The place serves really good south Indian food.being a south India myself my expectations was really high and trust me the place serves really good south Indian snacks ..I have tasted most of the items there and have to tell the flavor of the south is definitely there which is hard to find in a place like Mumbai
The Ghee dosa is just awesome and the onion Rava masala is also equally good
If u want something light in the mornings they serve really good pongal and wada..the upma is also good
Finally the tea and the filter kapi is must try
So if u are in Chembur definitely recommend this place!
Awesome authentic South Indian lunch..bit crowded but worth the food. Tried the mysuru pak which I loved too. Heaven food. The staff at the billing was a bit cranky.
After a long hold i could finally Pay a Visit here for breakfast. This one is located in small lane making it hard to find parking so rather take a auto. It's best to visit them during breakfast hours and dont be surprised to find waiting as the place was literally full house on weekend morning. Also be ready to share tables. Once your order is taken, it doesn't takes much long to find the delicious south Indian items on your table. It's worth a visit for sure
Very nice homely food. Very good taste .Very good attitude. staff caring. Charges are reasonable. You can have your family lunch without hesitation,if you are ok with good south Indian homely food.

How better can a weekend morning be than walking into a south Indian restaurant and gobble breakfast!
The place was crowded making us wait for our turn. The wait gets rewarded by the fresh breakfast items served hot. The Pongal rice was nice and tasty with sambar and chutney. The onion #uttappam was awesome. The game changer was the rava masala dosa sprinkled with pure clarified butter. Well, ghee is the crown jewel of the south Indian cuisine. Medu vada and dosa were soft and tasty. Missed the Puri bhaji as the stock got over. A #tumbler of hot tea marked the end of an awesome morning food ritual.
Cheers!
I heard so much buzz about manis from my friends that on the last weekend i finally made it. Surely good for snacks like vada, idli, dosa and uttappam but south indian traditional meal is not exactly my kind of food.
A very simple south indian place with good service and simple seating arrangement. The service is very good and the people are quite humble to the customers. The food is fresh and one of the best tasting south indian dishes I have had so far. I am a big fan of Dosas so luckily got to try their Neer Dosa under their speciality menu for Saturday. Definitely recommend to have their filter coffee with every visit!!
The menu at Mani’s Lunch offers a diverse array of options, ensuring there’s something for every palate. I opted for [mention a specific dish you enjoyed], and it was a flavor-packed revelation. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to seasoning made each bite a culinary delight.
The staff at Mani’s Lunch deserves special mention for their warm hospitality. They were attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall positive experience. The cozy ambiance provides a comfortable setting, making it an ideal spot for a satisfying lunch.
Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely lunch, Mani’s Lunch has you covered. The quality of food, coupled with friendly service, makes it a standout choice. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their tempting menu!
South Indian restaurant which serves real SI food items. Sambhar and chutney served with the dosa and uttapam is excellent.
Restaurant is always busy with continous flow of customers. Ambience is good but only issue is the parking. Avoid bringing your own vehicles.
It was a good place to visit with families& Friends, the atmosphere was simply nice 🙂 The hospitality was awesome, Feels like home food. Especially veg food was really good.
Must visit the place.
Good place to have Veg food.
The Authentic Filter coffee was very tasty and a must try.
Limited parking and the restaurant is on a crowded One way Street.
Best place for South Indian food and snacks. One must try filter coffee, it’s awesome in test.
We have tried Mysore masala dosa, Sada dosa, onion Uttapa, tomato uttapa, onion cheese uttapa, rava masala dosa and all were good in taste. True South Indian taste. Tried onion ADAI for the first time and was available on Friday. ADAI is like uttapa in looks and is very tasty.
Taste of Shira is like you must try it once.
Crowded, as usual. But i take it as a sign that the place is heavily patronised by patrons. The food is very good with the coffee being the highlight. Quick service, honest prices and excellent food, what more do you need for a great start to the day ?
After very loong time paid a visit to Mani lunch home if you are looking for authentic udipi restaurant which is light on pocket and however provides quality food. Matunga was the favourite one and use to often visit the place during my early days with my father who introduced me to this Manis. In comparison to Ram Ashray,Anand bhawan in matunga or for that matter Geeta bhavan in chembur I will rate Mani lower however the chembur outlet retains the same aroma and ambience. If you are planning to come by car then parking would be problem as the lane is narrow, if you are lucky you will get a spot near by or you may have to park it at distance. Sometimes during peak hours at ambedkar garden too. Pricing is differentiator, we ordered 2 cheese Mysore sada and 2 masala. One unlimited thali on banana leaves my favourite. One medi wada sambhar all for mere 645.. says a lot during today's time. One observation was in thali they don't provide various coloured chatnis like various other outlets. However my visit was memorable and I was satisfied. Chembur branch Address: Komal Building, 86, Ground Floor, 2nd Rd, Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400071

I love their food , the quality is good Exceptional pasta dishes with rich, flavorful sauces. The cozy ambiance complements the authentic Italian experience. A must-try for pasta enthusiasts.
Nice place for authentic South Indian taste, good variety. Not so fancy and cheaper on pocket. South Indian thali is best and in budget
