Review Miss T - Mumbai

Harshvardhan Sekhsaria
A place that truly can be called authentic. We had the set lunch which is priced very well and the portions are big for a set meal. The food is really well prepared and I’d give all the chefs 10stars for the food we had. The food is very authentic hence we enjoyed it all the more, the mango curry and pumpkin soup is really well made and goes well with the coconut rice as suggested by Chef Nikhil. The crispy netted vegetables is amazing and must must have. The set meal has a good choice and would definitely recommend it.

MISS T - Restaurant & a Cocktail BAR? Yes you got it correct. Amazing dishes curated from the Asian Golden Triangle which goes well with the Lovely Cocktails. Situated at Colaba Behind the Taj it comes from the same stable who has given us The Table/Magazine St Kitchen/Woodside Inn/The Pantry and Bombay Vintage. Menu consultants on board Bawmra Jap (Bomras Goa), Chef Duc Tran of Mango Mango. Nikhil Abhyankar being the executive Chef. Interiors done well with a T shaped Bar (Compact) here is what we tried yesterday: This place serves some amazing cocktails (Handcrafted specialities) DEMI-MONDE (refined) being one of them which we tried. Gin Based with House made Dry Rose Vermouth, Orange bitters, Lemon Zest and Ghost watermelon. Miss Parker - Comforting (This is their signature cocktail) a mix of Miss T whiskey blend with spice infused Tea lemon. Aromatic all the way topped with eggless foam. Pushing Daisies - one of the best i had. This is Adventurous. TRUFFLE all the way (Aroma) Ricard gives you that hit, Bitters and lemon Zest. Ratel - This is on the spicy/Sour side. J & B with Pineapple a dash of Honey a bit of cardamom, birds eye chilli. Has Spicy/sweet. Coming to Food - Focus on Burmese/Vietnamese and subtle influence of other parts of Asia. Flavourful, lovely presentation. Prices a tad high BUT the best ingredients used. Started with a lovely Coconut & Vegetable Broth Soup (small portion) Subtle/Fresh in taste lovely Texture. Balanced well. Coconuts being the key ingredient with root Vegetables/Cherry Tomato (surprise) though it went well, a bit of bird eye chilli (Hit) and Tofu. Salads - BOMRAS TOMATO/TENDER COCONUT/BURMESE TEA LEAF - all the 3 were lovely. Different texture/taste with bold flavours. Bomras tomato is the signature salad at Bomras (goa) has a blend of Tomatoes/fried onions (crunchy) Garlic a bit of tamarind. This gives you that tangy/spicy taste. TENDER COCONUT was lovely - presentation top notch. This is all about coconut. Fresh tender coconut rested on palm sugar Vinaigrette, pomento a bit of snow peas/Green beans. Subtle in taste. Freshness all the way. Vegetarian Appetizers: Must try the melt in the mouth Crispy Cream Corn Curd. It's all about fresh corn beer battered fried to perfection served with sweet chilli oil. Crispy Netted Vegetable Rolls - Vietnamese, Fried at the same time no trace of Oil. Light/crispy stuffed with diced seasonal vegetables. Soy Dip went well. Here the chef has used Melted rice paper and fried the rolls to get the texture. NON VEG Appetizers - Must try the WOK FRIED CHICKEN TENDERS, loved the balance and flavours. Wok tossed chicken Supremes with black and white Fungus (Mushrooms) a hit of Edamame ginger. Red Chilli and Thai Basil. This is flavours. CRISPY RED SNAPPER ROLLS - something different. Vietnamese. Here the chef has used local red snapper, marinated with sesame/lime and chilli. The same has been rolled inside Nori sheet and netted rice paper and fried. Served with Fish sauce. Lovely balance - comfort. MAINS - get to comfort food. RAW MANGO AND PUMPKIN CURRY with jasmine rice. Hats off to the chef. Curry was amazing. Tangy at the same time full of flavours from Thai basil and lemongrass. Ingredients complimented each other. Coconut Rice with Morning Glory was a good combination as well. This place is known for the coconut rice. Basically steamed jasmine rice infused with coconut cream a bit of garlic/fresh onions/Edamame beans. Morning glory was balanced well. Dessert - CHOCOLATE DACQUOISE, wow. 3 Layer gluten free. Layers crispy (almond flour biscuits) with layers of chocolate Ganache and cocoa cream. This was topped with Fresh berries a torch of meringue. Presentation was fantastic. Raspberry Coatis was icing on the cake. Overall - a small tweak needed as far as Tea Leaf salad goes (Monotonous in taste) besides that can't find in flaw in food/service/hospitality.

