Went there for a casual lunch on a weekday and boy were we in for a surprise. While Mexican cuisine isn't exactly new in India, Xico does adds an interesting twist to the tale. Had the tortilla soup, tacos with pulled pork and quesadillas with shrimps and loved all of it. Had we not been stuffed, would have tried the churros with chocolate sauce for a sweet ending as well. But probably next time! Good ambience and service as well

Bombay has a dearth for authentic Mexican food and that void has been filled by Xico ! Where? Xico @Kamala Mills How's the ambience? They have chosen to be authentic with vibrant colours splashing the place and Mexican tunes humming in the background How's the price? It's 4500 for two. It is expensive but portions are good along with complete authenticity. What did you order? Drinks : Chia & Lime: Knowing the wellness benefits of this drink, I found it as a great accompaniment with my meal. Hortache: It is a milk, water, rice based drink. I didn't like it so much Food : 1. Xico'S famous guacamole Prepared table side for two or more Served with Warm tortilla chips and trio house made salsa Rs 650 I absolutely LOVED it! It is so so fresh. While it's made, the smell enraptures you and tastes fabulous There is everything Mexican about the menu from Flautas to bocadillos (appetisers in Mexican) 2. Tacos 🌮 Aguacate served 3 per order on corn tortillas with beer battered avocado 🥑 topped with black bean pico de gallo, cucumber 🥒 yoghurt and queso fresco I don't know what more to say as again this was so authentic. 3. Quesadillas Crispy griddles flour tortillas with a mixture of cheeses Enfrijolada Black beans, mixed vegetables, serrano salsa, charred green onions The portion size is HUGE. Easily a maincourse for two people. Try the cheese one, it would be better 4. Burritos 🌯 Bean and cheese Fried black beans, green rice, mix cheese, pico de gallo, cotijo Again this is HUGE. I liked the black beans less. Would rather recommend for the other one. Desserts: 1. We had the Mexican Chocolate Vegan cake with gaucamole on the side and topped with strawberry. Absolutely had a blast. The chocolate was rich and delicious. Gaucamole just added that balance in flavours! Anything else? We saw a lot of scootsy parcels being sent. So if you don't wana get out of home, you could try that Overall? Loved it! Sometimes splurging is fine if they serve authentic good food.

An authentic Mexican restaurant in Bombay, what more can one want. Trust th servers to recommend some yum dishes. We have been there a few times and their tacos & ceviche are a must try. Guacamole is made fresh on the table and they have an option to make it spicy which absolutely delightful.

A newly-opened authentic Mexican restaurant at Kamala Mills. They're popular for their Special Guacamole, which is prepared fresh at your table. It's customised as per your requirement, and it's fun seeing all the ingredients being mixed in front of your eyes. In terms of the dishes, they had a lot of the traditional Mexican fare, some of which we hadn't heard of before. We played it safe and had the usual Quesadillas, Tacos and Enchiladas. The food was quite nice, with the right amount of spice. Good experience overall.

It is in Kamala Mills and has only and only authentic Mexican dishes. No backups if you are the only one who doesn't like Mexican in the group. The ambiance is very nice and so is the staff. It's on the expensive side.

Great place, friendly staff (to the point of distraction), excellent food. Service was propt and great. Quite expensive though. Food is prepared fresh on ordering. The tables are clean as is the bath room. This is an up market venue. Drinks about 700+ rupees a glass. Meal for 3 with a drink was over 6000 rupees.

It was a great experience. Thankfully the food is 'genuine' Mexican, great on the palette while being very light on the stomach. The lack of excessive oil and hot masala complimented with great taste is a different gastronomical sojourn and a must have for us to indulge in. The freshness of each dish is something you will know once you've been there and tried the cuisine. Needless to say the Guacamole is not to be missed. The attentive service and cheerful staff make you never wanna leave, long after your meal is over.

Finally A Good Fine Dine Mexican Restaurant This place had been on top of my list since it had opened, and it surely didn't disappoint. We had ordered the Guacamole & nachos, Sweet Potato Nachos and a drink each. Maybe because it was just the 2 of us, we felt that the quantity was just enough; we couldn't even reach till desserts. The food was really good and so were our drinks.

Finally , an authentic Mexican restaurant in Bombay. Quick and efficient service , a noisy Ambience all add to the vibrancy of the atmosphere. Guacamole made at the table adds to the atmosphere. Well presented food and many veggie options. The desserts are also Tastefully presented. The margarita pitcher however could do better if filled up as this appears to convey a message that the management of the restaurant is saving on the small stuff. Given that the Priceline of the restaurant is not cheap by any standards, they must show generosity in serving portions of drinks and food.
