Review Swati Snacks - Mumbai

Raina Doshi
One of my favorite places to visit, which we come to again and again. Fast service, great staff and a variety of options to try! From yummy chaat to Mumbai classics like Vada pav, dabeli and misal, they also have gujarati dishes worth to try. The pankis (both classic and pudina) and filter coffee ice cream is my favourite. They also have Jain options, a special menu which changes seasonally. A classic restaurant and a must visit place!

10/10 taste, being from South India, I had not heard the names of most dishes. Was pleasantly surprised by every dish, tasted fantastic. High rating absolutely justified. Stomach was full but the heart wasn't. Would highly recommend for lunch/dinner. Don't be fooled by the "snacks" bit, it's a full meal.

Never again will I visit Mumbai without paying my respects here first. Unbelievable sweet, savoury and lipsmacking Gujju inspired, and other Indian must-haves, and desserts. Panki, pau bhaji, sev puri, dahi chaat, dosa and filter coffee ice cream, they had to roll me out of here. Mainly, their slick hipster canteen wood and aluminium design ought to be rolled out across India. Do not miss.

Fell in love with this place on my first visit, and couldn't get enough of it! Tried panki, podi idli, pani puri, satpadi roti, gatta curry, sitaphal icecream, and some other samples that the server kindly offered; and each item was freshly made and lovely.

It's apparently a famous spot that I discovered only today. Had podi idli and bhelpuri along with South Indian Coffee which was served with some banana chips on the side (the first time I encountered this and it's a v v thoughtful combo) The food was good. Will try the famous panki chutney the next time I get to visit this place !

A Flavorful Delight in the upscale business district and tourist area! I recently visited this gem for a delightful experience with authentic Gujarati and Marwadi flavors. Conveniently located near the business district and Nariman Point, it's a go-to spot for a culinary adventure. Parking can be a challenge with open paid street parking, and I'm uncertain about valet services. The opening hours are from 12 noon to 10.45 pm, with the last order at 10.30 pm. Be prepared for a potential wait during weekend and weekday lunches, but the efficient service and ample seating mitigate the delay. The ambience, adorned with warm white lighting, is both simple and elegant. The open kitchen adds a unique touch, and the fast service, coupled with knowledgeable servers, enhances the overall dining experience. The common washroom is well-maintained. The all-vegetarian menu boasts delectable Gujarati and Marwadi dishes with decent portion sizes. The servers' recommendations are spot-on, and accompaniments are generously refilled, although extra charges may apply. Availability of menu items is sometimes limited, as popular choices sell out quickly. I highly recommend trying their sugarcane juice and savoring specialties like panki chutney, dabeli, and dal dhokli. Everything is prepared fresh, bursting with flavor—a must-visit for any food enthusiast!

My husband and I wanted to eat classic Mumbai street food like Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Dabeli, etc., our hotel recommended this restaurant and I’m pretty satisfied! If you are looking for a clean and good place to try Mumbai delicacies, this is the place to go! We decided to try all three of the above snacks, the ones that stood out are the Pav Bhaji and the Dabeli 🤩. Our waiter was so friendly too! He even gave us a complimentary scoop of coffee ice cream! Also, very good! One note, the prices are pretty steep but for cleanliness, it’s worth it!

Fun fact: Swati Snacks is not just any restaurant; it's a tale of culinary ambition that started in the cozy confines of a home kitchen. And now, it's earned its rightful place in the Essence of Asia collection by Asia's 50 Best Restaurants. Talk about a true underdog story that sends tingles down your spine! Swati snacks is a popular vegetarian Gujarati restaurant. The restaurant is extremely popular amongst the Gujarati families as it serves much beyond the standard dhokla,Patra etc. We waited for a good 20-25 mins before we could get a spot. Since they don't take telephone reservations you have to queue up but I definitely felt, it was worth the wait. They have two dine-in options in Bombay (Tardeo and Nariman point). They have recently started a dark kitchen in Santa Cruz/Juhu which delivers to most of western mumbai areas. Panki is an extremely popular vegetarian snack which is delicious and light. The ones that we ordered and really enjoyed were Panki, Sev puri, masala pao, satpati roti n gatte ki sabji, baked khichdi. They don't serve any kind of soda based drinks so we enjoyed a sweet lime. Decor wise, extremely clean, basic place with steel tables and comfortable chairs. You can partly view the kitchen. The kitchen also has a black and white picture of an older lady. The picture looks beautiful with a fresh flower. Service is prompt and polite. This is a must visit place for anyone who wants to try something new in vegetarian cuisine.