Of Woods & Gray. A little cozy causeway chamber of everything nice. Misty (Miss T) is it called by. I always relate & recall every experience with a self composed story. Miss T offers it all - from "art deco" to "gastronomic" experience. A soothe to your eyes. Ambiance - The moment you step in, stand besides the reception; gaze up & there is a skylight. The fine dining concept is divided into two floors with 4 sections. Ground Floor consists of 2 & 4 member seatings with a bar area and 1st floor has family/group space to cherish memories while the windows gives you a dendrophilic feel by surrounded trees. Staircase - Ah! Bird watchers, m sure it will bring a smile on your face. We chose the most secluded place - 1st floor, beyond the beer section. Gastronomy - Food is a Fusion of many things. Science & Authenticity if i think of. This place brings both on your plate for your palette. Their organic farm in Alibaug does the permaculture thing. Food i recommend - 1. Lunch Cocktails Demi Monde - clear gin based drink is dry Cherry Blossom Sunset - dark infused citrus hints of coffee bitterness 2. Smoked Sweet Potato Soup (a must) Rich creamy texture with added pumpkin gives you a aromatic feel. Trust me, you want it more. 3. Salad - Tender Coconut & Smoked Tofu Best grilled tofu so far. 4. For the love of Fungi, Mushroom lovers Try 6 varities of mushrooms stacked together. This is royal. (a must) 5. Black Sticky Rice - May not for all but its something which is anti oxidant rich and creamy texture of rice with added aromas & spices fix it. 6. Desserts - We tried Chocolate Dacquiose without Chocolate Ganache since we were looking for Vegan options. This was one of the fastest hogging ;) Rich Almond cookies layered with fruit cocktail and a red berry sauce. Staff - Courteously informative. They are eager to serve you. In nutshell, this place is a fine dining gastronomic experience suitable for vegans & eco friendly people (steel straw says it all ;)) For visuals, do check out the pictures.

A small & cosy restaurant with great ambiance & music. The food is mainly Vietnamese. The dishes have distinct flavours but not for anyone looking for spicy food. They do have spicy n tangy sauces for those that require it. The Chilean sea bass was excellent as was the chagrined chicken & vermicille with crab meat. The service is good with polite & well informed staff.

Located in quiet lane off Colaba causeway, this place is a hidden gem. Expensive but stays true to cuisines from Vietnam and Burma. Great cocktail list as well!

A hidden gem and definitely the best restaurant in the area. Great drinks, great food, and great service. You will not be disappointed

This place had such delightful food, even the presentation was beautiful. I had no idea what south East Asian cuisine tastes like, there's a variety in it too. So I blindly followed the waiter's advice and ordered some stuff, it turned out to be so fresh and new and very well made. The chef even took reviews so that he can make the food taste better, that shows the will to satisfy the customer's pallette. It's a good place to try out new food, however some may not like a few dishes there as they're not not similar to Indian dishes and almost all dishes have completely different ingredients. Tried the drinks there, they were good too. However the place can feel a little small sometimes, nonetheless, good for hosting office lunches, or going on dates.

Miss T is a chic Southeast Asian restaurant located in Colaba, serving some soul satisfying dishes and craft cocktails. They have recently launched a 5 COURSE vegetarian and non-vegetarian set lunch menu. I tried the vegetarian set lunch menu and it was excellent! Totally worth the money spent and the variety is amazing. What impressed me the most was the range of coconut based dishes/cocktails/desserts that they have come up with. For someone like me who loves coconut, this was a dream come true for me! The ambience is really modernist and I loved the idea of having parts of the roof covered in glass which would let natural light in the restaurant. Coming to our spread:- 1) Coconut and vegetable broth - As mentioned earlier,I love the flavour of coconut and hence every sip of this broth bought immense joy to me! It was so well made! I can go again and again for this broth! Highly recommended 💛 2) Tender coconut salad - Crunchy coconut thins, along with fresh coconut malai, avocados, super seeds, salad leaves... Oh my God! So much goodness in a bowl! It was super healthy and yet very yummy! Surely try this out! 3) Crispy netted Vegetable rolls - Something similar to spring rolls I would say. If experimenting is not your thing then order these and they will be your comfort food. They tasted well so we enjoyed having them. 4) Vietnamese rice paper rolls - lots and lots of raw salad veggies wrapped in thin rice paper rolls. I always enjoy this dish and here too it was made very well. Its like salad only the form is different. A must try from my side. 5) Banh Xeoh - These are Vietnamese crepes as described by our server. They certainly were like savory crepes. Again a very comforting dish. The flavours were not too punchy but very modest and striking. 6) Southern Thai vegetable curry - A very fine tasting curry! Perfect main course. The spices and condiments used were on point. Loved it. 7) Wok fried glass noodles - Tried glass noodles for the 1st time! They are so transparent, it's amazing. Relished them to the fullest! 8) Morning glory (rice) - Another Vietnamese speciality. The rice was so fragrant with the all the seasoning. Brilliant option to compliment your Southern Thai vegetable curry! 9) L'Etranger - The coconut and lemongrass based cocktail that I tried was excellent. Lemongrass flavours were bang on and the juxtaposition with coconut bought about a whole new edge to the drink! 9) Chocolate Daquoise - Saved the best for the last! Gluten free crackers, topped with raspberry reduction, pomogranates and chocolate swirls. Sounds super exotic right! It definitely was a never had before dessert! So exclusive and so light-as-air! Even if you are super full at the end of this heavy duty set menu, you will still be able to devour this dessert! Overall genuinely enjoyed my experience at Miss T and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Excellent. Had the red snapped rolls and a few other appertizers. All of them where superb. Nice ambience. Friendly staff. Will visit again. The only reason i haven't given it 5 stars is that it is a tad on the expensive side. Not a lot. Just a bit

