Global Chaos located in Fort next to City Co-op Bank. Very easy to spot serves you a wide range of global dishes from Vietnamese to England, from India to Asia. Got a chance to visit this lovely place with dim lights and strong interiors. The staff is well mannered and polite. Got a center seat along with a friend. The music bounces from Tech House to Deep House in the background which kinda keeps the pace on while eating and socializing. My first mocktail was the Thai cooler which had an amazing loud flavor of Lemongrass and a mixture of mango and pineapple juice. Lots of ice and a cherry at the bottom, a must have drink. I quickly ordered the watermelon and feta cheese salad. Absolute stunner. This is my fav salad and I really look for the prep and presentation when I eat anywhere and GC did a fantastic job on it. Next up were the Vietnamese Summer Rolls. Now if you don't really like to eat Raw veggies/salad then these Vietnamese rolls are just what you need in your life. Juliens of raw carrots cabbage and Bell peppers in a spicy sauce wrapped around a thin rice sheet served with a patron BBQ sauce is the best dish to have. It's light on the plate and pocket too. Our 2nd starter was the Pajeon which is a mince prawns cake mixed with Bell peppers and onions served with soy and sesame sauce. This dish was quite bold when it came as it was very soft and hot at the same time, so if you lose time here and eat it at room temp, it's not that fun. Relish it as soon as its on your table. Next was the Gehu Tukda Paneer Tikka our very own Indian amaze. Soft Paneer grilled amazingly and topped with caramelized gehu thats what I feel as the Gehu were lightly sweet. A standard green chutney with a tiny portion of onion carrot salad is served. Purely Indian. Then came the Butter garlic prawns. Another strong dish with a blast of garlic, butter fragrance and fine diced Bell peppers. From the European section the Baked Brie is the best. Do order that. By now we were stuffed with the awesomesauceness and wanted to save space for the desserts, but then we decided to order the Margarita pizza and believe me, order this pizza blind folded. It's one of the best margaritas I've had in Mumbai. Well cooked cheese along with cherry tomatoes and basil and oh my god that thin crust. This dish takes it all man. Do order this pizza when you visit. Finally we ended our global food trip with the Hazelnut mousse with torched sugar and the ever awesome Blueberry Pannacotta. You have to eat the pannacotta. It's very very very well made. It has that perfect blueberry flavor, the cake has a perfect bounce and consistency is rad. To our surprise they got a green tea beaker on our table and made a strawberry green tea in front of us. Just that perfect refreshment what we needed after these amazing items in our tummy. Yet to eat from this place. Chef Chingy Patel is nailing and ruling this place. Fantastic.

The food is very nice. Global cuisine available. Although it's restaurant and bar the ambiance is more of a fine dine. Even family can enjoy at this place . Staff is very helpful too.

Mexican adobo chicken at Global Chaos Kitchen & Bar.
It is an adobo rubbed chicken sliced with mozzarella served with twice baked potato, bacon and sour cream. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the twice baked potato tastes amazing.
The staff is extremely friendly and the service is quick. The ambience is good, however reserving a table is recommended. A little heavy on the pocket but worth it for the varied items it serves.
If you love chicken, this is the dish you should try! ✨
Follow @thehungryhuman on instagram for more!

Definitely lives up to the name. Total CHAOS!! Service was ridiculous. We were placed at the bar to wait for a table. First table that opened was given to other people who came in after us. No menus were given to us, we had to fetch it ourselves after asking for menus and no one bringing them to us. We wanted to place our order food, and asked the barman if we can place our food order from him. After collecting a paper, he started taking our orders with no idea what is on the menu. We then managed to get a appointed waiter, they had no stock available for the apple cider pork chops. One order was placed wrong, after showing in the menu what we would like. When following up and telling them that this is not what we ordered, he insisted that he had repeated the order to us and we agreed. I then asked to see the order sheet, he allegedly already threw away the paper.