A must try place in Mumbai for sure. Panki Chatni - amazing, very thin and nicely done rice pancakes served with a great green chutney Moong Dal Chila - amazingly well done, they made it crisp on request. It was really the highlight dish for us Dal Dhokli - was good but very sweet and loaded with tamarind Coconut punch - coconut water and malai blended into this drink l, was so refreshing and nice that we reordered it. Sugarcane Juice - amazing Pani Puri - nice Satpadi Roti and Gatte ki Sabzi - I thought the satpadi roti was a bit oily but was otherwise it was good, gatte ki sabzi was very nicely done and tasty Courteous and friendly staff. Can get crowded at peak times. Limited seating capacity at this location

It's a really awesome place in the business district to take your friend on Gujarati adventure and don't worry about hygiene, it's Swati Snacks....

I love this place even if I have to wait...it's always worth the wait...the variety this place has to offer...do try everything on their menu...whether it's panki aur pav bhaji they won't disappoint you...I love coming here to enjoy a meal....simple and good food..

Old n famous restaurant but over priced. They just want high fi gujju customer..they don't care about middle class customer i noticed. Service was poor to middle class and good to classy gujju. I have visited both Branch of swati snacks...they are known for their paanki n other Gujarati snacks. Taste was good. Price is too much. Otherwise whoever wants to try expensive Gujarati snacks they can visit this place blindly.

The original taste of Gujarati food was something i was looking for. <br/>Some items were good. Most weren't.

Had been told about this for a while as one of the best places in Mumbai  for local favorites. Since it's not a big fine-dine, couldn't really plan to be here. Happened to be in the vicinity of the area and hence, headed here for a quick one. So glad we did! <br/><br/>Ambiance - 3/5 <br/><br/>The overall ambiance is tad better than a typical udipi restaurant (the AC section). It's clean, has open air kitchen and the tables are all wood, no cushions there. Function over form is the mantra. You come here for a quick, lip-smacking meal, not for the experience or a lazy afternoon. <br/><br/>Food/Drink - 5/5<br/><br/>Star attraction and didn't disappoint. It's not just traditional Gujarati stuff but they've added twists to many. For instance, dabeli dhokla is worth a try - not as good as the original dabeli, but the qurikniess factor is nice always. Loved the thalipeeth, besan sabzi and our group reordered the pooran poli. Portions are just right for you to try multiple dishes. The menu is not super vast, hence leaving you satisfied at trying fair bit of it. The malpua was not classy though - supposed to be brown, came out nearly white. <br/><br/>They also do fresh juices which is great. <br/><br/>Service - 3.5/5  <br/><br/>In a place such as this, one usually expects the service to be ultra efficient which it wasn't. There were multiple folks for taking orders but at several times, all of them were doing something in the kitchen. This, when there is a separate staff to deliver and clear the plates was baffling. The captain would try to pitch in during such cases, but then, would handover inefficiently to the main waiter. Not too bad, but could definitely be much better.  <br/><br/>Cost: Approx 500 per person.

Another famous spot for Gujarati food lovers. The famous Tardeo restaurant is now in Nariman Point too. I simply love their Panki with Green Chutney as well as inhouse hand churned Roasted Almond Ice Cream. If you are a morning person who waked up early, then definitely go to one of their branches and take Jalebi Fafda parcel for yourself to relish for the breakfast.

If you are a fan of swati snacks at tardeo but tired of waiting time, do come out to this outlet as it has the same taste and menu and there is very less waiting time as the seating capacity is huge. Do come out here to try gujarati food , some also with a modern twist. The panki is very good out here. Some other of my favourites are fada ni khichdi, paneer lifafa, paneer chilla and bajri paneer pizza. <br/><br/>Updated: <br/>We visited again and had the following:<br/>Panki chutney<br/>Bhel<br/>Dahi batata puri<br/>Sev puri<br/>Cheese mex ( highly recommended)<br/>Steam idli<br/>Sada dosa<br/><br/>Every item was perfect and service is good. Very hyeginic too

Gujarati's favourite spot!<br/><br/>Panki & chutney at Swati.. one of the popular item loved by everyone.. The food here reaches directly to your heart. To be more precise about Panki, its Rice Flour Pancake (Panki) Gujarati dish cooked between banana leaves and It is served with green chilly and coriander chutney.<br/><br/>We also loved the Falafal here.<br/><br/>Really enjoyed the Kala-Khatta Gola.<br/><br/>Their home-made Roasted Almond lce cream is amazing !!<br/><br/>They also serve very nice Jalebi along with gathiya, papaya and mirchi every Sunday morning<br/><br/>The simplicity and the authenticity of Gujarati street food here will make sure you leave with a smile on your face!

