Review Viaan - Mumbai

Great place to come for some dinner and drinks. Viaan is part of Ginger Hotel but is also accessible from the outside. Their Indian and Chinese food both are well made for the Indian taste buds. They have a good amount of tables and round tables that can sit upto 8 people. Valet parking is available here which is a real blessing as it's a congested 3 way junction. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Food is tasty and you won't be disappointed.

The place is amazing with reasonable prices and affordable buffet, I love this place because of the Beautiful asthetics, although the service staff is kinda alright and can definitely be more coordinated but other then that the food and atmosphere is just worth it. This is my local dinner and I would like to recommend this to anyone who is in search for a good place to have a meal. It's also worth mentioning that this place is very good to through a party.

The internet made me aware of this place as a recommendation for Buffets.  I did all my research ,called up ,the management sent me a image of the menu on whatsapp (which changes for every meal) made a reservation and decided to drive 15  kms to see what the place had to offer. The ambience of this place from outside and inside are totally different. Outside is hustle and chaos and as you step in , things change ! The variety in spread of buffet is quite impressive,Soothing music ,enjoi your food festival .Have been here at two occasions now. Be it starters, soup ,  main course ...the food that comes to you is well made and deserves the mention. The salad spread had 4 different varieties. Hot  roti are made as per your choice and served on your table. Starters are searing fresh !! Three different varieties of ice-cream flavors. Another recommendation: FINAL VERDICT: FOOD 4.5/5 AMBIENCE 4/5 VFM 4.5/5

It's a small place with excellent buffet food and service accompanied by some good choice of soft rock music. Perfect ambiance to hangout with family or friends while you can also watch cricket/football depending on what tournament's on at the time.

We always enjoy food from Viaan. Have come here for dinner several times, ordered parcels but had the buffet for the first time yesterday. Really good food. Very good starters. Especially liked the pasta and biryani too!

Loved the food! The servers were a little confused but that’s okay. We ordered Tandoori Pomfret, Basa in Chinese sauce (don’t remember exact name) and chicken tikka masala with lasooni Naan. Food was yum! Had this with sparkling white wine.

It is one of the good restaurants in the area. I am writing this review out of my free will. I wanted to write it because, I have observed all the four parameter it ticks of my interest area, ambience, staff response and food quality and matching price to it. I highly recommend if you want to enjoy dining in a little peace then this is a place to have a visit.

I had recently visited Viaan restaurant for an outing with my family. It was definitely one of the best nights to remember. Viaan hotel is situated in Mahakali area of Andheri, Mumbai. Chicken Chilly Oyster dry is a must try. Ask them to make the chicken a little crispy and I'm sure Desi-Chinese food lovers would absolutely love it. <br/>I also tried Paneer Chilly Dry. The portion size was good but didn't like the quality of Paneer ( it was little dry and hard).<br/>But the taste was amazing.<br/>It's a value for money deal with Viaan considering their portion sizes.

Hotel Viaan- There variety for veg and non-veg is amazing and the desserts made our choice difficult. Serving of food is faster compare to other hotel in the area.Good ambiance attached with Hotel Viaan. Interior and sitting arrangement are very good. On the way of mahakali caves road you can spent some time here. So don’t wait, begin with soup.

Viaan is located on the busy streets of Mahakali, Andheri East. The restaurant is quite spacious and offers a large seating area, hence a perfect place for a family or friends gettogether. Went for the Friday buffet that they have. The starters where quite okay. Hunan chicken was nice. Something that amazed me was the main course which was really nice. Again the desserts where average. But for the price that they are offering it for, is just worth it. Nice place to visit family.

This restaurant has a lot of variety in their menu which is really nice.<br/>We often visit here for Sunday brunch. Totally worth the price. Ambience is also very pretty .I recommend you to try this place and enjoy their delicacies.

All the food in Buffet was bland without any salt. Only Rice, Dal and Deserts in the buffet were good. Chicken Starters were under cooked. Chilly Potato and Crispy Corn was soggy. The main course had Mutton which was also undercooked. Not worth 605rs for a Buffet.

