I visited Teatrails at Kalaghoda post a ferri ride at Gate way of India .The place is small yet stylish .I tasted the following dishes .
Japanese Matcha shake & Vegan Chocolate pearl shake - both tasted divine .
cranberry iced tea & the better wife cooler flavoured with fresh basil - this is wat you do to beat the Mumbai heat on a sunny afternoon .
Delectable Mushroom & corn veggie toast served with the crispiest french fries I've ever eaten along with mayo salad .
Creamy melt in the mouth cottage cheese served on a bed of grilled to perfection veggies served with herbed rice ,fries & chunky salsa - Meal suited for the Greek Gods.
smoked barbeque paneer veggie maggie -one of a kind only a chef like Anish Deshmukh can come up with such a unique dish.
Thai red veg curry with herbed rice .The aroma of the coconut & thai spices took me to heaven in every sense of the term .
this is the best thai curry iv ever had.
The chocolate brownie waffle with icecream & choco sauce & the fruit melba strawberry banana waffle...both were presented beautifully & tasted spectacular .
The service was a bit slow which they can improve on .Rest i had a nice time here & will surely come back again .

Short review as I visited Tea Trails long back.

COOLERS/SHAKES/ICE TEA:
--------------------------------------------

🔀 VEGAN CHOCOLATE PEARL: The drink was OK. Try it if you like chocolate shakes. Its a bit different.

🔀 MATCHA SHAKE: Lovely!! Don't miss this one. This shake of Matcha green tea is very well made. The best of all the shakes.

🔀 CRANBERRY ICE TEA: If you love cranberry, go for it. I personally don't like cranberry much.

FOOD:
---------

🔀 SMOKED PANEER MAGGI:
Smoky & BBQ-ued. Nice aroma, very well made. Loved it completely. Definitely worth a try.

🔀 MUSHROOM & BABYCORN S/W:

For the 1st time, loved the mushroom & babycorn combo. Tangy and juicy mushroom tossed gently. Must order!!

🔀 COTTAGE CHEESE STEAK PLATTER:
The platter was amazing. Grilled cottage cheese was soft and delicious. Loved this unique creation from Te trails... Now Steak comes in Veg too😄😁😁

DESSERTS:

Had A Fruity Waffle & Chocolate Waffle. Both we're amazing. Loved the Chocolate one more compare to the fresh fruits...

Then comes that pizzas .PIZZA IS ETERNAL💕we had ordered the plain classic perfeeeeeccct crisp thin crust margerita and Mexican pizza which had topping of bell peppers ,jalepenos, spices. It is a small restaurant really small
Starting with food they serve basic food nothing new here
Starting with waffles best is the mega fruity and cocoa waffle the best thing is they have an option of letting u add whipped cream as per your choice
Heading on they have a combined portion for nachos and pasta in menu they only have three types of basic pasta
There edgy fried look something special but taste pathetic as schezwan sauce and chest sauce don't go together
I'm main course they have like a three cheese pizza though it was good I only got the taste of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese unless they consider processed Amul cheese as a cheese I look forward in pizza
In end we had a chocolate eclair which is the only thing I don't have a complain against

I didn't know veg food can be so amazing! POCKET FRIENDLY.

We got invited to this place , we have been to tea trails before but , we didn't like it at all , but this tea trails is great , it's a small place in kala ghoda, with beautiful frames on the will also the art work on the wall give a great look.

Earlier we thought they would have nonveg also but as we came to know they only have veg , we were disappointed. But as the head chef suggested as some awesome food , we happen to love it.

We had,

Kashmiri kawa - which is a apple based drink it was quite good. Also the presentation looks beautiful.

Tea sangria - It's a green tea with almond , I am a fan of green teas , I just love it , and I must say this is nicest green teas i had till now. MUST TRY.

Mexican Pizza- This is my favorite pizza now , this was really unexpected that we could get such delicious pizza better then pizza outlets. MUST TRY

Veg Arabiata pasta -i like Arabiata sauce so I thought it will be great, well this was ok , nuthing special about this pasta.

Paneer Pasto sandwich - This sandwich is loaded with paneer paneer and paneer , it's yummy , the bread are nicely toasted, it has this crispy thing , delicious.