I have been here after many years and trust me noting has been changed. Same taste same food yes of course quite a few things have been added to the menu which came to my notice. May be because i came here in couple of years. Food ordered below. 1. Falafel 10/10 2. Panki 10/10 3. Panoli 10/10 steamed wow must try 4. Kand Tikki Chat 10/10 roasted something different go for it .<br/><br/>I just gave a rating of 4 because of the prices for such food where your belly doesn't gets full with these light bites.<br/><br/>Rating from 1 to 10 Promoter 7 - 10 Positive Passive 5 - 6 Neutral Detractor 1 - 4 Negative

The food were excellent. Especially l like the Pani puri, which was crunchy and tasty. I actually ordered the food by Swiggy, so I definitely go to the restaurant next time.
MAYUR
The most striking aspect of this place is cleanliness. It is immaculate n Spotless. Spartan but neat at the same time . The food or snacks whatever you may like to call it, is predominantly Gujrati and delicious. The puranpoli was great , pankis were delicate and nice. The malpudas were heavy and tasty. Each dish is a delightful experience. Worth the visit. 400 per head was the expenditure. Absolute value for.money considering the location in Nariman pt. The kitchen is visible across the glass screen and is as clean as can be. Heartening for those who care. Parking is MCGM and charged. Be careful about fraudsters who charge you without a reciept.

Was here for lunch.<br/>Nice big place, at Dalamal Towers.<br/>Good gujrati food.<br/>We ordered:<br/>Bhel- Tasty<br/>Pav Bhaji- Yummy<br/>Roti- Aloo Shaak- Shrikhand- Amazing<br/>Dabeli Dhokla- Could be better, a bit dry<br/>Dal dhokli- Ok<br/>Coconut punch- nice<br/>Sugar free almond icecream- very good.<br/>Some items were very good and some were okay. Not too many gujrati items, quite a few things we asked for were not on the menu.<br/>Giving it 3.5*<br/>Taste of other items could be made better and tastier. Prices are on the high side.<br/>Could give this place a try.

Same as tardeo branch . More spaced out though !! The bajra paneer pizza 🍕was very tasty & innovative 😍 . The onion rava sada dosa was nice too .
Parin Shah
The malai malpua eaten there was good, but the one that we got for home delivery was stale, smelly and tasted very bad. Please check your parcel before you leave

Maintaining the same SWAAD as their Tardeo outlet, they offer various Gujarati and street food delicacies. Panki Chutney is my favourite dish here :)

This place is an absolute delight. Good ambiance and great good. <br/><br/>Pick anything in the menu and you wouldn’t be disappointed. <br/><br/>Happy eating! Recommended for light to medium snacks.

This place is superb! It is located at Nariman Point. Fantastic menu! This place is famous for it's chaat, gujarati food and other traditional food. Let me share with you what we ate. We had the famous dabka kadi ( yogurt based kadi with dumplings soaked in it) with coconut rice which was outstanding, next we tried the potato handvo which was superb it was a snack made of a combination of mashed potatoes and layers of a peas preperation in a dhokla form. We tried the dabeli which was again fantastic, we tried the cheese masala pav and totally loved it. Between 3 to 6 they serve masala tea with bajri chips, trust me the tea is fabulous served in beautiful glass mugs. We tried the dahi vada which was so soft and just perfect. Lastly we had the puran poli and sitaphal ice cream for dessert and we loved it. The service in this branch is amazing and they have very friendly staff. Lovely spacious place and comfortable seating arrangement. I definitely will recommend you to visit swati snacks for its lovely food as its great place to visit for a meal and for tea and snacks

This is an evergreen place. They have maintained their taste and standard pretty well. The chaat here is to die for, and the best thing about it is that it is CLEAN...<br/><br/>My recent visit to Swati Snacks was with a colleague. The first thing we ordered was the Dahi Puri which is amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness. Also ordered the Dal Dhokli which was good too but a little too sweet for my taste. Next, what we ordered was the star of the day Sadpadi Roti with Yoghurt curry ohh my godd.... this dish is a must try. It is a nice thick crispy masala roti with the right amount of spices and a very nice curry (Gatte ki kadhi) which really blew my mind. <br/><br/>Also worth trying are their home churned ice creams.. which are slightly on the higher side but very nice, especially the chocolate almond, kesar pista and sitaphal ice cream.