Went for a fast buffet dinner, was good and reasonable, had veg manchow soup, paneer tikka, harabhara kabab, babycorn-mushroom chilly dry, veg momos as starters. Pasta with garlic bread. Mutter paneer with naan and Malaysian noodles with exotic vegges in sezhuan sauce, dal palak with rice, and Biryani For main course. Pastries, tarts, burfi, gulab jamun, moong dal halwa, custard, icecream for dessert. There were various salads and fruits too. Overall good food and good ambience. Worth repeating.

Planned to visit this place for a quite family dinner. One of the thing I liked the most about the ambience was it's quite spacious and has many large seated tables. They had a big menu with great variety of cuisines to offer. The food here is delicious. They offer buffet system as well. The staff provides amazing service. We had a great time here. Was looking for a group bookings with the Restaurant for an event. So called the Restaurant for a business inquiry. The call was transferred from desk to the Restaurant manager who first said okay for bookings. So i started my brief which I think he was not able to understand & suddenly in middle of my brief he Yelled saying ''No we can't do group bookings". This was strange so I informed (very calmly) that you said yes initially & now suddenly Without knowing the complete requirements what happened You are Yelling & being so unprofessional...he replied we don't want booking. <br/><br/>Further to his rude behavior I have requested him to get a call back from his hierarchy i believe. Hope he helps me in this. Awaiting for his call will keep you posted on this soon. <br/><br/>I won't recommend their professionalism & approach for business inquiries.

I went to try out their buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for Rs 605. I have attached the menu.<br/><br/>The starters were okay. I liked the chicken with basil sauce.<br/><br/>Not much variety in the non veg main course. But ok for the price.<br/><br/>The dessert section was really good. Quite a lot of variety and were remarkable. Loved their gulab jamuns.<br/><br/>They have happy hours on Indian beers 2+1.<br/><br/>Ambience was quite good. But the ac was not working and were feeling quite hot.<br/><br/>Overall experience was good. Seating is good.

I went there with my brother according to mi this place has the best cocktail ever the taste of starters were amazing we just end up eating starters only we were unable to go on to the main courses as it was so amazing to move on from them staff was very polite and services were fast enough enjoyable place good crowd quite expensive but worth it cocktail were made quickly by the barternder even though there was a little rush so just amaze with the place so go for it have an amazing meal

Viaan is quite spacious with a lot of tables around.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, I tried :<br/>1)Monk mix - A Chocolate based mocktail, absolutely refreshing. <br/>2) Try me - Cranberry juice mocktail along with some vanilla ice cream. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.<br/>3) Crackling cottage cheese - A wonderfully prepared Paneer dish. A decent place amidst chaos for a serene family dinner/lunch. The staff is well trained to cater to you. We had gone for some quality talking time but ended up having quiet a few dishes. Had their schezwan rice because we were damn hungry and the quantity was huge. Then ordered fish tikka which was mostly basa fish. It was both soft and crispy.<br/><br/>Had a fresh lemonade when the steward also suggested for some other beverages. That's when we ended up gulping black and try me. Very wide variety of food items are been served at a very effective prices. Detailed review about the restaurant are as follows:-<br/><br/>⚛Food- I had ordered 1x Tandoori Prawns 1x Chicken Pahadi Kebab 1x Reshmi Kebab 1x Chicken Harara Masala 2x Milkshakes 1x Fruit Salad 1x Caramel Custard 2x Mocktails 2x Cheese Nan 2x Butter Nan. The taste of every item was just goddamn amazing, literally an ideal place to have food with your family, the quantity of each and every item was perfect as compared to their prices. The only thing which I didn't liked was in Fruit Salad there were only fruits like there was no milkmaid only fruits and ice cream, fruit salads are not made like this, the only thing which I didn't liked was this, they should improve their fruit salad. Rest everything was the best in taste, in portion & in price.<br/><br/>⚛Ambience/Service- The ambience was perfect for family people and now a days IPL is going on so the IPL theme just makes the restro more attractive and family friendly restro. The only thing which is didn't liked here was the service, it was lil bit slow as from I expected lil bit disappointed here but it's okay I think so due to lot of rush the service might be slow. a good restro with a good ambience best suitable for family outings, with a good variety of food items and best service. Taste was also good nothing like bad, perfect as per the price.

Nice place with nice ambience. The food is great. We tried some of their mocktails which were refreshingly delicious. They have a few nice desserts as well. Will definitely visit again to try the rest of the menu.

