Cocktails:
Mumbai addiction: I had Mumbai addiction which comprised of vodka, cranberry juice, lime zest, sweet and sour mix.
It was sweet and tasty just like a cranberry vodka.
Toofani: also had toofani which comprised of spiced dark rum, Cointreau, orange juice and cinnamon.
The drink was very refreshing as in winter citrus gives that much needed kick.
Cheese Kurkure kabab: it was crumbly kabab style cheesy just right. It was like a namkeen cookie crumbling in your mouth and the green chutney that accompanied it was so fresh!!!
Paneer sharabi had vodka on paneer with fired up vodka. The paneer was nice and firm with an after taste of vodka. When he torched the vodka it gave the paneer a crispy edge and a dash of charcoal taste.
Varqui paratha and cheese onion kulcha
Both were decent.
Dal malkhani was nice and tangy. However, a suggestion: add more of the makhan piece and make it thicker.
Shahi paneer was well done and the gravy was sweet and thick. It filled the mouth.
Chocolate golgappa with basundi shots
The idea of it is great. The golgappa was made of pure milk chocolate and the rabbari was so good like it was thick with just the right amount of sugar and when I popped the golgappa in my mouth with the rabbari it was the best blend I had!
Nilesh Kari was manager. Very friendly and talkative about history of place and whatever questions we had. Special mention of our server Suraj who was prompt in service and friendly too. Suggested the dishes and they were good. Last but not the least mention of the chef virendra yadav who came out to talk to us about the dishes.
Loved the ambience. Good place to click lots of instagrammable photos. Taste of starters and main course were okay. Loved the service, the serving individual was so humble and friendly. Food was not that good, fair affirm. Found malai icecream too expensive for the amount served.
