The Bandra Project Pizza Express

We visited this place for dinner on Sunday it was quite crowded, but the ambience was pleasant and the decor is superb. The music is good. Perfect place to spend with family and friends over drinks and pizza. The staff were amiable and service was good. Ambience - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 4/5 We ordered Chicken wings with BBQ sauce, it was nice sweet spicy succulent it was served with blue cheese dip. Prawn Alla Penne pasta, served with big prawns the pepper-walnut sauce was delish. Penne Pollo Picante was spicy and creamy and with small cherry tomatoes, it was flavoursome. Pollo Froza, the pizza had a nice crust was cheesy and yum was to nice grilled chicken which was so heavenly. Drinks Paloma, one of our favourites, Sula Riesling and Baileys Irish cream. For the mocktail, Super Sun which was very refreshing. In all this place is worth visiting to try the different pizzas and desserts.

Great food, great location, friendly staff, amazing service and the ambience is to die for! Visited the place with a friend while visiting Mumbai and I tried some smoked salmon and Barbecue Lamb. Both the dishes were to die for. Especially the lamb. So well done and flavorful. Has to be one of the best preparation I ate in a while. :)

Christmas is one of the best time of the year and what better then having an entire Christmas menu to choose from. The Bandra Project has a special Christmas menu curated by chef Vicky which is healthy and also delicious. I loved everything I tried. Sweet potato salad and the falafel salad - both the salads were fresh and delicious. However the blue cheese was missing from my sweet potato salad. Mushroom Mac and Cheese, Spinach Penne, Truffle Mushroom Flatbread.... Loved these three. Flavorful and delicious. Risotto was decent. Could have been a little better in terms of flavor. Loved the Christmas cake and the banoffee cake. Overall the food was good.

Always a treat. Been here post reopening after COVID-19 and it's really different but the food tastes the same. That's a good thing always. The menu is limited only to pizzas and a few pasta dishes but they're as good as before, not better but just about right. Can't wait for the rest of the menu to be made available. Do get your reservation in order due to the limited seating. And last seating is at 2100 hrs now.

The Bandra Project by Pizza Express is simply a heaven for all Pizza Lovers. The prices of the dishes absolutely justifies the quantity as well as the quality. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The ambience of the place was soothing and comfortable. Starting with beverages, I ordered a Super Sun Moctail and Me & Oreo Milkshake. The super sun mocktail was merrily a fusion between pineapple and watermelon poured over honey with a hint of mint. It was delicious and the juiciness of the pineapple and watermelon could be felt in every sip. The flavour of mint added for a little delightful surprise. Me & Oreo, was all about oreo. In simple words, it was the best thing an oreo lover would ever come across. It was not too sweet and the relish of oreo was divine. I, to be honest, fell in love with it. Coming to the pizzas, I tried the Coriander Pesto Chicken and the Pollo Forza. The pizzas looked absolutely stunning and tasted even better. Coriander Pesto Chicken was topped with creamy chicken tikka, onion, green chillies, olive oil and mozzarella that will give you an exquisite cheesy experience . The pesto sauce was fused with rich spices giving the pizza an Indian twist. It was finished with a drizzle of coriander pesto. Pollo Forza, on the other hand, was simply a classic. It was topped with succulent grilled chicken, mixed peppers, jalapeños, mozzarella, finished with emilgrana cheese, parsley and olive oil. The pizza had a spicy edge to it and was one of the finest pizza’s that I have ever had. The base’s of the pizza were thin and cripsy, just the way it is done in Rome. To end on a sweet note, I had Shea’s Favourite Cheesecake and Snow Balls with Nutella. The vanilla cheesecake was baked to perfection and served with mascarpone on the side. It was flavoursome and highly alluring. Snow Balls with Nutella are mini dough balls coated in sugar served with a nutella dip. The balls were soft and rich and the nutella dip contrasted beautifully. It is a must try for all nutella lovers. It was just the perfect end to a satisfying and filling beginning. Overall, my experience was highly pleasurable and worthwhile. This is also a re-edit to my previous review and a lesson that we should not judge anything at the first instance. The place corresponds to the saying, “good food is good mood” amazingly. Food-5/5 Service-5/5 Ambience-5/5 Will I visit again Definitely Yes
