Step into a world of sweet enchantment at this charming sweets shop. Every bite is a burst of pure happiness, and the range of treats is simply irresistible😍😋
Although I haven't tried the sweets yet, their restaurant serves pocket friendly fare. Specials of the day were Kela bhajia and Pan poli. Its a Rice Gatti with a stuffing of banana and jaggery. Pav Bhaji was decent.
This review is for the sweet shop.
The sweet shop & restaurant are owned by 2 different entities. Read till the end.
I have to say after travelling to most parts of India and Mumbai, the sweet shop is the best place for sweets & savouries.
Everything is freshly made in their special kitchen present at that place itself.
Their hot samosas, mutter karanjis and other things too are the best.
They have great human resource management skills that is why they have retained their best trained staff for many years.
Most of the other places in Chembur & elsewhere in the city, spend all their money on the decor & nothing on the quality.
Do you know all the other places outsource their items from kitchens present in unhygienic places and from the slums?
Saroj is a saving grace for Chembur & Mumbai.
It has not been swept by the false mask of glamour that Chembur has worn for many decades.
They have stuck to their values.
But the restaurant is not so good.
I wouldn't recommend it.
Excellent sweets, super fresh and delicious, less spicy samosas, made in limited quantity every evening. There is always a queue, so ot a trip to the store takes minimum 15 mins in the evening, no gpay. So if possible one more counter can be opened and upi payment can be made possible. But most trustworthy sweet shop in chembur.

Budget hotel to dine in Chembur market. I enjoyed the best of food and hospitality here last to last day. It was worth to come and have a thali to dine. It was too much to finish for me single handedly. The service of the restaurant was comfortable and timely. The Dosa was good to Cherish the food. The sad part was attendant was not responding well. Enjoyed the meal though. The best part of this restaurant is it's crowdeded and you can trust as there many people who come to eat food and meal.
The biggest reason why you should buy sweets from Saroj Sweets is the cleanliness and quality of the sweets and most importantly the sweets are made using completely natural saffron without using any food color. If you want to pay for good sweets, you should definitely try Saroj Sweets
Very old south restaurant in Chembur. You get dosa, idli, vada for whole day. They do not have set lunch or dinner, but a-la-carte dishes and roti is available.
Only drawback is there is no air conditioning and because of this they can afford lower prices on dishes.
Great place for eating with friends and family. Parking available. Non AC and AC both dining are available. Best for meals and juices. Sometimes need to wait for seats if going in large numbers. Traditional Indian, Chinese food available such as Pav Bhaji, Manchurian, various types of Dosas. Pizza is also tasty. If you lives in Chembur then you are familiar with this amazing restaurant.
Super delicious and tasty food... service provided is very nice...neat and clean place.
Great place to eat...going there for almost 18 years.
Their Puri bhaji is good...all the South Indian dishes are best ...their sambhar is delicious.....they have the best paneer tikka masala...service... cleanliness is top class.