Very flavorful oriental food. Must try the forest mushroom appetizer and the black rice. Though i must say its strange to go back to the same place and find a new restaurant every few years... Apart from that the ambience is lovely.

Miss T is where busaba was located first. The ambience is warm & cosy, good for a date night. The lights r toned down with only focus on tables. Nice interiors, all in all you get a good vibe as you enter the place. They’re also very accommodating towards food allergies. This is my second time here and it’s really yummy and nicely crafted food with great presentation.

1) We started off with prawn & coconut soup - it was a nice balance of flavours, not very spicy just the way we like it. My 4 year old boy loved it too 😊 light & flavourful.

2) Next we had the tender coconut salad - fresh & light on the palate. Really nice & refreshing.

3) Netted veg rolls - this was crunchy and nice filling of veges. It came with this soy dip which was really good.

4) Wok fried chicken tenders - soft & flavourful chicken with different selection of wild mushrooms which added a good texture.

5) steamed sea bass - perfectly steamed fish fillets with ginger n soy dressing & pak choy.

6) king prawn curry with jasmine rice - rich & flavourful curry which goes perfectly with jasmine rice. So comforting.

7) 70 % dark chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet - melt in the mouth mousse with hazelnut bits and raspberry sorbet to compliment it. A meal is never complete without a dessert so thoroughly enjoyed it 😊

All in all, nice meal , everyone was happy. Shall visit again soon.

The Food is pretty interesting. We had a mixed experience.

The starters were average. But the main course which comprised of South Indian Thai Curry with Jasmine Rice was brilliant. It’s subtle flavours really turned the evening around. They need to work on the Dessert Menu.

The food is truly amazing but the fact that we got food poisoned after going there betrays my trust. Which is a shame since the food is really good.

Non descript entrance in a quiet lane in Colaba causeway just walking distance from the rear of the Taj, Colaba Social and Starbucks. Vietnamese cuisine is the differentiator obviously. But no. There is more to this place than the cuisine. The very polite, meticulous and attentive service. Even a speck of broth dropped by my young son was promptly cleaned. Excellent ambience. Clean and tidy setup. All these and the great fine dining experience make it a worthwhile place to visit. Two floors of ample seating, designed well for privacy is a plus. The food primarily is Vietnamese. Be sure to check if you are ok with some raw stuff else you may end up disappointed. The shrimp broth in coconut milk was well prepared. The 🥗 salad in the pic was tasty and Crunchy. The chicken in coconut gravy with truffle rice was well cooked and had a nice unique flavour. The desserts were made inhouse and we're exotic to say the least. The Pana Cotta, dark chocolate mousse in 70% dark chocolate could not have been better. Highly recommended for those who like exploring new cuisines. Looking fwd to the Burmese fare for some Sunday brunch in future.

Miss T served us understated dishes, that were subtle and expertly balanced, where you can taste each and every single ingredient. We were simply blown away by this place. Highly recommended! Their cocktails were also outstanding (aged negroni is a must try)

5 of us had gone for their fixed lunch menu on a week day and were very happy with the food.It was fresh, tasty and well presented. The coconut salad as well as the mango salad were flavourful as were the main dishes and the desserts...worth a visit...though in Zomato it mentions as Rs4000 per couple I think it would be less from what I saw in the a la carte menu.I think the rates have been revised as told to us by our waiter. If it is on Zomato gold i am sure there will be many more footfalls...

The place was well done and in appearance looked well maintained. The service was excellent and the set menu was delicious. We all relished the food and went home happy we ordered a set menu which was delicious and has a five course meal. It is not expensive 1000 rupees for a veg set menu and 1200 for a non veg. I recommend it u will enjoy it A must go!
Lovely ambience, extremely warm and friendly staff. The food is authentic and great options in the menu to choose from.
I loved the dessert, don't remember the name but it had almond cookies with berries, which got over in a minute!

The food is really nice, the place is really small and quaint. Perfect place for a date. The food is on the authentic side just incase you’re expecting anything slightly Indianised.