A good Sunday Brunch is the one where you can have homely food with peace and in a good mood. Swati Snacks at Nariman Point, opens at 11:30am and serves amazing Gujarati and South Indian delicacies cooked to perfection. The perfect combination of elegance and ethnicity, Swati Snacks makes traditional food attractive and lucrative.<br/><br/>We had:<br/>Pudina Panki : 5/5<br/>A traditional thin Gujarati pancake, cooked and steamed in Banana leaves. This dish is one of the must haves at Swati and each time we go there, we love to order this one.<br/><br/>Potato Handvo : 4.5/5<br/>Traditional Gujarati Handvo with a twist of Potato shell and green peas filling. This one was a surprise and it was creamy and rich. Topped with crunchy potato sev.<br/><br/>Baked Masala Khichdi : 5/5<br/>We love this one! Pulses and veggies baked into a Khichdi with dahi on top. The dahi had a lovely texture and quality like cheese and this is truly one awesome Indian Baked dish.<br/><br/>Our brunch was perfectly accompanied by lemonade. Swati Snacks is light on the pocket as well as the stomach. They serve healthy, tasty and filling food which makes Sunday brunches with family ones you always remember.
Soumya Shivkumar
Had Pudina panko and falafel. Both were good.<br/><br/>Didn't like sev Puri though. Nothing to beat the thela wala in my galli for that.<br/><br/>So thumbs up for traditional gujju food. Ambience and service was excellent.<br/><br/>Found it a little overpriced.
JayR
Best Pani Puri ever!! As you can see in the picture, the Swati Snacks version comes fully loaded. With ingredients and taste! <br/><br/>This place is clean, has ample seating (depending on when you go, I was there at 16:00), and good service. Not done with just the superb Pani Puri, I also had the Daal Dokla. It was my first time trying this, and I liked it very much. <br/><br/>Obviously a second, third, fourth (and so on) visit is due to this place. Until then, the rating stays!

My kids favourite place for “panki” and “chocolate Oreo “ icecream. The only place they want to come back and is their reward for achievements. A must for all<br/>Children
Vratin Shah
Located in Nariman Point with commercial offices all around, the place is popular with families as well and is crowded most of the time. The ambiance is ordinary. The food is great with different varieties available. Something different then other restaurants. But, the quantity offered is less compared to the high price charged. Overall a must try place but be prepared to shell out a lot.
Piyush Gupta
Swati snacks is a quiant little place for amazing Chaat and parsi-gujrati inspired cuisine. When some one is visiting us, this is the place we take them if we are in South Bombay.<br/><br/>The dahi chaats and the shrikhand are to die for. The place is clean and hygiene is maintained not only in food preparation but by waiters and managers as well.<br/><br/>Highly recommended for a family visit.
Priyanka Gupta
Went for evening snacks but almost had entire dinner at this place. Ordered dahi batata Puri, panki, masala panoli, thalipith, dabeli dhokla, pani Puri and sugarcane juice. Everything was super yummy execpt for dhokla. Panoli and dahi Puri were the best. Service and ambience is not upto mark as per pricing rest food is at it's best.
Dkile
Ordered misal, got ragda :(<br/>Pav bhaji was good. Filter coffee was milky. Would have been a 4 but the silly misal they served brings down the rating.
Anupam Moondra
Great place to eat. Must be very busy during weekdays. Suggest to go over the weekends though waiting time of 15-20 minutes should be considered. A basic sitting area with no designer interiors but is compensated by good food. Different food and variety in taste makes this place a must visit for a food lover.
Rashna Mistry
Ordered the aamras today and it was the worst that I’ve ever eaten, I had high expectations from a place serving authentic Gujarati food but it felt that someone had Poured water into it, poor taste and terrible consistency

Try the Pankhi, sugar cane juice, dosa, pav bhaji, cheese mex is really yummy also the moong chilla is a healthy options. Can’t go wrong with this one.
Sandeep Samtani
Had a early snacky dinner at Swati. Ordered their signature panki with chatni which was excellent. This was followed by their dahi batata puri which was also top notch. This was followed by dessert which was their malpudha with cream. The dish was very heavy with the cream. Nice service clean ambience. Bit overpriced compared to other places but their quality makes up for it.

It is very fast in service.👍🏻<br/>I have tried Pav Bhaji,Bajri Paneer Pizza,Handvo,Pankii,Fada Khichdi,Paneer Chila,Roasted almond cream,Supri etc on my several visits its just wow!<br/>Although they provide very less quantity compared to other restaurants.<br/>Bit expensive compared to quantity they provide😀
Shivam Juneja
Quantity is very less whatever you order. But the taste is amazing. Everything is so clean and hygienic you'd never mind paying for that. Service staff was friendly and coordination was good. They also have special dishes for every day. Plus that mango ice-cream was mouth watering.
Disha Thakuria
Delicious food! The taste is good because of the flavors they add and the way the dish is cooked. The food wasn't oily, was cooked they way we cook at home.<br/>The entire place was sparkling clean!<br/>Must visit for vegetarian food lovers.<br/>

