher side, the gastronomic adventure and chic setting make Pa Pa Ya a recommended choice for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Palladium Mall.

Very good food. Their chefs special menu is very well curated. The staff is also very helpful and all the recommendations by the waiter were on point. The dimsims were a highlight. We mainly tried the veg menu but it was delicious

“Scrumptious Pan Asian food!” We visited Pa Pa Ya for lunch . It's located at Palladium Mall, Lower Parel. Interiors have a red theme, they have wide variety of dim sums ,sushi etc. We tried seafood dumplings ,chicken , fried rice . Everything was tasty .Squids had an overdose of curry leaves though. Being Pan Asian eatery ,majority of the dishes have coconut or peanuts. Service was good .

"Dear Pa Pa Ya Hotel, I had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant on [20/10], and I must say it was a remarkable culinary experience. The food at Pa Pa Ya Hotel is nothing short of or 5-Star Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at your exquisite establishment from The room service at was simply outstanding. The meals were delivered promptly, and the menu offered a wide array of delectable options. I was particularly impressed by the presentation and taste of the dishes. The hospitality displayed by your staff was equally remarkable. Everyone I encountered was not only professional but also exceptionally friendly. One instance that stands out is when the concierge went out of their way to assist with a last-minute tour booking. The room was a haven of comfort and cleanliness, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. My overall experience at was nothing short of extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxury stay. If I were to offer any constructive feedback, it would be to expand the breakfast menu. However, this is a minor point in an otherwise flawless experience. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable.

Pa pa ya we visited on a whim and surprisingly the food turned out to be really tasty. We ordered the wasabi pickle rice, Thai green curry and the mushroom in gravy that has 5 types of mushrooms including my Favorite shiitake. They have a couple of great kimchi and lotus stems too on the menu and I am told they are fab but will try that the next time. However, what they score in food, ambience, an exhaustive Asian menu that has something from everywhere and done authentically - and even the competitive pricing - it should’ve scored a 5 star but I gave them only 4 because the service was not up to what one expects in a fine dine restaurant. The food was delayed, water was not chilled like we wanted and the captain did try to make it up - but those are picky points for people who want nothing but the best. I would strongly recommend the restaurant if you are looking for a good experience at the palladium mall - but frankly there are other better places around - that do a better job - though not in the same price range. Value for money.

The food is great, made with great care and presentation is good. Service is okay, attentiveness can get better. The vibe of the place can get better. While there was crowd during non peak hours, but liveliness can get better

A great experience with my family. A booking is a must. Relax drink and enjoy. Light music doesn't disturb your mood and agenda. Don't expect much quantity but what ever is served is state of art. So relax and don't think of your pocket. Ambience is too good and the staff is very effective. They keep a keen eye on you and are on toes to serve you. So don't worry. Just check in and enjoy.

The food is awesome here, infact this the 2nd branch i have visited of Pa pa ya. We were in a hurry and the captain served us delicious food and that to quickly. Love the soup and sushi. Dimsums are also nice. Must visit for sushi lovers.

Great food, quick service. The roasted aubergine dim sum is amazing and very original. I don’t remember any other restaurant Mumbai offering it. The drinks menu is ample to choose from. The restaurant is not particularly spacious but that’s just it. The mochi ice cream was a surprise. The portion is just right. I do feel though the startes portion could be a little more. And they did not charge any service tax. I am definitely coming back. Give this place a try - you won’t be disappointed. And I am saying this after having sampled a very small part of their menu which in itself has enough to offer….

The first time I went to one of the papaya branches was here in palladium. The lamb shank and roti was the highlight of the meal. Although we felt that they could’ve given some more roti as is wasn’t sufficient for 1 person. It was 1 roti cut into 4 pieces. The matcha tea cake dessert was very well presented

Laksa soup with lotus stem
Laksa soup is a popular Malaysian soup made using rice , noodles , vegetables and usually the flavour is more of spicy coconut milk which makes it a best part to eat .
Lotus stem was sauted in honey and chilli sauce , perfect mix and match of sweet and spicy .
I totally enjoyed being at Pa Pa Ya you guys do try the starters and soup .
.
A perfect place to go .
Pa Pa Ya is amazing. The prices are steep for the quantity but the quality of the food makes it absolutely worth it. We tried the vegetarian sushi pizza and the vegetarian Chuang fun rolls and both were delectable. The love potion drink was one of the tastiest cocktails I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend this place.

This actually is one place where I believe, pick
anything on the menu and justice has been done
to the produce. Right from the basics like Miso
and Ramen to the Chocolate Ball on fire is a
masterpiece.