Egg fried rice with Sehezewan sauce- The only nonveg thing they have is this. But I must say this dish is really yummy , also the presentation is amazing, specially the egg it gives an awesome look. MUST TRY.

Deserts
Mega fruity waffle and brownie waffle- Both the waffle were just amazing , brownie waffle is Serviced with icecream and the waffle is made of brownie and chocolate ,and fruity waffle has strawberries and bananas on top of vanilla waffle.

Services was really nice ,the Waiters were very friendly and polite, also the they serve the dishes quickly. Talk to Anish deshmukh he is head chef , you will have a great time.

Overall it's a great place.

If you are a tea lover and would not mind spending time with your friends chit chatting over a cup of tea...this is the place to be!
The place has real good ambiance and very positive vibes. They have a wide variety of tea and also serve some real good stuffs to munch on.
With regards to tea, you should always try the Kalimiri chai (this variant come with milk), lychee bubble tea, tapioca bubble tea and red zen. These are definitely worth trying and you won't repent for sure. The English Breakfast is the most classical, colonial style of tea you could ever enjoy.
Also, do try their gulkand bun maska.  It is something out of the box and worth penny spent. The pizza variants are decently good. But the showstoppers are their salads with tea base...the burmese tea salad, the bulghur salad are very sumptuous and they surely tickle your taste buds.
The seating is a bit cramp but if you get a decent place you wont move for long...a fine casual place to enjoy your tea...

If you're an ardent tea lover or love exploring street food with a twist then head straight to Tea Trails. Located at Kalaghoda , le petite cafe is full of good vibes and great place to chill out with friends.

We started off with" SMOKY PANEER MAGGI"; I was intrigued by the name that I immediately ordered it. It is hybrid version of normal Maggie giving it a twist of smoked paneer in BBQ. It will surely find a place in Maggie fans.

Next in line was "CHEESE PAKODA " ; Delight yourself with a crispy pakoda filled with full of Cheese. A lovely taste and perfect starter to go with Masala tea.

Have you tasted GULKAND BUN-MASKA ; the retro fashion Irani bun maska given a twist with delicious gulkand on the top. A great combination and the twist works . I am definitely gonna come back just for Gulkand bunmaska.

The PASTA ALFREDO ; It's the same story, nothing new in this dish except the creamy sauce. It was okayish.

My love for pizza 🍕 won't end here.. Here comes MARGHERITA PIZZA ; It's a tomato sauce base , topping with basil, mozzarella cheese and home made thin crust. A crispy and crunchy to taste.

Here comes the desserts in the end finally; SIZZLING BROWNIE WITH ICE-CREAM, my favorite chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream is a sheer delight to satiate my desire.

The road to success is not the path you find, but a trail you blaze. Go and get a bite of Happy "TEA" Trails

I went to the Kala Ghodha Tea Trails last week. It's a small, nice place with good interiors. The menu offers quite unique and interesting items, and even tea based salads like the fermented tea Burmese salad. Of course they have a wide variety of hot and cold teas and even bubble tea. I recommend the Cheese Garlic Bread, Cheese Chilli Bruschetta, Gulkand Bun Maska, bubble teas (loved tapioca), Edgy Veggie Routine and Brownie Waffles. Also tried the Spaghetti Aglio Olio, that was ok. The rice was ok too.

The WiFi was not working as it was asking to login from a new browser and the browser wasn't showing login page. Since it's a cafe/tea place, I do expect a smooth and quick WiFi