Swati snacks is a very old and busy restaurant in south bombay. After a long wait on a weekday we got a table. The feel of the restaurant is welcoming and homely. Some of the things we order were:<br/>Methi dhokla chat- 4.5/5 (they served it with kadhi) awesome innovation.<br/>Panki chatni- 4/5 dominant garlic taste but still great.<br/>Makai Handvo- 4/5 amazing innovation again just a little sour.<br/>Khichdi kadhi and bateka shak- 5/5 - loved the khichdi<br/>Nimbu pani was amazing but falafel was a strict no no. <br/>Overall excellent food and service, surely need to explore it again to try out more stuff.

Good Taste With Desi Foods.<br/>But I find it very expensive!<br/>Sugarcane Juice was Rs.175/- per glass!<br/>I would not recommend this place as regular go to restaurant.

A great place for some traditional Gujju food in the heart of SoBo, Swati is a must try. The place is neat and tidy and the service is really quick. Don’t miss out on the famous Panki Chatni, Cheese Mex and Shrikhand, Alu Bhaji and Beida Roti! Delightful!

My first visit to this outlet after several visits to the original tardeo one. Normally I do not like to write a negative review but this experience saddened me. 5.30 in the evening a deserted Swati although I felt happy that knowing service of Swati we would get excellent service. We order one Dahi missal ( the dahi was warm rather then hot ) sent it back after exposing the one who took our order but second attempt was also fruitless. , moong daal chilla the chutney different in taste as it was warm. Reply given it’s the way it is. We kept it out so serves it. Ponk Bhel could do better if served cold. Not only did we have to ask the server to get chili’s like 4 times but also noticed the staff quarreling within themselves. Very unlike the experience one has always at the original place. Feel sorry for the promoter.s. Lucky the tea was good. Thanks for that.

Swati snacks is an old and famous chain in mumbai. Good ambiance and neat and clean place. I had their undhiyu Which was nice and different . Their coconut punch was really good to taste as well . Must try their web puri also. I loved their filter coffee too . <br/>If you want to have good Gujarati food you must try this place . Quick service and neat and clean place .

Very unique menu. I have tried a few things here and they all taste good. One of the must do places in Mumbai. The Gujrati Pankhi and baida roti are must try.<br/>

A vegetarian place like this can never disappoint a hardcore non-vegetarian. They really keep it spick and span. <br/>Best place for. Evening snacks in town!<br/><br/>What all to try-<br/><br/>Dahi batata puri - 5/5, best ever!<br/>Handwo - 3/5, was okay<br/>Khichdi with aloo curry and papad - 5/5 amazing, must try!<br/>Paneer mint roll - 4/5, the filling is really good but too minty, paneer and mint lovers can try!<br/><br/>We tried almost everything from the menu but these are the highlights of the place!<br/>

Been a huge patron of Swati . The thing is the last meal I had there ordered the ghee roast Dosa , there was a huge insect on the top , management did nothing to rectify the problem when I complained . Was extremely disappointed with the over all experience for the first time . Please think twice before going there now .

Swati snacks is the one of the food joints with limited ordering options but mouth watering dishes. Bedai roti with shrikhand is a must try.

First bad experience here. Ordered Khichdi and after 15 minutes they say it’s over. Idli looked like it was made in morning. Heated and served. The jwahar roti had a nice long strand of hair in it. The undhiya has just potatoes.

The pav bhaaji was great - freshly prepared and full of favours. The filter coffee was also well done. Ambience, as is well known by now, was amazing. The place looked hygienic and the staff were very friendly.<br/><br/>Of course, the prices are on the higher side, but I am guessing that was lack of research on my part that the money I spent on the food here is pinching me. <br/><br/>Still, nothing takes away from how good the food was! :)

Yummy...isn't the word. Tried almost all the dishes here while I've visited this place for the 1dt time. Taste is too good. Good staff, good ambience and over all a very good experience.
Tables Of Bombay
I’ll be honest Swati needs to up their game. The place is hygienic and clean and while that’s super important- the food needs to be the reason you come jack to the place. It’s strictly okay for now. The most fail proof option on their menu is their<br/>Puranpoli, it never disappoints. Everything elee is a hit and miss.
Dolly Morjaria
This place is a haven for gujurati cuisine. Am so in awe with it. Kand Chaat is from thier special menu. Kand is called Purple Yam. It's has no such taste of its own but with curd and coriander it's yummmy. And the tiny long wafers to top it was the X factor. You will find jain options. Ask for special menu of the day. <br/><br/>Food : 5/5 <br/>Service : 5/5 <br/>Ambience : 3/5 <br/><br/><br/>

Amazing food cooked in authentic style. Looking forward to my next visit already. It’s my to go to place whilst in Nariman Point, most times. Loved the dishes I had. Shrikhand was balanced and perfect. Awesome!

