It one of the best rooftop restaurants in Mumbai!
A great experience for a weekend party, date night or a special occasion. The experience would get a bit watered down if you don't get a table with the view, still overall this is a fantastic place to be at for an exclusive fine dine experience.
I did however feel the food was a bit lacking, in taste. Tried a lot of dishes on their a la carte menu and they were just okay.
And of course since it is in a luxury hotel, the price point is as expected.

We went to this Roof top bar on our last day in Mumbai. I booked the table online. I got a call from Staff they can hold reservation for 15 minutes and one is allowed only for 2 hours then need to shift to bar 😅
Google shows the location outside St. Regis so don’t follow the google maps just go to St. Regis 38th Floor taking the right entrance.
Prices of food and drinks are fine if you compare other roof top bar in India or outside india. Views are amazing. Definitely recommend this if you looking for amazing skyline views of Mumbai

Asilo is one of the best sky rooftop lounge with a beautiful scenic city and sea view from the top at 38th Floor.
The Ambience was really great with soft music . Perfect for a dinner date.

Rooftop restaurant / bar on the top floor of St. Regis. Amazing view, and that obviously is the highlight. Limited options on food, and it's not amazing, but not bad. Drinks are decent. Since it's open rooftop, also tends to get hot and sultry (in their defense, they have coolers, but still).
And of cos, super expensive.
Overall, I would go there maybe once for an experience, but not likely I'll go again.

I visited Asilo on 25th June 2023 with my family. We had made a reservation online and got a confirmation call from the staff but we had to cancel the reservation due to minors not permitted after 7.30 pm . As we visited St.Regis We went to Asilo just for viewing .
The lounge is on the 40th floor of The St. Regis Mumbai and offers a stunning view of the city lights. The decor is classy and elegant, with comfortable seating and a DJ playing upbeat music. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional.
We had a fabulous short time at Asilo and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chic and cozy place to unwind with great food and drinks. It is definitely one of the best rooftop lounges in Mumbai.

But the real highlight of the meal was the pork belly. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy interior. The flavor was outstanding and it was the best pork belly I have ever tasted. The dish was beautifully presented and served with a variety of sides that complemented the main course perfectly.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of a stunning view, delicious wine, and outstanding food, especially the pork belly, makes it a must-visit destination.

Excellent food, ambience and quality. To reach the restaurant you need to climb 2 floors as the lift only takes you to the 38 floor while restaurant is on 40th floor. If you are travelling with senior citizens just keep that in mind. Quantity is nice, you get I think 6 pieces of the starters. Not extremely overpriced but definitely a bit expensive as it belongs to a 5-star hotel. That's all. Must visit restaurant if you enjoy rooftop views

Excellent upscale resto-bar offering good city views and ambience. Unfortunately the rooftop was closed but not complaining given Mumbai weather. Courteous staff, delectable food (5 stars for the food), and great music make this place worth experiencing. The cocktails were a bit of a let down.... But they do serve a wide range of liquors otherwise if you are up for it!

The staff is very hospitable and one of the best restaurant to see the beautiful skyline of Mumbai...a must try restaurant and ask your server for the best wine to pair with your meal....the restaurant's General Manager, Ashley is extremely knowledgeable with the selection of Wines and Cocktails....
Kudos to the staff and the manager for making it one of the best restaurants in Mumbai, it's worth every penny...

Probably one of the sexiest 5star hotel in city. You can get the good view from the 40th floor but not the best about the view they could have done better. Food is good. Take your girl to this place for a date and she will surely never forget it thats the beauty of this place.

#Asilohairymeals Expensive fine dining restaurant where you have a good chance of finding hair in your food and when pointed out the response being that given the open air ambiance hair and other particles tend to float into your food so the restaurant cannot be held responsible, great view ..average food awful service and good chance of finding a unwelcome surprise in your food, so dine at your own peril :-)

The food hit the sweet spot between creativity and taste. You could discern every exotic element in the dish, and yet they came together beautifully. We especially loved the avocado crostini and the five herb ravioli. The ambience was good and the staff was knowledgeable. We had a great evening!

Me and my wife came for Dinner and Very nice place to hangout... nice ambience,view. The staff was very polite. Mr.Nikhil served us and suggested the menu according to our taste.

For matters of love that don't get sorted on the ground floor might just get sorted on the 38th floor!! Atleast mine did!! ��
Food and drinks are expensive. No surprises here. But totally worth it when celebrating a special occasion I feel.

Outstanding food. Personal recommendations- chargrilled chicken, kung pao chicken satey, 4 cheez flat bread, raviolli and tiramisu. Cant say abt the view as i went on a rainy day and it was all covered. Food is a bit expensive but ya its worth trying �

Not just BAD, but my second consecutive "HORRIBLE" experience at Asilo.
Was entertaining guests both the times.
The first time they punched in Rs.4,50,000/- instead of Rs.4500/- on my credit card. Luckily the amount was too large to be accepted and I got a fraud call from the Bank instantly. Had it been a smaller difference, maybe even Rs.50-60,000 they would have got the money.
The second time takes the cake. Here is the sequence of events:
• Drinks were ordered and served pretty quickly. All tasted nice- Sangria, a Warm Toddy and a couple of beers.
• Food menu was requested from 4 different people and was not available for over 20 minutes. When it was delivered by one, another server promptly came and took it away.
• Took forever to get the food ordered.
• Then out of 2 dishes, one of them being Veg platter was replaced by a Non-Veg platter only to wait another 20 minutes to get the same rectified.
• Now comes the best part- the bill came and they had charged me for the brandy that is an ingredient of the Toddy, only to realise that they claim to have used one of the most expensive Cognac's in the WORLD, a Remy Martin 30 YEAR OLD-without asking or informing us. I do not think that even the most expensive restaurant in the world uses this for a Toddy, with or without asking.
In my opinion, a SCAM. No way visiting again. Wish the service and intent would match up to the ambience and the view which would make it worth it.

When we call for reservation please don't lie that reservation is not necessary...and den u give us high raise tables which are damm uncomfortable... that spoiled our first anniversary thou... late service and not many options for food... poor hospitality... only good thing is view...ty
