ROOTS OF INDIA
Roots of India is one of the finest place in Andheri which gives you an option of Ala Carte as well as Buffet. The place has ample amount of seatings with nice & helpful staffs. We went for a brunch and the place didn't disappointed us at all.
For the Veg starters we had ordered, "Shangai Rolls", "Veg Balls with Schezwan Sauce", "Achari Paneer Tikaa", "Beetroot Ki Tikki". All the starters were super delicious in taste, the quantity was pretty good. From all these starters are personal favourite was "Veg Balls with Schezwan Sauce" because it was spicy and it tasted delicious and our second favourite was "Achari Paneer Tikka" the was pretty big in size & it was soft & nicely cooked."Beetroot ki Tikki" was something different we tried at Roots of India.
For the Non-veg starters, we had ordered "Dohara Seekh Kebab", "Yellow Mirchi Chicken Tikka", "Chicken Chilli", "Fish Kurkure". All the Non-veg starters was so awesome in taste all were spicy & nicely marinated & cooked. All the starters are our personal favourite.
For the Main Course, there were loads of loads of varieties available from which we had, "Veg Kofta", "Dhaba Di Dal", "Green Peas Pulav", "Indian Breads". In Indian Breads it includes Laccha Paratha & Naan. Veg Kofta was delicious but Dhaba Di Dal was little sweet in taste.
In beverages, Roots of India serves "Kokum Punch" as a welcome drink. Apart from that we had ordered "Adult Shake", "Cosmopolitian", & "Mandarian Monk".
Adult Shake:- It is a Whiskey based cocktails in which they add Nutella and Vanilla Ice-cream. Its a deadliest combination ever and its taste was very unique.
Cosmopolitian:- Cosmopolitian is a Vodka based cocktail in which they add Triple Sec, Cranberry Juice and Lemon Juice. Its very refreshing and the taste of cranberry is just awesome.
Mandarian Monk:- It is a Mocktail in which they add Orange, Coconut Concotion & Vanilla Ice-cream.
Last but not the least, here comes the dessert part. In the buffet there were "Sevaiyaan", "Gulab Jamun", " Assorted Pastries", "Vanilla Ice-cream" & "Tuti Fruity Ice-cream".
Superb outlet in marol.Loved the place and the ambience.Roots of india is one of the finest place for buffet lunch. The music was soo lovely and the ambience was superb. The staffs were soo good. Helped us to select the perfect starter. The food is reallyy soo good
Sanghai rolls and veg balls with schezwan sauce was sooo delicious. The beetroot tikki and panner tikki is recommended. The welcome koccum drink garnished with mint leaves was soo relieving. The buffet platter was yummyyy...Much recommended place
ROOTS OF INDIA!!
Walking in, one immediately feels welcome, with an airy ambience, light lounge music and plenty seating.
Wait staff, Mr. Aqueel has been a great help, too.
A little glimpse into my experience:
1. Shanghai Roll: a re-christened Spring Roll, cut up inch thick. Made fresh and served hot. Works well as a bar snack!
2. Veg Ball Schezuan Style: not as spicy as I would have liked, but the making of the dish was fancy.
3. Achari Paneer Tikka: dish well made, though the paneer could have been softer. Again, a little spice would have helped.
4. Chicken Chilli: soft, fresh chunks of chicken cooked indo - Chinese style, was zingy and more of my spice palette.
5. Veg Kofta: soft, melt in mouth Kofta, rich, thick gravy was a treat in itself.
6. Dhabe Di Dal: fancified Dal Makhani, had a rich, creamy texture, went well with assorted Indian breads.
7. Exotic Veg Oyster Noodles: had an assortment of veggies, cooked to perfection.
Last but not the least, saving the best for the last,
8. 'Adult Shake' 😍: Whiskey, Nutella, ice cream and Hazelnut Syrup. Oh God, heaven in a glass! This cocktail was a One Hit K.O. for me, since the ice cream and Nutella made it sweet. Guess we all know what a sweet tooth does to alcohol 🙈🙈🙈
When I saw it on the menu, somewhere, 12 years old me was screaming. 😜
Verdict: a good place to go to, if you're in the mood for a relaxed meal, plenty of options on the menu to choose from. One of the better experiences I've had, in recent times. Would be back soon. 😇
A great place to Hogg on!
They have a great and cozy Ambiance, a big seating area, live screening, kind hearted staff, and yes, buffet options too (Lunch)...
They have all the things what you are looking for in a restaurant!
The quality of the food is amazing, all the dishes were well cooked and properly presented which was making it more tempting to try 😍
The drinks, they have some amazing combination for both Cocktails and mocktails....my personal Fav was the Margarita which I tried!
Buffet was soo good! It included everything, right from salad, fruits ,starters, main course and till the desserts which had a Paan pastry which was next to amazing!
They have alot of discount offers too!
A great place to be in if you're thinking to be in a party!

My recent visit to this restaurant was marked by a pleasing ambience. While the service was acceptable, the masala papad, unfortunately, remained overly salty even after replacement and lacked flavor. On a brighter note, the dum biryani was a standout, delivering a truly enjoyable taste. However, the unexpected sweetness in the biryani was a surprising and disappointing touch, detracting from an otherwise positive dining experience.
I have spend time with my family and had lunch food quality and quality is good and ambiance is too preety but the veg platter is too expensive and not even tasty they charged 2000 for one veg platter which I don't understand why is so expensive and I paid a bill 4000 for only platters which is unexpected and I will not recommend for starters
And for the same I have to pay the bill of Rs. 8000 so I waste my money in platters
We loved the ambience, the food, the mocktails…. Special mention of Raja who was very courteous and well mannered and ensured that we had a delightful experience
Had been to this place this Sunday. Feel good atmosphere, decor majorly filled with lots of plants. Food is really yummy! Wide range of starters and main course. Dessert section is limited and only area they can improve a bit when its come to varieties
We were a big group of 25 people. Luckily we chose a mid week day so there was not much crowd. But we had to pre book our table. The menu had a good combination of Indian, Chinese and fusion food. Food was great and we tried everything from Dimsum to Dal Khichdi. What can I say..even the Khichdi was so good. Drinks were great as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Overall ok food is good service is slow.
Discount for group is less.
Service tax additional you have to pay.
Price is overvalued and quantity is less according to price. For group lunch i will not advice.
For dating you guys can go and njoy food plus good ambience.
Overall i will rate good

The staff was great and the food was perfect. We had a corporate outing with unlimited buffet meal.
So, I was here for a Sunday brunch. Have always been waiting to try the incredible place. It's an amazing place to spend time with your loved ones. Be it a birthday party, get-together, family occasion, or official lunch, this place stands tall for all of it. The staff is impeccable with all security measurements. Since it was a brunch, you can expect a lot of options from starters to main course and desserts. You can expect a very elite and decent crowd. The ambiance is pleasing with the right seating arrangements which give you the space to breathe and merry. It was a memorable Sunday brunch with talks, glad tidings, and of course the hospitality we got.