If you are looking for some good gujrati food or maybe a Bombay local cuisine this is the perfect place since ages! We had panki chatni its a rice pancakes steamed in a bananA leaf a must try here! Their dahi batata puri was also delicious. Next time in mumbai I’ll try their pao bhaji which is one of my favourite! Don’t forget to enjoy this meal with a glass of sugarcane juice or a filter coffee.

I didn't expect such a blunder with Gujarati food. It's a very good fusion and a different taste.<br/>We got a warm welcome as they knew us from previous dinings, the place is usually crowded because of famous quality food they serve.<br/>Reservations are recommend.<br/><br/>The servers are very polite and professional, they recommend you according to your needs and taste. The service is quicker than expected.<br/><br/>Coming to food, in the 2 days we tried almost the entire menu. From khichdi to sugarcane juice, everything was on point.<br/>The food served here has its own uniqueness. Its fresh and has a very weird twist to it but its not at all bad.<br/>Being a gujurati, getting bored from normal food this place was a boom.<br/>Especially the dhokla dabeli, superhit.<br/>The entire menu is worth a try, every dish you see is something different.<br/>Worth one visit atleast for anyone.

Thalipith Pitla is surely recommend. It's was really very very yumm and makes a great combination with kesar lassi. Masala dosa is also good.

I'm a Gujrati but not that big a fan of Gujrati food. I was suprised when I visited this restaurant and figured that they not only have amazing Gujrati food but other type such as Mediterranean and all also. My fav here is paneer lifafa. Must try.

I always thought Gujarati food was definitely not my thing ! Until I decided to try The famous Swati snacks at Nariman point !We tried their most famous “Panki “ with a finger licking green chutney and mirchi ka achaar ! So light and so delicious! You would always want to go back for more ! They have a great variety of options for vegetarians and have been winning hearts for over 50 years now ❤️

Went on a working day during lunch. We decided to try South Indian food. We ordered Rava dosa and mysore dosa. The dosa was crispy, chutney was spicy and sambar was not sweet. The ambience was good and the staff were courteous and food was delivered on time. Would definitely visit the place to try gujarati food one evening.

Just happened to walk into Swati snacks after a good long walk along Nariman point. Have never heard of this restaurant before but since I crossed its path, thought I will try it. <br/>Could see a long line of folks waiting for a table, then I thought that this restaurant must be something.<br/><br/>Greeted wonderfully by the service personnel who guided me to my table. The menu was short & well planned. I ordered for moong dal Chilla & fada nu khichdi. Never tried or tasted these items before. <br/><br/>Believe me when I say this, it was amazing. Great taste, great quantity & great quality 👌🏼😍 Had kala-khatta & almond ice cream after food which was street-style super yum.

The best Chaat and Icecream I ever had !!! The experience was made better by courteous staff and focus upon cleanliness. Since, I am allergic to potato, staff offered me a dish prepared with Karande Yam (air potato) which is similar to Sev-Batata-Dahi-Puri but a lot tastier and unique. We loved Panki Chutney and word delicious can be best experienced by tasting their range Icecream.

Lovely ambience, courteous staff, very expensive food for the quantity they serve. But the quality is too good and relishing. The ice creams are real treat.

This is place is bigger than the Tardeo outlet and the service too seemed better. The food is really awesome, especially the in-house ice creams.

Im a fan of their panki & sugarcane juice. Their dosa is good too. They have some specials on & off which are also worth ordering. Good place to eat if your tired on the usual restaurants.

Good food n fusion, but the price and the quantity is absurd .. Very expensive for a casual fast food joint especially when the place n menu is made in that fashion

Home made food feeling!!!<br/>Have tried their pav bhaji( best home made style), dahi batata puri, pizza(health minded) and dosa.<br/><br/>South indian food needs improvement. Sambhar was not the way it is suppose to be.<br/><br/>Good ambience, prompt service and hygienic food!!<br/><br/>Will definitely come again for other varieties!!

Nothing fantastic and is way overrated<br/>The sugarcane juice worth 20 Rs is sold for 175 Rs<br/>Please donate money to charity instead of wasting here. The quantity for shrikhand bedai roti is not even enough for a single person and they fleece 315 Rs for the same.