Viaan is a family restaurant located in Mahakali with moderate pricing and a soft ambiance.<br/><br/>Primarily known for its great North Indian cuisine along with some Chinese cuisine options, Viaan offers some delicious food with a very warm vibe and some good service.<br/><br/>I enjoyed the 3 spiced chicken tikka, the fried chicken, the mutton Seekh and then the murgh kali mirch in mains.<br/><br/>The mutton Seekh is tender and spicy, and the murgh kali mirch gravy was creamy and well flavored. Very nice seating area with lovely ambience .Their food had a lot of quantity ,all the starters had 8pcs which was very filling to the stomach .quality was also good .The staff was very polite and helpful. Had a great time .will definitely visit again

If you looking for a lavish place to dine in and around Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri, this is the place for you. Viaan is located next to the famous Bindra Complex in Andheri E. The place is designed beautifully and the seating arrangement makes you feel extremely cozy and at home. We started the evening with their refreshing range of mocktails, the fruit punch, the very amazing Peach Iced Tea and the Honey moon which was very different yet soothing. Their Mexico Libra, a tequila based cocktail, looked beautiful and is a must try. For starters we had the Paneer Papdi Stuffed, which were paneer patties coated with crunchy papad and deep fried, served with the very tasty green chutney. Next we had the Chicken Wrapped Prawns which was a crazy combination of prawns wrapped in a thin portion of chicken and deep fried, served with an Asian dip. Next we had the very tasty Palak Kurkure. It was cottage cheese and spinach mashed and deep fried to make it crunchy enough to enjoy it with the green chutney. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse, which was served in a beautiful margarita glass. It was very smooth and a treat to our tastebuds. Very highly recommend. A quite good place to have some really nice and tasty food. Had quite a lot of dishes such as egg white in chicken gravy with butter naan, chicken chilli dry, king size prawns , cheese kebab , tandoori chicken. etc ... Wow Mann really loved it . A very good experience at the restaurant. I ordered for lots of tikka but there hazari tikka was very tasty. This type of tikka I never had it had cheese stuffing inside it which no restaurant offer. In main course I ordered chicken lahoori which had a very good presentation. It had a egg white fluffy thing on top and below that the gravy was there. The taste was spicy and had a authentic flavour. In dessert there chocolate mousse is very good. The best restaurant in andheri to have tikkas.

Located right under the Ginger Hotel in Mahakali, Viaan is a great restaurant serving some delicious north Indian food, at reasonable rates. It's a family friendly restaurant and offers a variety of choices from both indian and chinese cuisines.<br/><br/>It's moderately priced and has a very well priced Sunday Brunch as well. It's definitely a great choice to order in, or dine in when looking for some great food with a warm ambiance.

This is one of the best buffets I have been to recently. They serve so many dishes and it's yummy and you're bound to leave with a big tummy.

Super good food and super good service. I can't even think of a single thing which we weren't happy about. Literally loved all of it. Ambience is more of a family place proper fine dine with light music. They do serve cocktails and alcohol too.<br/><br/>It was a buffet only thing they have on Sunday. Would love to see different options too but after seeing the options they have, I'm really glad. We tried all starters - 4 veg and 4 non veg. Loved each and every one of them. Good thing about non veg is that they had all 4 meats in their starters. Best was prawns so tender and masaledar.<br/><br/>Main course and dessert was self serve buffet style. Good options available. Went for Dosa with gravies and some rice as well. Desserts was my favorite especially the pastries that they had. Highly recommended!

Went here for their Sunday buffet lunch to celebrate Easter with family. Perfect family vibe with large as well as medium sized tables. Loved their round tables which is where we dined. Service was all good, everything came on time. The location is just near Holy Spirit Hospital, please make sure you are going to the right location. Google has 2 different locations far away from each other.<br/><br/>So the starters are served on the table. They had 4 different types of veg and non veg starters. Didn't try all the the veg ones but the mushrooms was my favourite. In the non veg loved the Basa one the most. Prawns chilly was equally good. For mains they have a huge array of dishes. We mainly had the non veg gravies with some fresh naan and dosa.<br/><br/>Desserts was again a huge variety. Loved the Kalakhand and Jalebi. Indian sweets somehow always have a charm about them. These guys made them all perfectly. Overall had a wonderful experience. Next time visiting them for their A la carte menu for sure.