Had a very enjoyable time at a family dinner here. The decor is understated and elegant. The seating was very comfortable. The service was unobtrusive and helpful for the most part. We'd made a reservation through Eazydiner and were seated without any delay. The veg clear soup and fried corn croquettes were delicious. We got the Laos jungle curry , Burmese chicken curry, crab vermicelli and jasmine rice for our main course. The jungle curry was excellent and everyone at the table loved it. The vermicelli was on point. The Burmese chicken was not as good as the other dishes. It wasn't bad but wasn't memorable either. For dessert we got the superb Yuzu tart and a lovely coconut panacotta with delicate flavours and just the right amount of sweetness.
The plating of each and every dish was beautiful and pleasing to the senses. The portion sizes are small so do keep that in mind and I liked that the waiters were upfront about that when we asked.

There were lots of other interesting dishes on the menu that I'd definitely love to come back and try out.

A delicious meal of Pho Bo, Banh Mi, Soft Shell Crab Salad and more, washed down with a refreshing glass of Bia Hoi beer. The food is super delicious and service is fabulous. The cherry on the cake was the delicious Yuzu Tart.

For all the hype a bit bakwaas. The food is stunning good, I'm sure being the sister of The Table helps the culinary selection. The cocktails are a bit of a miss (T?), the wines are chosen with a pure commerical perspective and they don't have the beer selection of their much better sister Woodside. Service lacks any direction and one gets bored waiting for one's drink. I wouldn't bother getting to Causeway with this one! More expensive than it deserves

Had a superb Sunday lunch here! The food was incredible.. Such good flavors... The purple eggplant, bomras tomato salad (outstanding), laos curry (loved the litchis in it), prawn curry..and then the desserts! The light flavor of the tender coconut pannacota with the sharpness of the passion fruit compote (and a time of orange zest) was to die for! Finally the yuzu tarts (fought with my friend over the last bite of that) with sesame ice cream... Simply have to go back for more!

The staff was very good and attentive without being in your face. When we asked them what time was the last order, they told us not to worry and just enjoy our lunch... Though it was already closing time by then. Didn't feel for even a moment that they were rushing us. Great hospitality! Will definitely go back! Understand they have a Sunday brunch, which I will try next time!

Good food, great service but not going back ever again.
Hair in the crust of my dessert. Wish I took a picture, but unfortunately, didn’t!!!

A wonderful meal; great presentation and fabulous taste ! The Mud crabs were to die for. We also had the crispy pork belly salad and stuffed baby squid. All very yummy. The prawn and Lemmon grass broth was the only disappointment of the evening
Visited them for a delicious Sunday night dinner

What I had ?
Laos curry, egg and truffle fried rice , aubergine stir fry, vietnamese spring rolls

What I liked the most ?
Their egg & truffle fried rice along with Laos curry sent me into a good coma

Pricing : approx ₹4400 for 2 along with drinks

What I thought ?
It was a little more expensive than their neighbouring restaurants but the yummy food seemed worth it.

The vegetarian food was very average. Some things were very bland. The green curry was way below par. Honestly nothing exciting at this place. Only the lemon Tart was good.

Excellent food; mediocre service and ambiance.
Must try the wok fried chicken tenders, Forest mushrooms and Shan tofu and wok fried vermicelli.

The chicken and tender coconut curry with the coconut rice was an excellent combination.

The tamarind pork was nice but not outstanding.

The vegetarian Vietnamese rice paper rolls lacked in flavor and were a disappointment.

Great cocktail bar...

One of the new cocktail bar in Mumbai service craft cocktail with fresh and homemade ingredient will highly recommend this bar for cocktail lovers, bartenders are passionate about their art.

This place has been high on my go-to list and I finally got the chance this weekend.
Beautifully done up place with low lighting and two levels of seating. Comfortable seating so you can enjoy your meal at leisure.
Staff is extremely sweet and courteous.
The food, however, is the star. This is not your standard Asian food. Vietnamese and Burmese cuisine - the food is brilliant! Rich flavours and interesting combinations. Please go here with an open mind and you’ll be surprised. Brilliant vegetarian options as well. Detailed review below.
Their cocktails are really interesting.
We had the Princess Hanh, Happy Mahayana, St. George the dragonslayer, Mukesh Mills.
All were brilliant. However my personal favorite was the Princess Hanh. A very unusual flavour however it tasted amazing. Brilliantly made.
Food review -
We started off with the Bomras Tomato Salad, Soft Shell Crab Salad. Both were beautiful fresh flavours. The tomato salad especially was the most interesting burst of flavours. Must try.
Next we had seasonal vegetables Tempura, Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls, Crispy Red Snapper Rolls, and the rare Beef and Soba. The tempura and rolls are not the usual oil dripping versions. Extremely light yet full of flavour. The sauces that accompany these items were also just amazing. The red snapper rolls with the fish sauce were brilliant!
For mains we had Char grilled Cauliflower, Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, Massaman Lamb Shank Curry, Coconut rice and Morning Glory. Evry item ordered was exceptional. The sea bass melted in the mouth, and the fish skin crisp was a perfect crisp. The Lamb shank was beautifully cooked, the meat literally falling off the bone. The cauliflower with the sweet potatoes, too, was really amazing.
We ended this wonderful meal with some great desserts. The Bomras Tender Coconut Panacotta was light and beautiful with the passion fruit giving it that much required sharp zing of flavour. The Yuzu tart was a surprise, who knew black sesame ice cream would taste so wonderful with a coconut crumble. The chocolate Dacquoise was perfectly stacked, crunchy and full of flavour.
All in all, a great culinary experience. Extremely satisfied tastebuds and a very happy tummy!
Cheers to the brilliant team behind Miss T!

