BASIL N' SPICE KITCHEN & BAR
Basil n' spice kitchen & Bar is located in Central Suburbs Mumbai near Fortis hospital, below Runwal Greens and easily accessible from Mulund & Nahur Railway Station. This is Bar and Resturant. As a Bar they have quite a good variety of Domestic and International drinks and their top dishes include European and North Indian food.
So coming to the ambience the outlet has a great ambience and it's very spacious for parties, comfortable chairs and pleasing seating arrangements. Even the projector quality was at its best.
Staffs were quite okay not much cooperative. They were busy with their own stuffs.
Talking about the food, we had
Unbeatable mini burger:-
This was just like a smaller version of burger which makes it looks cute also tastes good.
Basil n' spice rice :-
Rice contents broccoli,baby corn tomato and so on things .. taste was good but it's bit different.
Spring roll:- It was one of the best veg starter.. it's roll which is stuffed with some good flavours and served with spicy chutney.
Rose wine:-
It was mixture of cream the cassis, blush zinfandel and taste was sweet like cranberry juice and grapes .

Been here several times and love their food. Their Italian is super yummy. But my last visit I foudn that they have a separate Zomato drinks menu so when you get 1 +1 using Zomato gold you actually dont really get any discount cos you order from a drinks menu that has higher prices for the drinks. Zomato are tou listening? Why should I rebew my Zomato gold in this case if this is what it is going to get me? Is this allowed?

Visited this place just last night... Wasn't expecting too much but I was really surprised. Completely loved the experience;
AMBIENCE - Soft lights and nice light Bollywood music playlist... They also had a large projection screen since there was a match yesterday :)
FOOD - FYI, this is a vegetarian place but it does serve alcohol (Tip : they do have Zomato Gold, 2+2 on drinks). We had the following;
1. CORN CHAAT - simple American corn tossed in a pan with Indian spices, fresh tomato and coriander with a dash of like... Perfect starter/chakhna (If you're boozing) ;)
2. PIZZNAAN - In a way it is what you are thinking, it is a Naan bread covered with toppings Just like a Pizza but wait! The taste isn't Italian... They load up the naan with a vegetable masala cooked in a desi way, add cheese and it's done... So a very desi pizza taste. Nonetheless it was very tasty
SERVICE - The waiters were all extremely attentive and courteous. Service was prompt although the restaurant was nearly full
COST - Is it a cheap everyday place, No. But is it a place to try anytime you wanna have a nice meal, soft music and a relaxing evening? Definitely Yes! I will definitely go back and try more stuff on their menu
I'd heard quite a lot about this place so went ahead to try it. I really liked how sober the ambience was, pretty calm.
We ordered the malai tandoori broccoli for starters which I absolutely loved. It was broccoli cooked in malai with nuts. It had a little sweetish taste but it melted in your mouth and gave out flavour beautifully. I went there again after a while for the same dish and my experience then wasn't as good.
For the main course, we called for green Thai curry, again, whose flavour was commendable. They served it with rice. No complaints for this one.
To end it, we called for cheesecake which was served with crumbs of the base for the aesthetic.
The price is pretty high generally but the place is good for a once in a while visit.
Restaurant was clean and service was quick. Aroma inside the restaurant was very soothing, I guess it was a Jasmine flavor. Regarding, food quality, it was great and quantity was good as per the price. On top of everything, spaciousness was the key factor.
This place is located in Mulund runwall just fee minutes from nahur station aswell as from Mulund also. The quality food you will get here. They too serve alcohol. This many dishes I tried over there and every dish was worth a wow expression. I would recommend you guys to have the super duper amazing tasty dal khichdi and founde. Do visit this place if ur nearby. Thank you

I ordered Paneer lakhani and fries but lakhani was somewhat more like sugar added in there I thought but taste was awesome..
Fries was crispy and much better than other places..
Must visit..
It takes about 35min. Fro. Station..So I think disadvantage is high pricing and more distance.

I went here with my family, and was not disappointed.
It’s a really great place for 4-5 group of people. Anything more and it seems cramped due to the layout of the restaurant.
We ordered the below:
Mezze platter - the falafel was really good. All the dippings were yum. The platter was apt for 4 people since we get 4 pieces of falafel and pita bread. I personally loved the tzatziki dip (inclination towards sour, garlicky taste) ★★★★★
Mushroom & Goat cheese pizza - just a good tasting pizza. Only downside I felt was the goat cheese was not enough. I personally love the goat cheese and the creaminess it brings. ★★★★
Spaghetti Aglio olio - I ordered the pasta, but opted for the pink sauce. The staff was happy to make the changes. The pasta was perfect with a good size portion and yummy. Again the only downside is the cheese. There was hardly any cheese sprinkled on top. Sometimes we need the cheese to make the dish richer and thick. It lacked that richness for me. ★★★★
We ordered kiwi cooler & peach and cranberry drinks - both were very average. The drinks are definitely not hand made, more of syrups based. Way too sugary and artificial. Not recommended. ★★★
Overall a heathy ★★★★. Definitely worth it for the food and service for family outings.
It is our frequent hangout spot in Mulund. We never get fed up of this place. The place has very awesome ambience. It serves best Jain food. It has variety of Jain options. Cheese Loaded Nachos are a must. I have never tasted such aweosme nachos. All the food items are very awesome.
Nice place to drink.
They serve zomato Gold benefits and along with that they have special offer on Jim beam.
Starters are good.
Staff is friendly.
Ambience is decent but banal.
Cost/quantity ratio is poor.

