Had ordered Chicken Handi and chicken hyderabadi, naan, roti and a soup. The soup was nice, but Hyderabadi and Handi had quite similar red gravies. Hyderabadi genrally has green gravy, taste was okay and almost same but I guess there was a mix up with the order.

This restaurant is friendly for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian lovers. The food is of good standards and especially the north Indian dishes. A decent place to dine and drink in the cluttered Mulund west. The restaurant serves cuisines like Chinese, Punjabi, Multicuisine, Mughlai, Sea food, North Indian, Indian, Continental, Goan, Fastfood. Very good dining bar. Best recommendations Chicken Platter etc. The quantity of food is very good so order cautiously to avoid overstuffing yourself. Very nice and curteous staff. Service will never disappoint you. You can also use zomato gold for 2 on 2 drinks here. Usually crowded with waiting time. Valet parking facility is provided by the restaurant for your convenience. You can avail home delivery services from the restaurant. If you are a person who loves to have decent food with a traditional ambiance, this is the place for you.

Vishwa samrat(VS) is a fine dine located at 5raasta in mulund west. This is my all time favourite restaurant for north indian food. It is our family restaurant and I’m visiting this place since almost 15 years now.
Ambience
The ambience is elegant, it is a genuine fine dine.

The service is quick. They are very polite and knowledgeable.

It is luscious!! Perfect to start your meal with. Also, this is the only thing which is decently priced!!! (₹160 and you can opt for 1 by 2)
Starters
Chicken afgani tandoori
It is basically reshmi tandoori or the white tandoori. It is so far, THE BEST I’ve ever had. It is mouth melting and finger licking good!!! Also, the Russian salad served along with it is next to none.
Reshmi tikka
If you like it boneless, go for this one. The marination is superb!!(same as afgani tandoori)
Green tandoori
This was also pretty fine but would recommend to order the Reshmi tandoori only.
Chicken lollipops
The size of chicken wings was greater than what we get at other restaurants. It was tender from inside and crisp on the outside. Also, their schezwan chutney is just amazing!!!
Crispy chicken
When we ordered this dish for the first time, we thought that it was the indo chinese chicken crispy in which chicken is fried and tossed in schezwan sauce, will be served. Instead, chicken strips, coated with fried noodles(thread chicken) was served. The taste was so brilliant that it became our favourite and we ordered it regularly.
Main course
Murg patiala
This is one of the best main course I’ve ever had. It has both green as well as red gravies. Both are finger licking good!! The pieces of chicken are a bit less, because it has omelette in it.
Murg makhanwala
It is One of the best butter chicken I’ve ever had!! Thick and creamy, perfect consistency.
Tawa ghost
The gravy was spicy and delicious. The mutton was evenly cooked. It was served on a plate which actually looked like a tawa, so full marks for presentation too.
Triple sundae
This one is an all time favourite!!! 3 flavours of ice creams served with custard, jelly, fruits and topped with waffer biscuits and nuts!! A perfect dessert to end your meal with!!
Pricing
The north indian food may seem expensive, but it’s completely worth!! The continental food is also priced decently. However, chinese is expensive.
So, would suggest to go for north indian itself.

I had ordered butter chicken and kulcha today ! The packaging was good ! However i found the gravy very oily ! But the Taste was quite superior ! Would recommend this place anydayyy !
I had been to vishwa samrat since my childhood. They serve south India as well as north Indian dishes and snacks. Taste wise it is good.
The food here is scrumptious.. the chicken lollipop here is the best I had.. The Ambience is good and the staff is courteous..!
Vishwa Samrat : The hotel I have been visiting since my toddler days. Their roof top terrace dinner is still a memorable memory for me.

The restaurant was good , but there are too many people are waiting for their table . So this is the bad point of restaurant.
Very good dining bar. Good for drinks and North Indian food. Taste of food is great and service will never disappoint you. It is very affordable and interiors are well done with big screen. Usually crowded with waiting time. You can also use your zomato gold for 2 On 2 drinks here. Starters menu should be more variety and also add some Chinese options .

A decent place to dine and drink in the cluttered Mulund West. There is valet, so don't bother about parking. Loads of peanuts and salad on the house with your drinks. Food tasty. Service prompt. Ambiance cozy. Relatively steep pricing.

The place has great food. Good for groups and families, although reservation on weekends is recommended. There's a ball room too which is available for rent for parties and stuff. The restaurant was recently revamped with a new menu which included Italian cuisine which is recommended. Overall 7/10.

Great food at mid-range prices. Service is good. Seating is average and takes a bit time for you to get a seat on weekends. Menu is limited, but great. Great Konkan dishes. Parking spot is a little difficult to find at peak hours.

VS is as it is called now is an amazing restaurant. its been refurbished into a really good fine dining place. Mulund can hardly boast of fine dining restaurant that comes close to VS s standards.
The food is amazing and at surprising prices. The service is prompt and unassuming. The servers do not hover and let you have a quiet private time but are very prompt in taking orders and serving. they ll even suggest the choices from the menu which is worth a try.
We are definitely going back return customers.
If you are person who loves to have decent food with a traditional ambience , this is the place for you. Pricing seems a lil bit over the line, but at the end of the day expecting everything at cheaper prices is also not fair, am I right fellow foodies????