The ambience is fantastic! Low Lighting, chilled feel to the place. The Cocktails are great and the presentation is sublime. Try the Quixotic or the Caffeinated Boulevardier (campari based). For starters the Spicy tuna tartare is good and don't miss the mud crab!

Trekked from Bandra to town just to grab a meal here - unfortunately I regret having done the same. The food was highly disappointing- more than a couple of dishes were sent back coz they tasted off or overly sweet. Overly priced place highly disappointing.

Such a fun night full of Gin cocktails and scrumptious food
.
This was my first time dining at Miss T, i tried the crab & shrimp rangoon , the tea shrimp salad and the most soulful clams in a galangal and kaffir broth. The freshness of the ingredients and quality of seafood was the highlight of my meal!.
.
NEED to try the coconut passion fruit panna cotta
Desserts Dark Chocolate Mousse & Yuzu Tart Dessert Was Just Amazing. Staff was Courteous & the Ambiance was just Perfect. Recommend the Coconut Chicken Too.

Altogthr different cuisine in town- Burmese & Vietnamese. Its ambience is both intimate and electic. Food portion is relatively small compared to its price. Management needs to be done well if the place gets crowded. Its cocktail menu is something to drop by again.

Nice place to visit with great vibes and food. To start with we ordered two of their salads Bomras tomato salad and green leaf salad both were amazing using simple flavourful ingredients .F

or starters we ordered crispy red snapper and pan tossed pakchoy with king oyster mushrooms bang on yummylucious. For the mains it was killer Tamrind pork belly and sticky rice. And icing on the cake was Tender coconut Panna cotta with passion fruit.also tried their cocktails quixotic and 5 spiced old fashioned all together an eventful evening spend with memorable meal and drinks .
Thank you Miss T it was simply Amazing.😘

Finally visited this beauty "Miss T" in colaba, the cuisine here has loads of flavors & fresh take from Burmese , Vietnamese to Asian fair.
To start with we ordered for Crispy Red Snapper , the fish sauce/dressing was bang on complementing the crispy fillet which was fried to perfection.
Pork lovers don't miss on the Tamarind Pork belly yummy..yummy..yummy.
My wife is a seafood lover so for mains we shared "Tiger Prawn Curry & Coconut rice with Edamame, prawns were juicy well balanced with the shrimp paste & the fried garlic added so much umami in the coconut rice that there was no room for any disappointment, we skipped desserts but will definitely visit again to try them.
Moving to bar offerings the cocktails here are handcrafted and designed to perfection to fit the ambience & experience and not to forget complementing the food as well .
We enjoyed a couple of cocktails Washed Martini & Smoked 5 spiced old fashioned both were superb.

Overall a lovely experience.

Team "Miss T" see you soon on one of these days for lunch , heard the chef has some delicious vietnamese pho to offer.

Cheers! 🍻

Great food... service needs to improve. Bar is a little cramped up... Food was delayed... they should open for lunch. Pricing is good. The salads were fab and the crab Rangoon

+ Good cocktail menu
+ Wide Asian menu
+ Good preparations
+ Courteous reservation staff
+ Prompt and attentive service
+ A few large group tables

- Ingredient quality was mediocre. Needs a little work

It is so easy to fall in love with MissT. The attention to detail follows through thoroughly right from the cocktails to the food and service as well as the interiors of the place. One can tell almost instantaneously that MissT is a masterpiece in creativity. Some of my favorites are the Morning Glory, Crispy Red Snapper Rolls, Coconut Rice, Cold Soba Noodles, Char Grilled Chicken, All the Cocktails and the DESSERTS are just the best! If you love your dessert like I do, you'd get them all.
I hear they are opening for lunch so cannot wait to check it out in the day which I'm sure will be as elegant and eclectic as it is during evening hours.

There are certain restaurants that live up to expectations and there are certain that exceed it. Miss T is most certainly the latter. You know you will be in for a treat when you have the force behind Table and Woodside coming together to create this beautiful chic Asian restaurant. Along with Chef Bawmra Jap, Chef Nikhil Abhyankar has nailed this one sticking to those fantastic South East Asian flavours. It is comfort food at it's sophisticated best.

