A newly opened restaurant, specially made for lunch and dinner ,Here you'll get best kerala and malbar food. This place is good for couples, families and friends also. I like the taste of the food and the touch of kerala. like coconut texture in specific dishes like one dish. I've tasted coconut rosted chicken curry, normally i don't like food cooked with coconut involved means cuisine like mangolian, konkani, thai food but this coconut chicken curry is best in that space, I've loved that dish they use to serve with plain malbari parotha, And its so delicious. I've also loved their fried dishes which is starter actually , Nandan chicken dry fry and the prawns dry fry. The nandan chicken dish is my personal favourite dish in this restaurant, it's so delicious. Prawns also good in taste. I've tasted their Biryani also and one good thing about Biryani is they didn't used long basmati chawal, instead they bring rice from kerala it tastes good actually. As per him they bring cooking stuff from kerala itself and thats amazing thing. Service is good Food is delicious Outlet is delivers fresh vibe while eating.

When it comes to have something different , many options are available . but in the case of Kerala cuisine , this place is perfect to have Authentic Kerala dishes . “NAMBIAR KERALA KITCHEN “ is the place to have some of classic and signature Kerala style dishes . Kerala cuisine at the best , a newly Open place at Juhu , small place but definitely a memorable experience. Presentation of every dish in Kerala style , also it is located at Juhu which is another prime location. The Ambience is Simple , small place but whatever the serve it gives desi touch . Service was also on point as the staff was prompt . Also this place provides tiffin and catering services . THINGS THAT I HAD 1)KERALA CHICKEN KEBAB - Started with this classic starter , chicken pieces made in Kerala style . it had a nice Kerala Masala flavour. Crispy taste with sufficient quantity. Tender chicken pieces is delightful to have it . 2)PANEER MASALA - This Place served classic non vegetarian dishes , but it also serves classic vegetarian dishes . I took this paneer masala , though it was Kerala kitchen but the paneer was flavourful . Nicely stuffed with spices . I had malbar paratha with this , and the combination really went well . 3)MUSHROOM MASALA - Another classic dish , mushroom pieces served in a gravy . nicely mixture of flavours , tasted well . with this I had Idiyappam , it was something different. Mushroom gravy with idiyappam tasted delicious. It wasn’t too dry , for vegetarians worth to have it . 4)KOZHI VARUTHARACHA CURRY -here’s a perfect treat for all Non vegetarians. Desi style chicken served with flavourful gravy . it is a Basically coconut flavour roasted chicken curry . the pieces were tender and flavourful. this will definitely brings Mouth watering flavour . 5)CHICKEN THALASSERY BIRYANI - the word thalassery is a city in Kerala . Also being a biryani fan , i wanted to try biryani made in Kerala Style . And it really matched to the expectation level . It had natural flavour, chicken biryani along with Kerala style spices tasted delicious. Papad and raita was served , had amazing time while having this . the chicken pieces were huge and sufficient. Over all it was memorable experience at this place . Food and service was up to the mark . Nambiar ‘s Kerala kitchen is here to rule your hearts . If you are looking for authentic Kerala dishes , I will surely recommend this place . the place looks small but definitely worth to visit .

Kerala has always been famous for rich and exotic spices because of which Kerala is known as the “Land of spice”. Similarly Nambiar’s Kerala Kitchen in Juhu brings you numerous lip-smacking dishes prepared out of seafood, poultry, rice and much more. Though it has been newly opened but it surely has been hearts of people around the city with its authentic Kerala food. Swaagatham people of Mumbai…. Food: 1> Prawns dry Fry – Small baby prawns shallow fried in coconut oil and marinated with spices. Essence of being in the streets of Kerala could be actually felt by the presentation of the dish served on banana leaf. Good to go for the appetizers. 2> Nadan Chicken Dry Fry – Don’t judge the dish by its name with the very first bite of it I could literally feel the spicy level. Yet piece of chicken were properly marinated and turned out to be juicy and delectable. Would Recommend for them who handle spice in their lives… 3> Thalassery Biryani – Being a biryani lover so far I have tasted many different types of biryani across the city. Thalassery Biryani has altogether a different show of its own. As Thalassery in Kerala is well – known for its biryani (biri-yaa-ni) because of its unique aroma popping out from the spices and taste comes from the Kaima rice used in the preparation. 4> Pomfret Pollichhatu (Banana Wrapped Fish) – Kerala being seafood’s lover paradise you can definitely go for this fresh catch. Fish along with masala is wrapped tight in banana leaf and roasted on a pan allowing the fish to cook in the steam. Simply a treat to your taste buds. Drinks: 1> Chaas – To be the heat we had the chaas which was spicy yet refreshing to accompany with the rest of the dishes. Ambience – Ambience is kept simple and minimal given the desi touch with wall paintings representing the life in kerala along with coconut tree covered with lights. Would recommend to visit post sunset as in afternoons these days could be uncomfortable since there is no AC. Service – Our attendant Mr. Cyril had good knowledge of the dishes and quick enough to respond to any of our queries. Food – 5/5 Drinks – 5/5 Service – 5/5 Ambience – 4/5 Wah – leh – ray NAN- hi Nambiar Kerala Kitchen for a scrumptious evening.