Neat, bright and open place. Ordered the Suva Panki, Paneer Chila and Ghee Roasted Dosa. Dosa was crisp. Paneer chila (2 Pcs per plate) was tasty. But the Paneer was very bland and dry. Should have been heated rather than stuffing it raw <br/>Suva Panki was different. <br/>Sugarcane juice was fresh (fortunately no ice added). Filter coffee was great. <br/>Nice experience.

The only one thing about swati snacks is “”””” Heaven”””” one of the best places ever visited by me. The panki chatni, bhel, dal-dholi, sugarcane juice and sitaphal icecream was just too good. Super fast service. Best place in mumbai for authentic Gujarati food. <br/><br/>Keep up the quality

Fantastic and affordable (for Nariman Point) veg food. Their Sev Puri is great. Watch out for their specials on the wall! Ambiance is very bright but it's spotlessly clean. I love the massive window so you can see everything that's going on in the kitchen.

Looking for a place for a quick snack?<br/>This place is a small place with amazing food!<br/><br/>If you ever visit this place, do try their Panki Chatni😋<br/>It's a savory rice pancake!<br/>It's a very light and tasty dish<br/>Also, I'm sure that you'll need more chutney because it's yummm<br/>Well, the filter coffeeeeeee is a must try 😍😍 I love coffee and I loved their coffee 😋😋

Really simple and good authentic food....<br/>Prompt service<br/>Courteous staff<br/>Really calm and soothing ambiance<br/>Not cheap but not expensive too<br/><br/>Good option to satisfy your hunger ..especially if you are not in a mood to have a proper meal....and want to have different items to munch and fill your belly<br/>

Amazing is the word! Ordered Panki chatni, Ratalu Handvo, Paneer Chila and Malpua. Malpua was dripping with ghee, but worth the carbs! (I usually don't like the taste of ghee obvious in the food, but this was an exception!) Service was good and we didn't have to wait much. Visited the place on a weekday, was still crowded by 8 p.m.<br/>Would highly recommend to people who'd want to try Gujarati food! Loved it! 😊

Visited this place again yesterday.....however felt that some of the simple preparations were priced a bit higher ... may be bcos of the premium location......

I have a heard great things about this place and was surely not disappointed on my 1st outing. The location needless to say is great with ample parking available for a weekend evening. The decor of the place was very plain and Office like but they have some unique dishes on offer. We tried <br/>- samosa kadhi (4/5) ...it was nice but had a little extra salt for my taste <br/>- shrikhand, bedai roti and Alu shak ...of which all 3 were nice ...shrikhand was a treat. I only felt that the roti was not that light on the tummy although very tasty (4.5/5) <br/>- Sugarcane juice (5/5) ...one sip took me to my childhood days ...what more can I say <br/>Swati snacks was surely a unique place and has a big palate of things on their menu and I would surely love to come back <br/>

One could never go wrong with this place! <br/><br/>Some of my favorite things to eat here - <br/>• Baked Masala Khichdi <br/>• Pankhi Chutney<br/>• Dahi Misal <br/>• Dahi Puri <br/>• Roasted Almond Ice Cream <br/><br/>The seating arrangement is better than the Tardeo outlet. However, there’s always a waiting on a Sunday evening and the food is definitely on a pricier side. <br/><br/>I will keep returning, nonetheless. <br/><br/>

This is my all time favourite place to go, I have been to both Ahmedabad and Mumbai outlets and the quality they maintain is great. Panki, dabeli, thalipit pitla, pav bhaji, khichdi, coconut puch etc all are amazing.. special mention to malpua, it is simply awesome.. must try!

Went to the Nariman Point outlet on Sunday and was happy to find enough seating. The place is bigger than their Tardeo outlet.<br/>The Pankhi and sugarcane juice were as good as always are. This time tried different stuff which have never had before at Swati. <br/><br/>Sunday special Ghee Roast Mulgapudi dosa was super crisp and awesome. Even the plain Ghee Roast dosa was very crisp and yummy ... full of Gheeeeee!!! <br/><br/>Paani poori was good too ... paani being quite spicy and tangy. The dahi poori (with aloo) was also very yummy. Also tried their dahi Bhalla (the Bhalla is not made of udid dal and hence easy on your stomach). The quality of curd in the dahi poori and the dahi Bhalla was extremely good.<br/><br/>Ordered plain cheese pizza for my little one and it was just like our home made pizza... good the kiddos.<br/><br/>Tried their Jain Pav bhaji and that too was pretty decent.<br/><br/>Do Ask for their special mango chutney (it is normally served only with the moong dal chilla) and it is awesome.<br/><br/>In the dessert tried thei malai malpua... it’s different from the normal one I.e. they make a roll<br/>Of the malpua and the malai is stuffed in the roll and the dish is served hot. Also tried their home-made ice-creams - sitaphal and Kesar pista and would recommend (personal preference is Sitaphal).<br/><br/>Must try place at least once.
Bhoomi Kanakia
Swati snacks has been my family and my all time favorite place. We totally love the panki here. There's no single dish at Swati we don't like. The food is healthy, clean and very tasty ♥️

Located at dalamal house on free press journal<br/>Road this place is best when it comes to different variety of food. Panki is a must try. I love their bajri panner pizza. Thin crust and as healthy as it gets. Also do try their satpuri roti and gatte ki sabji. Their filter coffee and South Indian items are also decent.

