A small restaurant located in Borivli. the interior was simple. Had ordered a Mini Thali that consisted of various vegetable items, Puris, Papad, rice, pickle etc. It tasted really delicious. The quantity was good. The service was good. That ambience was good. The prices were reasonable. Overall, a good place for delicious South Indian food.

I often visit this place and it is a very old udipi joint. The South Indian food is very good. Will recommend the Pav bhaji. Ample place to sit and also has a separate air-conditioned section. Service is quick..
Aah very good restaurant with varities of South Indian dishes. It is situated in a good location not so far from Borivali station.it is also the landmark of many tour and travels agency from where regular buses starts towards the different part of Maharashtra and South India. Overall experience of this restaurant was very good. Staffs are well behaved and customer friendly

I used to avoid this restaurant because of the overall rating suggested by the users on internet. The only thing which was bothering me was how this old resturant is still running ? Even when the reviews are bad, so finally decided to visit it.
It's a good resturant for someone who is looking for South Indian food and I do visit this gokul restaurant frequently and now writing this review having their filter coffee 🙂

Good place for eating out. Gokul Hotel is in Borivali West, Opp Pai Nagar which is a good location as many outstation luxury buses leaves from here. Quite popular among travellers for quick bite before boarding to bus. Gokul Hotel is still having their old interior... The ceiling and the floor tiles will take you to your olden days when having dinner in hotel was luxury. Nice ambiance, Neat and clean place.
This hotel is know for it's south Indian food.
Last week I ordered Punjabi Dish.. Veg Makkhanwala, Dal Tadka and Butter Roti. Quantity was good enough for Two Adults and a kid. Food was good in taste. Dal Tadka was great, Veg Makkhanwala was above average. Staff was good they were not in a hurry to stand in front of you and asking to give order.... we took almost 10 minutes to order the food but they were very patient.
To sum up good budget hotel with good quality food
Food is very delicious and tasty. Good option to have lunch and dinner before boarding your bus.