It's a tiny yet cosy place in Juhu where you get amazing food. Their flavours and spices are from the Thalassery region in Kerala. The ambiance is great and they have good seating arrangements. The only issue is that it doesn't have an ac section yet and it does get a little hot later in the afternoon, but that wasn't much of a problem since they had a lot of fans switched on. The service is very quick. The staff is polite, also Mr Cyril Coelho and Mr Savio Fernandes helped us picking out the dishes according to what I liked and gave me amazing service. Coming to the food which was really tasty and I really liked their presentation as well. The dishes that I tried here were: - Chicken Dry Fry: It was crispy fried chicken which was marinated with their authentic spices and was really tasty. The chicken was really juicy and soft and had a crispy coating on top of it. It was the perfect starter and I just kept eating it. I would recommend having this here. - Prawns Dry Fry: It was prawns fried and tossed herbs and with the marination. It's a little spicy but it's got a lot of flavour. It was different compared to the other fried prawns I've had in the past but this had a unique taste. - Pomfret Fry: Its a whole fried pomfret marinated with masala and spices. The fish was fresh and really tasty. The fish was cooked well and it's a good dish to share between two people. - Chicken Biryani: As soon as this came to the table, it was really fragrant and the moment I had the first bite of the biryani I was just blown away with the explosion of flavours and spices. It was absolutely delicious and the biryani was really well made. The quantity was good, it was sufficient for two people. I would definitely recommend having this here. Finally they could add a few dessert options to their menu, but I'm sure they will do that in the future. Other than that it was a great experience and I would love to visit this place again in the future to try out the rest of their dishes.

This quite new resturant located in Juhu, just next to Iscon Temple, serves great food. As the name says, its Nambiar's Kerala Kitchen serves very authentic Kerala flavours. As you enter the resturant, the famous Nambiar Chatten greets you. The menu is small but has enough variety. There's Pomfret, King Fish and Prawns in Sea Food apart from variety of Chicken and Vegetarian dishes. Being a Sea Food lover, I opted for Pomfret Pollichathu or Pomfret wraped and cooked in Banana leaves. Great on taste with lots of Garlic and other spices. It was little oily and when I asked them, they informed that since they need to cook the fish in Banana leaf, they need to cook with little more oil. Next I tried Prawns Masala with Parrotta. Very flaky Parrotta with amazing Prawns curry. Had Masala Chaas for accompaniment and Dal Payasam for dessert. Both of them quite refreshing. Overall, a great place to have authentic Kerala food in suburbs. Reason for 4 stars is lack of Air Conditioning and Parking in the surrounding area, in the summer heat, it's quite difficult to park the car away and walk back to it after amazing food in the hot atmosphere... I will be going there again for their Sadhya on weekends soon!!! Food: 5* Quality of Ingredients: 5* Service: 5* Ambiance: 4*

Mini Kerela in Mumbai. Located in the bylanes of Juhu, Nambiar’s Kerela Kitchen brings to us authentic dishes from the South. The ambience is very simple yet the desi touch makes the venue very welcoming. We started of with Nambiar’s very refreshing tender coconut water. Following it, Vegetable Stew & Veg Korma paired perfectly with Parotha, Idiyappam & Puttu. King Fish Thalassery Biryani: One of the best Fish biryanis ever. Juicy masala fish, making the biryani super flavourful. For the desserts we opted for the Payasam & Banana Fritters, while the Banana fritters may not be something everyone would love but their Payasam is a must try!

A bit difficult to spot if not familiar with Juhu..its at the entrance of Juhu market near Arogyanidhi..small space, under 10 tables. No aircon but the fans run at full speed so it's quiet cool for the current season.Got the Chicken Nadan Banana Leaf..comes with pickle, cabbage, avial,a small smattering of boondi in curd and banana chips.Next comes the Kerala boiled rice which has a thicker consistency that normal rice. They usually top it with some sambar. The chicken Nadan Curry comes separately, and is not spicy but has a good balance of it,not bland either. Food was tasty, but could be warmer..it was quite lukewarm.I was the first to arrive so service was fast, but midway it filled up and it began to falter..there was only one guy running around initially. Will be back to try other things soon.

Not a very spacious dine in not even close to a great ambience but this place is indeed an unexplored underdog Out of our 5 day stay in Juhu we had 4days and 5 meals at this place. The polichattu, chicken curries and the thallesery biriyani are spell binding. The prawns and fish are at par or even better than normal considering the size and portion. A great place with great food with a pocket pinch of 800 for two if you opt for seafood otherwise 500approx for two . It is an amazing lunch home with great staff.

Had a really nice lunch here. Being late on a Friday afternoon, the place was quite empty. I didn't notice if there was any inside seating, but we sat on the outside section. It's protected from the heat and dust of the narrow lane Nambiar's is location by a wall of fake plants. There was just two other tables occupied out of the approximate 7 - 8 of I remember correctly. The waiters were very polite and attentive but didn't seem to know English or Hindi very fluently but just enough to be able to get their message across and understand yours. Don't expect any detailed recommendations. We had the chicken thaali, the prawn masala and a parotha. They brought us a veg thaali and when we asked them, they said the chicken gravy would be coming soon which was a bit strange but oh well. The parotha was just nice and flaky, the way rjs supposed to be. Just wish it arrived while it was hot. The prawn masala was just superb. The gravy / masala itself and the parotha satisfied my spicy, south indian food cravings. The thaali was served with the fat red boiled rice typical from South and Konkan regions. Really delicious, really filling. Served with a bucket (literally) of yum home style sambaar, rasaam and two or three other vegetable dishes whose names I've forgotten already. The late arrival of the chicken was worth it. Huge pieces of chicken in a tasty homely gravy. The two of us couldn't finish all of the food we ordered, we left with our bellies full and two dabbas full too. I'd easily say that this place is value for money. Great food.