PA PA YA is a decent modern Asian Bistro, very different and creative decor which adds up to a gaudy ambience. A hitherto fabled restaurant trying to keep up with its main BKC branch. Coming to what we tried:
Started off with the Amuse Bouche which had watermelon and basil along with lemon grass foam, served both to prepare us for the meal and to offer a glimpse of the chef's style.
Among their signature tipples we opted ONLY for their GIN based drinks (Gin is BAE):
• HIBISCO SOUR: concoction of vanilla and hibiscus mixed with Asia’s eternal spirit i.e. Gin. Refreshing drink and a must try for gin lovers.
• SHIKOKU COOLER: gin-based drink with a tinge of citrus elements such as orange and peach.
• DILL LICIOUS: traditional combination gin and tonic with dill leaves and sake.
• LOVE YOU- ZOU!!!: Gin mixed with simple notes of cherry using maraschino liqueur, aromatised by YUZU.
…..
Moving forward we opted for SPICY PRAWN TEMPURA sushi roll (MAKI) with a well-balanced taste of both sushi and tempura prawn complimenting each other.
…..
From their small plates (TAPAS) we opted for:
• TWICE COOKED PORK BELLY, FRAGRANT CHILLI: justifying its name a perfectly cooked pork belly sautéed with colourful bell pepper and garlic.
• CORN FED CHICKEN LEG, THOUSAND CHILLI: using tender and juicy portion of chicken sautéed with chillies and bell peppers.
…..
Having over 120+ types of dim sums we tried JIAOZI BRAISED LAMB: cooked to the perfection, mouth watering dim sums filled with minced lamb meat.
…..
Lunching at an Asian bistro and not trying out their bao would be a disgrace to the culture 😊, we tried their OPEN BAO FILLED WITH CHICKEN AND PICKLED GARLIC: just let it in your mouth and experience the blast of flavours teasing your taste buds craving for more.
…..
Coming to main course, we tried:
• SICHUAN STYLE CRISPY PRAWNS: prawns battered and fried tossed in Sichuan sauce with spring onion and garlic. Medium spiced.
• KHAO PAD KAR PAO: here you can choose among veg/ chicken and sea food. We opted for sea food which is nothing but a simple burnt chilli garlic fried rice tossed with prawns and fish.
…..
Finally, we ended our meal with their signature desserts:
• LIQUID HAZELNUT FONDANT CAKE MATCHA BLUEBERRY QUENELLE: a minimalistic presentation with the blueberry sorbet and Choco lava filled inside the matcha cake.
• CHOCOLATE BALL ON FIRE: vanilla ice cream enclosed in a tempered chocolate ball complimented with nuts and raisins. A must try for sweet tooth.
…..
Overall a great Asian experience culminating different Asian countries. The pricing segment could be worked upon.

This place never disappoints me whenever i visit here. Last week visited to try their some of few new dishes.
Service was good but a bit slow on Wednesday afternoon.

Let’s begin what we had order :

Asparagus and corn dimsum :
Kind of crystal dimsums stuffed with asparagus and corn cooked perfectly served with dips. Must order

Leek and water chestnuts dimsum :
I highly recommend leek and water chestnuts dimsums it’s one of best vegetarian dimsums. Sever with three dips celery and spring onions and black bean sauce.
It even looks so beautiful

Crispy vegetable Maki dehydrate spinach :
Signature sushi served with wasabi and pickled ginger.

Curried vegatable samboosas :
French Beans sautéd with some other veggies stuffed in phyllo pastry deep fried served with tomatoes salsa. It was very oil but tasted good.

Khao pad kar pao rice :
Sticky rice with veggies and greens it tasted okay.

Wok tossed Veggies :
Veggies tossed in wok with tofu and baby spinach with Mala sauce. It was good in taste not very spicy.

Moochi ice cream :
Four different flavours of moochi ice cream mango basil, salted caramel, strawberry and truffle vanilla cut into two pieces each served with Oreo crumbs. I loved mango basil and salted caramel more and vanilla truffle was not that good.

Overall

Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Ambiance 5/5
Location 5/5

Pa Pa Ya is known for redefining asian cuisine. We visited their outlet at Palladium Mall, lower parel, Mumbai on Valentine's Day. They had a very beautiful sitting and curated 5 course meal for the couple.
As soon as we entered we were greeted by the receptionist and she guided us to our table. We were assigned a waiter called Venkatesh who was very polite and helpful in choosing the dishes. We had ordered
⭐ A plate of Crispy Vegetable Maki, dehydrated spinach sushi - A MUSTT TRY!!
⭐ A plate of Vegetable California sushi - the classic variant
Out of their new dimsum menu which is huge with 68 variants we tried
⭐ Asparagus and corn Crystal dimsums
⭐ Assorted Veg Shao Mai - these were yummm!!
I'm a huge fan of their dimsums. They are just so light and delicious that you can a lot!
We were then given a palate cleanser before we got our main course. We ordered
⭐ Wok tossed seasonal veg in mala sauce - this dish was saucy with all the perfect flavours
⭐ Fragrant Crispy Chilly Fried Rice veg - this one lives upto the name. Comes with a dash of really good fragrance.
Finally we ended our meal with their signature dessert!
⭐ Liquid Hazelnut Fondant Cake Matcha Blueberry Quennelle - the blueberry sorbet was mouth watering with the choco lava filling inside the cake
We were so happy with our decision to visit pa pa ya and make the evening even more special with such delicious dishes. Making it our go to place from now onwards♥️

Excellent service, Novel food, relaxed ambience. The menu variety can appear confusing but it works well to satiate all palates at the table.