The food was tasty (even though we would never choose the seemingly bland plain butter fried rice with chicken). I had the wild mushroom risotto.

Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, except if your not in ANY rush to be seated, eat and leave.

I had booked a table on Saturday night at wee hours. When I informed them I would be late by 15 minutes, very courteously they accommodated me and my friends. Service was a bit slow but we didn't mind. The cheese sauce was very less in Nachos and when asked for some more, they didn't even bother to get. But overall the vegetarian food was delicious. Dimly lit, the place is quite comfy. Ambience is good.

Food is sort of good but I feel its bit on the expensive side expecially Indian food. Also nachos quality is not that great. They need to chnage the nachos being used. I wanted to eat Indian but checking the price of roti gave me burn in the pocket and heart so I won't recommend for Indian food lovers.

With much expectations we chose this place for a dinner with Friends. The corn and chipotle bisque soup though a bit tepid was extremely palatable. The fatayer seemed overpriced and so did the pulled chicken sliders. The biggest let down was the KHORESH FESENJAN CHICKEN. Steeply priced at Rs. 635 it was a reasonably just Ok kind of gravy but the chicken pieces were tough and mostly cartilage. Hardly something to look forward to from a high end dining place. When we informed the waiter all he could garner was .."ok. I will inform the kitchen" and then he promptly disappeared. The only saving grace was the mocktail DIVA and a great combination of coconut, fresh cream and pineapple. Another name for pina colada I would say.
Please don't visit this place with high expectations.

Great ambience and can be best experienced during night time, service is good and has great music. It has great food with variety of cuisines.

Caesar salad with chicken was ok ok , the pulled chicken slider was great totally recommended to try here. Portofino chicken tenders was sweet which Portugal spice punch it had a different flavour profile which was rustic and oddly good.

For main course we had cheesy ravioli with chicken it had an amazing sauce garlicky sauce and smoked scarmoza cheese totally yum. We also tried the enchiladas which seemed quite heavy because of the beans but had amazing flavours

For dessert we had the zomato recommended choco lava it had amazing flavour and the chocolate fondant sorbet was mind blowing with the brownie soil overall amazing dessert but sadly the lava didnt ooze out thats the only negative.

Food - 10/10
Ambience - 8/10
Service - 10/10
VFM - 9/10

This place is located on a busy street and thankfully they have a valet. The place looks small from outside but as soon as you enter you realise it's far bigger than it appears. The place is very well decorated with yellow lights and wooden interiors giving a more natural feel to it. We sat on the first floor and the tables are well spaced and chairs are very comfortable. The staff is very courteous too with their suggestions and service in general.
Coming to food, we ordered about 8 dishes between 5 of us. The portion size is perfect not too little not too much. We ordered a paneer pizza with onions as toppings. The 12" pizza with the thin crust looked spectacular and tasted just as well as it looked. The crust was just perfect in thickness. We ordered penne pasta in Alfredo sauce and it was one of the best pastas i have had. The flavour was cheesy and garlicky with perfect combination of sauce and pasta. Definitely order this. We ordered fully loaded nachos and it was quite loaded with beans jalepeno capsicums and loads of cheese sauce. We called for veg setien slider which is basically a spicy stuffing in baby burger buns. It looked very cute and tasted fairly average but worth a try. We called for four Asian dishes and all were cooked to perfection. The burnt chilly garlic rice along with hot garlic gravy was the highlight of our dinner. The gravy was spicy served with exotic veggies and loads of garlic. The rice had perfect mix of flavour with burnt red chilli and garlic. The combination was out of this world. Almost full to the brim but wanting to eat more, we ordered butter garlic noodles and shizuan chilli sauce and both were excellent but the combination was probably a bad idea. The noodles had amazing garlicky flavour and the butter soaked noodles enhanced the flavour. Have it individually and the you can feel the flavour but having it with a gravy masked it's rich flavour.
We also ordered two mocktails and both were excellent especially the gin cin apple jack. It tasted so good we ordered two more. The other one we asked for cranberry flavour mocktail which wasn't on the menu but the waiter was kind enough to get for us. It was great but not better than the apple jack.
This place is family friendly. We had an infant input group and the staff is very well trained. All in all we had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend this place.