Among the handcrafted specialties, one particularly stands out for this caffeine addict - The Caffeinated Boulevardier , A Miss T signature Whiskey with a rapid infused Rosso vermouth with my all time favourite Vietnamese coffee. A classic take on a rather unusual Irish Coffee is what you'd think of when you read the description but this one is rather light compared to a usual heavy Irish Coffee. And by light, i mean not heavy. It is one hell of a beautiful strong concoction to get you started for a good night. They have one of the most cute yet classy bars to unwind at with that beautiful drink

Moving on to the food, I love the fact that there's not too much going on and it's rather easy to pick from the concise menu which still covers more or less everything that the Vietnamese and Burmese cuisine has to offer. Some Epic Picks -
1) The Pickled Tea Leaf Sald
2) Crispy Red Snapper Rice Paper Rolls - Something you absolutely should not miss out on
3) Morning Glory
4) Spicy Tuna Tartare
5) Vietnamese Rice Crepes with Tamarind Ponzu
6) Wok Fried Chicken Tenders - A phenomenal dish
7) The Tamarind Pork
8) Bomra's Rice and Noodle Salad - A beautiful flavoursome dish with all the right flavours and textures.

Coming to my favourite part of any meal - Dessert!

Flavour, Flavour, Flavour - The Yuzu Tart with that lovely sesame brittle and icecream is nothing short of perfection
The Dark Chocolate Mousse is another favourite.

Surely, Miss T is going to be one of those new restaurants that I would frequent
Mumbaifoody19
Absolutely nothing like Bomras in goa. The food lacked flavour. Was just basic stuff with fancy names . Highly overpriced for such a small restaurant. Menu needs loads of work.

Been wanting try out Miss T since awhile when I heard it was a new fine dining Asian restaurant near home and I finally went there last night. To say the least- I was very very disappointed. I gave them a 2 star only cos the staff were pleasant and courteous and the red snapper rolls were good. The chicken and tender coconut curry was a nothing curry- it lacked flavour and some of the chicken pieces were under cooked. Curry and rice is comfort food and this literally left a bad taste in our mouths. We left half the curry cause neither of us enjoyed it. We were told it will be served with sticky rice which is called Pandan rice so we were looking forward to that. What we got was plain steamed rice. What we would call ‘sada’ rice! If not sticky if wasn’t even long grained or fragrant.
I forgot to mention my white wine was served cool (not chilled). When I asked for another glass the server poured a little out of the glass by mistake- did not apologise or clean the glass. He poured less the 2nd time round and when I pointed it out he literally added a few ml ! We decided to skip the dessert as we didn’t want to waste any more money on food that was mediocre. And yes our opinion (and everyone I know who has eaten there too) is that this place is very over priced for its quality of food, the taste and presentation. I was expecting the food to be at par with Koko or Thai Pavilion but it was nowhere close. Even other Asian restaurants like Foo, Pa Pa Ya and Royal China are way better. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Finally a new bar opened up in south mumbai .. as you would expect it has the south mumbai snootiness and swank... very tastefully done . Been there thrice already ... love the cocktails and just spending some time by the bar over a drink and bar snacks . The first time I went there was for a dinner and birthday celebration and it was completely worth it. They were super busy that evening , but the food and the desert were very good , the staff was polite which made us visit the place again. Definitely would recommend a visit to Miss T.
Rushil Mehta
Way too fancy and overpriced for a place that barely gives you enough food on a plate for 2 people to share.
The food tasteed below average and definitely not worth the money spent.

Would I recommend it to someone in the future?
NO

Miss T is a restaurant Mumbai didn’t need. It probably has the worst tasting food in Mumbai. I almost threw up the last time I was there. The food is oily and not very pleasant to taste. There’s way better food available in Mumbai. I’ve asked 3 other people who’ve eaten there and they have the same thing to say. The bar isn’t too shabby. The wait staff is unpolished and untrained. Save your time, go to another restaurant to eat and come here for cocktails.

Enjoyable evening at this place. Everything we had was great. Highlights were the crispy pork salad and the crispy red snapper roll. If you’re looking for a fabulous Asian flavoured cocktail, the Happy Mahayana is a great choice. 👌🏼

I would ideally give this place a 3.5.
I visited Miss T on a Saturday night with prior reservations for two and specifically asked for a place around the bar. When we entered, we were relegated to a corner spot away from all the action and that is probably why I didn’t enjoy my night as much as I otherwise would have. Shunning the cocktails, i stuck to a passion fruit Mocktail which wasn’t good enough.