📌 AMBIANCE- This place touches the European vibes with ease. With light Pastel hues and Royal yet subtle wallpaper of blue shade steals your attention. Abstract paintings on the wall exhibit simplicity. Sitting arrangements are perfect.
📌 SERVICE- Quick as it should be. They know their dishes and present them nicely. Humble and polite staff.

🍫Hot Chocolate- One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had. The consistency and well balanced. ORDER it.
🍹Toffee Mascropone - Originating in Italy, mascarpone is a mild and creamy fresh cheese with a consistency similar to soft butter. It's mostly used in Desserts and shakes. Toffee flavour in this shake was complimenting Mascarpone pretty well. So if you want to have some chilled, fresh, sweet cheese this one is a must try. I personally loved it a lot.
🍹Off the Street- Kokam flavoured slush with amazing consistency of ice presented beautifully. Kokam has always been one of my favourite flavours and this slush has only increased the love. Works best as palate cleanser.
🍹Peach Cranberry Slush- Refreshing 🍑 and cranberry never fails to energise us.
📌 STARTERS-
🔵Galouti Slidders - Gilawatti kebab or Galouti kebabs are one of the softest kebabs that literally melts in your mouth.
It's minced many times to get that Perfect texture. Presentation of these kebabs as sliders was brave and they've succeeded enough.
🔵Nawabi Kebab- Nice and crisp. Coated and presented in half circles so you could see the beautiful filling inside. Yummy.
🔵Chilly Garlic Fries- The classic French fries with solid garlic flavour with spicy chilly was flawless. It didn't turn fries sloppy which I loved. The French fries with added cheese turns soggy in no time and I'm a classic French fries lover. A must try.
🔵Jalapeño Poppers- Crispy poppers were Coated nicely and fried to perfection till golden brown. Presented with salsa sauce underneath which was also flavourful went very well with Jalapeño punch.
🔵Corn Spinach Jackets- Mild spinach with sweet corn flavour served with mayonnaise. A must try if you don't like it spicy.
🔵Bread Basket- Bread sticks, buns, toasted bread with fine garlic butter and some spices is a must try. Surely gives you that European vibe.
🔵Pizznaan- Naan topped with some amazing toppings and fully loaded with mozzarella cheese is something you don't want to miss.
📌MAINS-
🍛Paneer corn Bhurji with Missi Roti - Drool worthy main course dish. Tender paneer and 🌽 corn mixture with subtle spicy taste.

🍩Philadelphia Cheese Cake- The texture was fine. Biscuit crumble as it's base was fantastic.
🍩Chocolate Tart- Their own take on tart. Presented differently in triangular pieces placed vertically unlike other tarts. Served with
🍩Tres Leches- The sponge cake soaked in three types of milk i.e. evaporated milk, condensed milk and heavy cream served with some milk and cream. The pampering impression of this dessert is love. The more moist the cake is the more flawless it tastes. Try it.

Platter The platter has 4 varieties of starters. They were crispy and amazing served with 3 varieties of dippings.
Unbeetable Burger- a uniq burger with patty made of beetroot. Cute though
Piznaan- again a uniq dish naan topped with veggies and cheese.
Pot Rice- authentic pot rice which you will find in selective places.

Chocolate Tart- Both desserts were perfect and authentic. Something different. Must try.

Amazing place for a quiet and fine dine. Has Zomato gold 2 + 2 on drinks. There's match screening and a good amount of ambient music. The staff is very nice and polite. The food is quite tasty as well has a good amount of quantity especially the nachos and starters.
Basil n spice is one amongst the many restaurants as part of r galleria or runwal green in mulund. This place has become a hub for foodies with wide variety of choice in terms of food and cuisine are in offering.
It primarily offers european, indian and oriental cuisine and also has an attached bar.
The highlight amongst the european preparation has to be Gnonnici that is served.
Another thing worth trying here is pizznaan which is a combiantion of pizza and naan. The naan is like the crust for pizza and its very soft and topped with concoction of melted cheese and indian spice subzi.
There are N number of restaurants in Mumbai! Visiting the restaurants one by one is cool! Being treated well when you act normal or rather a noob is the restaurant which I like to review. The In-charge for the orders when asked delivered a perfect dish to me. He understood well and did not try to fool me around. I liked that!
Apart from this let's come to the taste, Excellent standards of quality with taste was served and we were actually full with only these two dishes! I wish could eat more.
Ambience is good with enough space between two tables to maintain privacy.😛

Service is quick, staff is polite,food wise also itz gud .. i went on saturday there was no waiting. Gud option who prefer pure veg restaurants. I loved the pizza.
The food was great and so was the ambience. A must try for all the vegetable lovers.
-Tom yum soup - The soup was decent enough to try it
-Fusilli Pink pasta - This is surely a must try your everyone. It was one of the better pastas I have ever tried. The vegetables were nice and crunchy.
-Kumbh Mirch ke kebab - The kebabs were a little dry but they tastes good. The salad and the mint dip served with it were good
-Stuffed cottage cheese cake - This dish had a large mound of cottage cheese with grilled vegetables below it and surrounded by tomato gravy. The paneer was extremely soft and had a nice taste to it
Located in the Runwall green, Mulund. Nice hangout place for groups. You can also plan to throw a birthday party or an anniversary over here. The ambience is simply great. Gives you a very rich feel. "Aamiro k Nakre" types. Good place for a date night. The menu is also pocket friendly. When you go to the place alot of options are available for food and wine.