Have been to this place several times before, but had a terrible experience this time. We were a group of 8, and the service was : 1. Very slow 2. They mixed up the veg and non veg orders more than once 3. They got the order wrong more than once, and we had to send back the dish. The food itself too was average compared to what I’ve had before.

The food was god awful. I haven’t eaten here in 2 years . It was amazing then. The fried lotus stem tasted of such strong tamarind that my teeth hurt. The pad Thai noodles were also full of tamarind and tomato. The Mapo tofu had hard pieces of soy granules. The roll was good . The mixed veggies in mala sauce was terrible. All in all a waste .

We were just amazed at a thoughtful gesture of the staff and restaurant to make our lunch so special by sharing a thoughtfully designed Desert to celebrate friendship.

Good place to taste pan Asian food. Nice servers and good ambience. Veg Food was good but oil was more than required. Worth visit.

The service could have been better, especially given the experience one expects in a fine dine. In terms of food,
Carrot truffle cream cheese dumpling - 4/5 (very well made but it has mushroom pieces)
Jigae soup - 2/5 (extremely spicy and huge vegetable pieces)
Corn cream - 2.5/5 (the coconut taste was overpowering)
Vegetable sushi with dried spinach - 4/5
Asparagus cream cheese sushi - 3/5 (the cream cheese was more like mayonnaise and the rice wasn't sticky enough)
Lamb dumplings - 3/5
Pad thai - 3.5/5 (well-made, though the mix of flavours was overpowered by an excess of one sauce)

Dished we loved:
Spinach sushi
Laksa
Vanilla panna cotta

I am a regular customer at PaPaYa and have enjoyed their food since a while. However, last night when I visited the restaurant with my friends, we were really surprised or rather shocked to see the quality of their service reach a pathetic level.

We ordered asparagus and corn dimsums apart from a couple of other starters. While everything else arrived, the dimsums took more than 20 minutes to arrive! After asking our server about the status, he informed us that “the shape of the dimsums wasn’t proper” and so they could not serve it to us. Also, this is the second time I was given such a stupid excuse for the same dish by them. Suggestion - remove the dimsums from the menu if you don’t have the ability to make them.

But the disappointment didn’t end here - after ordering for 2 portions of Sushi, we waited for THIRTY MINUTES! The staff was sooo incapable and mismanaged... no one knew better and they kept assuring us the food was on it’s way. Our server was quite condescending and over smart. When I complained to him about their service his reply was “the speed of the food is not in my control”. All he could have done is apologised or asked for us to give him a chance to check the status. To top that, when the two starters arrived, he said “Let me start with serving the two angry ladies first” obviously, referring to my friend and I. And that’s basically when I decided that I would never be visiting this restaurant again.

They tried to make up for their lack of professionalism and service by giving us a rather horrible dessert. And also by informing us that their service was terribly slow because “the chef had too many dishes to make tonight” laughable right?

It would be safe to predict that this restaurant is nearing its end. If this is how they serve their regular customers, I’d rather take my cravings somewhere else.
Save your time and money - avoid PaPaYa.

We were in group of 20 service was too too bad ...!! Very less staff no efficiency ... when thy serve sushi soy sauce should serve first but 15 min we got the soy sauce ... alcohol service was so bad that we need to call extra on the table. They were mixing food jain non jain food on the table person was not knowing whether it was jain or non jain. Very very un professional. Place was too too noisy.

Not upto the mark will wonder would recommend to friends and family.
Chaittali Shrivasttava
Ordered rice dumpling. It was very average in taste. The dumplings were hard as well. Then we ordered crispy corn curd. It tasted very bad with overdose of lemon grass and a weird taste. The food portions are tiny and very overpriced.

Tried this new app - Wow tables you make a reservation for Saturday dinner - 6 course meal with one cocktail at 1200 per person 👍🏼 steal deal 🙌🏽
Though we had a reservation we were made to wait 10-15 mins for our table..
Service was ok otherwise, food was served quickly
Food was the highlight of the evening... drinks were mediocre...
We had soups, sushi, starters, mains and dessert 😍
Place was packed and the seating felt a little cramped..

Loved the food and place. The best veg sushi I have had. The staff was also very courteous. Sanoop who was serving our table was prompt and friendly.

It’s Pan Asian cuisine at your service, this outlet was noisier than its other outposts in Mumbai, reason being there was not a closed door for insulation, the mall’s noise was coming-in unfiltered. I have been to other Papayas and definitely the decor and ambience was more upscale and classy than this place. We had ordered for Laksa Japanese soup, which was like wow. The California Nigaki and the Edmame Rolls were perfect. One funny thing is that they serve a palate changer at the start of the food, which is wrong I guess, a palate changer is always served after starters and before the main course. The Wasabi rice we had ordered was top-notch. Overall the food was good. The waiters were running around, not a good sign, it’s a sign of either you are understaffed or you don’t understand the game. I would rather visit another Papaya, if given a choice.

Final Verdict: Good Pan Asian food with noisy and chaotic ambience just like the South East Asian Countries 😎
Vratika
Ambiance and staff service was great.
I really enjoyed their food.
I had pad Thai noodles which was okayish
I had pizza sushi and spinach sushi which was great.
And the roll was also amazing.
A must try place!