Food was outstanding though. The order was primarily vegetarian-

1) Vietnamese rice paper rolls - An average appetiser, i have had better summer rolls
2) Cauliflower char grill - Perfectly grilled cauliflower with a delectable orange creamy sauce
3) Laos curry and rice - good portion size, refreshing green curry, very flavourful served with plain steamed rice
4) 70% dark chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet- while the mouse was perfect, the sorbet tasted a little funny

All in all, I’d say it is a beautiful place and would make up for a great evening, and my rating would have been much higher had I gotten escorted to the right table to enjoy the music with some cocktails!
We kicked off my 30th birthday celebrations at the hottest new restaurant in town Miss T, and boy did it live up to expectations. At the helm of this new restaurant is chef Nikhil Abhyankar who has mentored by chef Bawmra Jap from Goa.
We started off the celebrations with a couple of spectacular cocktails! My favourites of the night being the caffeinated Boulevardier and the Le’etranger. Both were masterfully made and had layers of complex flavours.
We ordered a mix of small plates both vegetarian and non vegetarian. For the vegetarians we got the tomato salad it was fresh and juicy with palm sugar and crispy ginger. Next we had the superbly crafted Vietnamese rice paper rolls stuffed with a mix of crunchy and vibrant vegetables and mushrooms. Both the vegetarian options definately hit the spot.
For our non-veg appetisers we ordered the spicy tuna tartar seasoned with smoky sesame oil and spicy togarashi infused mayo this is not to be missed served with crunchy sesame crackers! Next we got the pork mince stuffed squid another stunners a herb infused fatty pork mince stuffed into tender squids this was a rich and delicious dish! The highlight of the appetisers was undoubtedly the barely cooked beef which was served with a salad of cold soba noodles tossed with water chestnuts and poppy seeds.
After a great start with the apps we graduated to the main course and ordered the vegetarian jungle curry and coconut rice. These were both great dishes. I was slightly let down by the crispy papaya main which was a little messy to construct into wraps with the tiny baby lettuces. For the meat eaters we ordered the tamarind infused Spanish pork belly which was cooked to tender perfection. We then got the Kachin beef which was superbly flavoured and extremely tender.
After this round of food one would think we would be full. But then one would be mistaken! We ordered all four desserts on the menu! Starting within the exquisite coconut panna cotta with a fresh passion fruit coulis. We then got the “tart” yuzu tart which was balanced perfectly with the sesame ice cream. Another refreshing dessert was the mango and white chocolate mousse. To round it off the dark chocolate mousse was the perfect ending.
Overall my meal at Miss T was excellent. I feel they could expand the vegetarian section a bit. It’s not a cheap meal at Rs 4500 a head (with a drink a head) but it’s definately worth it! I hope you all can try the delicious food here soon! Bon apetit! And stay hungry!

This restaurant like table helps you believe that Bombay has creativity and passion for the different
Personally I thought better than bomras in Goa
The tomato salad with fish sauce unique
Soft shell crab red snapper rolls I could go on and on
Taste quality and impeccable presentation makes this the top innovative Asian culinary experience in Bombay

Informed staff. Polite service. Unusual cocktails. Impressive food. Curated playlists. This South Bombay restaurant has everything down to a t.

My favourite kind of cuisines are finally in town! Miss T has filled the gap of delicious Burmese and Vietnamese cuisine that I’ve been missing for so long now. The grilled aubergine salad, the crispy netted spring rolls and the jackfruit seed curry with coconut rice have become my favourites. In the cocktail menu, Princess Hanh is a must try. It’s refreshing to see a new take on cocktails, the quixotic and miss Parker are also on the must try list. I need to go back on the weekend straight to the bar!

Oh what a brilliant discovery!
Can dedicate a whole evening just for the cocktails and might just do another one!
With such nice appetizers, and culinary delights from our chef for the evening who is from Burma. Brilliant memories! Want to discover it many times over again!!

Miss T is probably one of the most interesting new bar in the colaba neighbourhood! Once inside, the place opens up to dimly lit tables in close quarters, as well as a nice bar right at the back. The decor is minimal and swanky with the music being tranquil. The ambience manages to feel both at the same time- intimate and eclectic.

The drinks were great, very different from the usual mundane menus. The desserts were outstanding especially the black sesame ice cream! Must try this place for a comfort Vietnamese meal or just drop by for some kickass cocktails.
Arth Shah
The food (Vietnamese & Burmese), cocktails, music, decor just create the perfect vibe for you to keep coming back to this new addition to the Colaba F&B scene. The owners of the legendary restaurants Table and Woodside Inn coming together, we can only imagine what a wonderful job they must’ve done. The “T” bar serving wonderful cocktails and bar snacks is a different experience altogether. From the welcome to the service to the food and desserts is all just a perfect experience you’re looking for in Mumbai!

This place is where Busaba and then lemon leaf was.Awesome food! limited in choice but full of deep flavours. The bar area is good to sit and have a few drinks but they serve a limited menu their. The simple tomato has been made into a delicious salad and is one if their signature dish. The rice paper rolls and cabbage rolls both were very good along with the aburgine dish and spinach n mushroom starter. For the main course we ordered the jungle curry which was fabulous. Will definitely go back!