Swati snacks always leaves you in a good mood. It is the exact definition of comfort food. It is one of my favourite go to places on Sundays. Their dahi batata puri, fada khichadi, and tex mex are few of my favourite things there to eat.
Swati Chitalia
Nice huge place with Bright lights .. more spacious than their Grant road branch and it was much needed. It’s a gujju place with select snack items like panki, chila and South Indian Idli dosa. Mini meals like Dhan Saak etc are also available. Pretty good taste. Little on the sweeter side. They have variety of Icecreams which are usually of unique flavors. Food was good. Drinks like sugarcane Juice and coconut punch were also good. Icecream was okay. Not worth the price. <br/>Overall on the expensive side.

Got to know about this place through Zomato. I did struggle to locate the place as the lanes are quite confusing.<br/>The first thing you notice is their kitchen. They have kept the interiors very simple and the white walls gives it a classy look. The service is prompt and staff is courteous.<br/>The menu is limited but the quality and quantity of food is good. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Do visit if you're around and want to munch on Gujarati snacks.<br/>The pricing is a bit high and hence 4 stars.
Manan Singhi
Spectacular food. Ordered almost everything on the menu and nothing disappointed me. The staff is friendly and attentive. Chaats, panki, Dosa, and everything else in between is value for money and hygienic. Getting place on the weekends will be a challenge even though there is construction going on all around. This really tells you how popular the place is. Highly recommend if you're in this part of town.

This is one all time favorite. And having it so close by to home helps. Went there after very long though, cause had so many new ones on my list to go to. <br/><br/>The food as usual was great but what I found different this time is that there’s a huge amount of garlic overpowering the flavors in the dishes which makes it a bummer. Also, the amount of oil Seema visibly more. <br/><br/>We had :<br/><br/>1. Bajri Pizza with Paneer : 5/5, excellent execution to make a low cal gluten free pizza which tastes like the regular version. <br/><br/>2. Vatana, Muthiya & Papad Shaak with Jowar Roti : 4.99/5, would have given it a full 5/5 but for the excess garlic. <br/><br/>3. Filter Coffee : 5/5, one of the better ones I have had and it’s served with these yummy South Indian yellow banana wafers which have been fried in coconut oil. Delicious!<br/><br/>4. Masala Pav : 5/5, very moist and filling by itself. <br/><br/>All in all great as always. And surprisingly and inadvertently has so many gluten free options on the menu.
Surbhi Bansal
Being surrounded by a bunch of Gujarati friends, I have tried most of the dishes on the menu.<br/><br/>Panki, Coconut punch and Jowar Pizza ought to be my favourite of all.

Yipppeee , swati snacks one of best snack outlet in midst of town.<br/>had best of delicacies like Ragda Pattice, Kachori/Samosa/Bhajia Platter, Delicious mouth watering wada pav combo with special chhutney.<br/>Also had hands on Panki Chutney another speciality of swati.<br/><br/>To top the taste buds had requested a seperate platter of mouth watering kachori, which usually they dont serve but having a good manager like sachin helped us.<br/><br/>Too good courteous staff & one of most reputed management helps such outlets make us strive for more foodilicious outings :)<br/><br/>Keep munching 🎉🎉🎉<br/>

For those craving good quality chat, this is the place to be.<br/>Must try Satpadi Gattu na shak, Paneer Chila, Paneer Lifafa and Dahi bata puri.<br/><br/>Great service and a very clean place, especially one with such low prices and only chat on the menu.
Chhavisharma021

Nice place to visit but actually overrated .<br/><br/>If you see the main attraction of Panki dish actually it’s different but chatani is ok ok and other dishes are good but over priced

Salads & smoothies are my lunch staples on workdays but whenever I crave tasty, non greasy Indian food, Swati snacks is one of my goto places. Whether it is baked khichdi, panki, moong dal chila, bajra uttapam or makai handvo, the food is hygienically and expertly prepared, the spices are balanced and the taste good. A good value for money place.
