its my review on Oye Teri - The kulcha Kulture
It’s one of my favourite place, no one serves this amazing kulcha like them.
They serves kulcha’s in authentic desi style and also have some new fusion style kulchas also like Maggi kulcha, Pizza Kulcha or chocolate walnut kulcha also. Kulchas are served with chole and red chutney (chutney is made of cucumber), it’s just superb.
We had ordered kichiya papad Chura - fired kichiya papad served with chutney (chutney was really tasty).
Paneer tikka - perfect softness and very nice taste of marination. The cubes of paneer were too big in size n was perfectly tandoor. Very nice in taste
Tandoori Achari Soya Chaap - the Achari flavour was too good. The Soya chunkes were also soft. Served with chutney.
We had ordered there Oye teri special kulcha - it was a mixture of all vegetables n there special spices served with chole n red chutney. Very nice in taste. Must try this kulcha
We also ordered Palak cheese kulcha that was also good in taste. The size of kulcha are big enough, serves good quantity. We also tried Bombay style chaas and lassi, both were really nice in taste.
N lastly we tried tadka dal kichdhi - one of the best dal kichdhi. I haven’t ate such amazing tadka kichdhi anyone till now. Really nice in taste, wasn’t spicy at all, tasty.....
Must visit this places. Serves best desi style food.
A great place to eat in Borivali, though the place is a bit small and it can be hard to get a seat in the weekends, I feel it is worth it. The ambiance is good, the staff was very polite, and the service was fast.
We had the Paneer Tikka as a starter which was very soft and had a great taste of spices, even though the pieces were large, they weren't bland in the middle like in some other restaurants and the green chutney complemented it well.
We then ordered 3 plates of Kulchas, one was cheese garlic which was very tasty and had an even taste throughout.
The second one was a classic Amritsari Kulcha which was also great in taste and had an amazing blend of potatoes, paneer and onion with a classic Amritsari masala.
The third one was a Creamy Paneer Kulcha which I felt wasn't as good as the others as it had mainly only one component(paneer) in the Kulcha.
All the Kulchas come with Amritsari Chhole which were okay I guess, not to my liking but many people I know do like them a lot.
Even though the quantity seems less, the Kulchas were very filling and the food we ordered was enough for 3 people.
Overall I think it's a great place and a must visit on your next outing especially if you're a Kulcha fan.