In terms of food, quite liked it. Do recommend

It was one of those days when I was out cafe hopping with my sister and we decided to grab a quick bite here. First look at this cafe and I couldn't help but fall in love with the vibes. The staff was welcoming and the ambience was just perfect with the lights and music. They've come up with new additions to their menu which gives us a lot more options to choose from. We ordered Detox tea which was refreshing and was very rich in flavour. Along with Detox we also ordered Imperial Gun Powder Green Tea which had a substantial flavour and slightly nutty aroma, green tea lovers should try this one from their menu.
From their 'EATS' menu we ordered the Edgy Veggie Fries, Veg Creamy Basil Pesto Pasta, Burmese Tea Salad and Chocolate Waffles.
Edgy Veggie Fries: This one was twisted with Schezwan Sauce/Chutney added to it and loads of cheese. So far the best fries I've tasted.
Veg Creamy Basil Pesto Pasta: Not at all bad but wasn't yummy either. I was expecting it to be creamy but it was a bit too dry and tasted to plain. The presentation was good though.
Burmese Tea Salad: Full marks for the salad. This dish is something i would highly recommend everybody to try. It was an awesome combination of soft tea leaves, roasted peanuts and other crunchy beans served with sesame dressing.
Chocolate waffles: Am still drooling over those yummy Chocolate Waffles. It took almost 20 mins to serve but the moment I took the first bite, I realised the wait was worth it.

Recommended:
Detox Tea
Edgy Fries
Burmese Salad

Tea Trails is a place for everybody and anybody. You can walk in for a quick bite or a date or even a meeting.

Tea Trails. Going by the name itself, it leads you to an image of a tea covered journey ahead of you waiting to be explored and so is the place. It does perfect justice to its name. This newest tea brewery in town, does indeed have a lot to offer. With tea leaves from all over the world, and a huge variety of food to serve, they are really trying their best to bring back the true tea culture of India. The silver tea was a very smooth subtle tea with an extremely refreshing aroma. They made it in the traditional style and had the perfect apparatus for the tea brewing process. On their list they had a variety of teas, ranging from the blooming flower tea with a strong fragrance and a soothing taste to the lapsong sochung which was a strong and highly oxidizing one. Experiencing each one of them was a visual treat as well as a treat to the tongue. We had the perfect combination of a bun maska to accompany it as also a palmier to go with the tea. The kulhad chai, or the traditional Indian man’s cup of tea was an extremely refreshing one too. Masaledar, kadak and the most aromatic tea in India, it was a great company to the onion pakodas it was served with. We got our tea facts right with the co-owner of this place, Mrs. Kavita Mathur who was kind enough to share her experiences about the different types of teas in the world. The most refreshing one was the bubble tea. Traditionally, a Taiwanese tea, they made some modifications from the tapioca bobas to mango and lychee flavours to serve the taste of one and all. They had little balls of tea in the iced tea which burst in your mouth and give an extremely amazing feel to it. It definitely is one of the kind. It was quite a lovely drink which would definitely suit everyone's taste. Since this outlet is a bistro, they serve some kickass food too. We were spoilt for choice when we had a look at the menu. Starting with a Traditional Burmese Tea Infused Salad, it had quite a crunch due to the peanuts and the dal in it. The veggies in it were infused with the green tea sauce which gave it a bitter sweet taste. They had an added on twist to the Classic Bruschetta too. It was the most filling bruschetta ever and was covered with veggies as well as a basil and green tea infused paste. Their Cottage Cheese Platter too had a taste of the marinated cottage cheese where the marination was none other than of green tea. It might be a bit skeptical to imagine but the taste of green tea was such that it did not overpower any of the dishes. Next we had Smoked Cottage Cheese Sandwich. It was a bit sweet to taste and had a mixture of caramelized onions and cottage cheese wrapped in the bread. The taste was strong in this one. We had their Three Cheese Risotto with green tea as well. It was a star dish for us. The sauce with the risotto was olive and green tea infused and it made the taste subtle yet flavourful. It complimented the cheeses very well. The Olive and Green Tea Hummus was extremely mouth-watering and the pita bread was so soft that it melted inside the mouth. The flavours of all dishes were very intact and subtle. They had some seasonal corn on the cobs and also the cheese corn tikki. They were very well balanced and had us all drooling over them. Next we flushed down the herbal tea to keep us refreshed with a strong mixture of hibiscus and chamomile, and this one was definitely a heaven for tea lovers. After that we tried some of their desserts including the Black Forest Pastry, Red Velvet, the Mixed Fruit and the classic Dutch Truffle. All the desserts were true to their tastes and flavours as also they had their own traditional touches to them. Over all it was a wonderful experience and also a great evening. If you love tea, then please do visit and even if you don't love tea, you must, because they will definitely make you love it. Ambience: 4/5 Taste Quotient: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5