For dessert had the chocolate mousse and the lemon tart with black sesame ice cream.. both super..and Chocolate lovers do not miss this mousse!
Overall..a great meal!
A great place for Asian food .....they have tried to keep the flavors authentic....pickled tea leaves salad, the jackfruit curry, black rice, coconut rice simply delicious

This place was perfect to the T (sorry about that). The service is incredible and the short but exciting menu makes it very easy to choose your food and drink. Special shout out to the delicious soup dumplings and lamb starters. Definitely going back here.
Tanya Vasunia
Miss T was quite lovely, the ambiance and service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the forest mushrooms and our old fashioned cocktails! The curry lacked a bit of flavour and the smoked tea leaf salad was a bit salty but other than that the food was good. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

I’m extremely disappointed to say this place has no concept of customer service- they didn’t care to answer their phones a couple times, didn’t bother to call to confirm my reservation, upon arrival we had to wait forever to have a table despite having a reservation, my family of 5 was given a huge table for 8 which made it hard to have much conversation. So yeah, clearly they don’t care!
Highlight was- we were celebrating a birthday, so I requested the restaurant to have a cake arranged which they couldn’t because it was last minute for them. However, I was allowed to bring my own cake if I paid them an additional fee “to bring my own cake”
If you are vegetarian, PLEASE EXPECT NOT TO BE SPOILT FOR CHOICE.
Food was decent, nothing to come back here for. Cocktails were probably the saving grace of this place.
So yes, all in all this place is WORTH A MISS!

Fery Vs Food
For the price point, an absolute disappointment.

Must haves : King Prawn Curry (why were the prawns cut into small bits?) but still great.
Snapper Rice paper rolls were good too.

Meh : Wok fried beef was decent but both tough and lukewarm. Tamarind Pork belly tasty but was sadly not crispy.

Cons : Crab and Prawn Rangoons were, in the scheme of fried wontons, below average.
The Panna cotta came in a sour passion fruit pulp sauce that I did not enjoy.

For 7 grand for 2 people (albeit we ordered a lot) it's no bang for your buck.
Bno
Very mediocre very expensive unfortunately the food is not up to mark. Needs loads of improvement. Also place looks very cramped. Service was ok.

A delicious new restaurant that brings truly different cuisine to Mumbai. Based on Burmese and Vietnamese cuisine this place will have you smiling and coming back for more. If there is any flaw it is that the mains were quite small. Go with friends so that you can taste more dishes. Can't wait for them to start a tasting menu.

MISS T has a very cool ‘New York’ style, bar vibe. Cocktails are nice. Staff is prompt and service is good. The weak link is the food. Its well below average. A party of four, we ordered the Aromatic Vegetarian Broth, Wok fried Pak Choy, Crispy Netted Vegetarian Rolls, Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls, Coconut Rice, Tamarind Pork, Crab and Shrimp Rangoon, Fried Red Snapper Rolls, Wok fried B, Spicy Tuna Tartar and were extremely disappointed. Come here for a drink, but you can definitely give the food a miss.

Went there in the first week of its opening to public. Was very surprised with the awesome decor and the unique T shaped bar. The staff as also the owners were very welcoming and took the time out to explain their unique decor and menu. The cocktails there are a must try. Amazing Asian cuisine. The tuna tartare was just amazing. A wonderful experience. Fairly priced. A must visit and repeat. Please do call before going as they are trying to ensure a personalised experience for all guests. Good to have a nice fine dine place in the neighbourhood.👍🥃

Fancy place, classy vibe

The bomras tomato salad, crispy veg roll and spring chicken were the best of what we had

Had 1 chocolate dessert for which we landed up waiting for almost 25 mins. It was not worth the wait

Must try their non alcoholic cocktail - Mukesh mills in the day

The service at the beginning of the meal was ok but as the place got full the service got quite bad. I hope it's just teething problems and they improve that

The cocktails are a refreshing twist - the food overall was good, presentation was great but something was too plain Jane . We ordered the coriander almond cake because it came highly recommended and unfortunately it was quite horrible - a little too experimental .

Miss T is a refreshing take on South East Asian cuisine. While most Asian restaurants in Mumbai focus on Chinese, Thai and Japanese foods, Miss T's specialities are Burmese and Vietnamese dishes.

While the menu selection is limited, there are enough options to satisfy everyone. There's a balance between veg and non veg dishes as well.

Miss T features a great bar and their cocktails seemed interesting. We opted for two mocktails and though both were good, we particularly liked Talking Salads.

In the salads, the pickled tea leaf salad is brilliant, and the tomato salad is good too. Both dishes have authentic Burmese flavours (we have lived there recently).

In the main course, we had the char grilled chicken which is a unique Asian spin on chicken. There are only four desserts to choose from, and we asked for the Chocolate Dacquoise. Excellent too!

Highly recommended.
