Craving for some good Tibetan cuisine? Go ahead and order some amazing Tibetan food home from New Sernyaa. They got delicious soups, momos, bamboo rice.
Craving for Momos and Noodles but also want to keep in on the lighter side...Then order from New Sernyaa....Ordered Chicken Momos and Pan Fried Noodles in Sernyaa Sauce..
Momos were moist, juicy and full of flavour from inside..and momo outer layer was just perfect- not too thick not too thin.. And that is what I loved about it...They are served with a Red Chutney which was good too..
Next we ate was Pan Fried Noodles in Sernyaa Sauce..—So they gave Noodles and Gravy separately..The gravy was so light and delicious and not at all spicy..It had veggies and chicken it...!! Overall it was a relishing meal for us...Thank you Sernyaa !!!!
Momos are the best..... And prompt delivery everytime....
I had order food from sernyaa outlet it was amazing experience food was deliver on time and taste were good
HANDS DOWN, THE BEST PORK MOMOS ARE SERVED HERE!!
This place is my forever go to place. As a lover of Asian food, they serve one of the yummiest Bamboo rice.
Authenticity totally sparkles in their food and interiors.
One can try any food option in the menu and shall not be disappointed.
Loved loved loved the Thukpa!
Absolute worth for the money.
And I am so in love with this place
The proper Tibetan food, almost the same we had in in Tibet, the menu has the proper description for the food served the staff is way too humble and sweet.
The ambiance is so warm and has mr Dalai lama photo.
The manager uncle John is a super man,he is 90++ still fit and active.
Best Tibetan food in town, hands down.
This place has been around for quite a while now and the owner is a very polite and humble uncle that makes sure you feel at home.
The seating arrangement of this place is not better than a normal road side uddupi and is very a tiny. Place, a table can seat 2-3 people max comfortably and they have only 4 tables. BUT..
..the food! It’s all worth it for the food, nothing is too oily or salty or tastes bad, it’s all very well cooked and served to you in a bamboo bark, in which btw it’s cooked in. (Mostly rice and a few gravies) and the staff is very nice friendly and polite and like I mentioned earlier it makes you feel right at home.
Recommend food is the momos, thukpa, bamboo rice and the Sernyaa gravy or the Jhasa gravy and it all comes down the price, well all of this above will cost you less 1000 INR which is a GREAT VALUE for money as it fills you up till your neck and also makes sure your heart is content.
A true foodie wud go any lenghts to taste some mind boggling food. We did the same when we reached new serniya. Looks wise a dinge dim place with red tables which makes it very difficult to photograph food.
It was the first time i was tryin my hands on tibetian food. The dishes names were so weird that we had to take help from the staff. They suggested everything that we ordered.
Chicken serniya khuwa - generally we order machow soup but this one was different. Blood red in color and topped with some kind of spinach. Flavoursome with a soupy punch.
Tubo jasha - this was something unique. Masala marinated slices of batter fried chicken.
Chicken bamboo rice - better than any fried rice this was served in a bamboo and had a typical flavor which i loved.
Sakya jasha - a basic gravy with chicken chunks and veggies
Coolberg - a fruit beer. We wanted peach but had to settle with strawberry.
New serniya has some mouth watering dishes but ppl who love their ambience shud home deliver.
Was one of the only places that served good momos, but the quality has gone down with time . There are better options now around the restaurant. Suggest you try it once and decide for yourself
It's been 8 years and this is my fixed momo place! Quality is same. Quantity is same. I swear by their pork momos, prawn momos, chicken thukpa, chicken bamboo rice and chilly pork ribs. I always have problem with momo skin and the filling. But never here! Perfectly steamed with thin wrapper and succulent meat inside. This is the closest I feel to Sikkim in general when I miss the mountains. Their dips are to die for! Their restaurant service is generally accompanied by the quirky and old uncle and the attentive and mellow manager. Please never change!
Ordered a Sernya soup which tasted like ordinary lung fung soup, the honey chilli pork was one of the best i ever had, its a must try, and we had a chef special rice and Chango Chicken gravy, loved the rice, the gravy was ordinary..
The total was around 1200 including cold drinks.
Nice place to order tibetan food at street food prices.
Theres no toilet inside which was a let down and the interiors are very basic, local chinese stall types.
A small Tibetan restaurant hidden in an alleyway. It's known for some signature Tibetan dishes along with the pork option. I would recommend Steam pork Momos and Pork ribs in sauce. The staff is always eager to help you with the recommendation. For dessert don't forget to try Fried Icecream.
A small restaurant with Tibetan food speciality. You can't miss their chicken thukpa soup. Momos are good too! We tried their pan fried noodles and it tasted amazing 😍
You can even try bamboo rice 🍚
We tried for the first time from this restaurant, and no regrets. Pork Steamed momo was so close to authentic, as it should be with less spices. If only it had the same portion size, it would have been lovely.
We also order Pork Spare ribs pan fried. We got one perfect whole spare rib cut, with right amount of fat and meat. However not all ribs were cut similarly. Taste wise, I have no complaints.
Looking forward to tasting more food items.
Finest Tibetan restaurant of Mumbai, but never pinch your pocket. Authentic Tibetan good, class apart Dimsum, tibetian Starter, Main course with Chicken, Egg, Pork everything is available. Trust me, eating here gives me more satisfaction than some of the fine dining Chinese restaurant of Mumbai.
The cost of eating won't be more than 500 per head. It is at Chinchoi bunder crossing at Malad west near Toyota showroom. Want to enjoy real food without much of hype, go there and enjoy.
Every dish is a new discovery to me with its amazing texture and tempting food aroma plus taste makes me keep my mouth munching and enjoy the food with happiness one of the finest Tibetan cuisines ever had .... ♥:) From Pork - Chicken - Lamb tried it all for better ask for suggestion if you're a 1st timer. He will guide you well with the menu
You should try Gyami Phaksha Pork here... Really good place!
One of the best places around for comfort food. It's a very small restaurant and not the most ambient place but I didn't mind.
We had their roast pork chilly and some egg fried rice. Heavenly.
I don't have pictures to post because I was busy enjoying the food a little too much.
Amazing food with authentic taste ..prices are reasonable
Eating at this places over 10 years since they'd a branch in Oshiwara now in Malad, Bamboo rice, Momos , Pork Chops are the best, the food is authentic Tibetan as unlike Chinese they don't have artificial color, Chinese salt etc , do take Uncle Johns recommendation he knows the best.