After having a pleasant evening at the seafront, we decided to head out to Global Chaos for dinner. We were there quite early and and the place was too empty for a Sunday with a table occupied in its two - floored area. The ambience is decent enough with dim lighting. The tables are huge, well spaced out have a comfortable seating. Coming to the music. it's upbeat and hip and you'd love it but the place isn't that happening as one would hope for.

We ordered the Spicy Creamy Baby Potatoes (4/5) & the Mexican Adobo Paneer (4/5). The Spicy Creamy Baby Potatoes has boiled baby potatoes covered in a creamy sauce topped with chili flakes which one would normally find in pastas except that it was spicy. Personally, I really liked this combination and would recommend it. The Mexican Adobo Paneer was good too and tasted like one is having a cottage cheese steak covered in sour cream. Adobo is a paste or marinade made from chillies, vinegar, herbs, and spices, used in Mexican cooking.

Overall, a nice place to chill with your family and friends.

Food: 4/5
Staff: 5/5
Ambience: 3/5

Had been here for the 10 course tasting menu. If you have to want to enjoy food here you must be hungry for days together. A feedback we gave them was the quantity of food. Its impossible to eat 10 full meals. The quantity should be as per tasting only. We could not really enjoy the food post the 5th course. We had to actually ask them to get all our future meals and keep them in front if us so we knew how much is actually left. We really liked the taste of the food but the quantities were too big so we couldn't relish the food. Hopefully they will better this and we would go back to experience this again.

After hearing a lot about the place and seeing the menu this place was on my to go list. I have been there twice now. The first time we went there for a quick meal during office. We ordered for Ramen bowl which was decent. The portions are quite good. However, the service wasn't that great. Their staff definitely needs more training. The second time we went there for dinner. The Mexican nachos were nothing to rave about but the most decent dish for the evening. The Paneer TiKka we ordered was chewy and tasteless. The waiters need to be informed as to what is there on their menu and what it contains. The main course we ordered for a penne pesto pasta. The past was well cooked but the gravy was way to cheesy. Overall wasn't a great experience wasn't a bad one either.

Ambience is good. Apart from that everythin is sad. The forks given to eat were not cleaned. Highly expensive. Half of the food and drinks on the menu are not available. Just written there for the sake of writing. The menu has all big big names but you feel sad for yourself for ordering such food when you are served. We left the place after having appetizers and had dinner at good old Bade Miyan.

The food was nice and yummy.

Global Chaos is a new age Cream Centre and Bombay Blues. It is a multi cuisine restaurant that focuses on highlights from major cuisines of the world. They have a large and extensive menu from Indian, Mexican, Pizzas, Pastas, Thai some Chinese and even Vietnamese.
The restaurant is a split level with limited seating downstairs but a larger area upstairs.
We visited the place for an office dinner on a Monday and was surprised to find it completely empty.
We ordered Nachos, Potato Wedges and a Paneer Tikka among the appetizers The food was upto the mark, not particularly outstanding. but portion sizes were a little small compared to pricing.
Loved the pizzas, they were crisp thin very well seasoned. The Enchiladas were also very very good and had a generous portion.
The Asian Curries and Rice were also delicious, particularly loved the Thai Red curry but the portion sizes were extremely small for the price.
The service is a little sloppy, they failed to give napkins to us and when some water was spilled, took no measure to clean it and after we repeatedly asked for tissues, were given two paper napkins to wipe the table.
The servers didn't understand that portions ordered have to be equally served to all guests so some guests didn't get some of the dishes ordered
A good place to catch up for dinner, but an expensive affair. Not particularly value for money. Would average to 1000 per head non inclusive of drinks and dessert

We went there with high expectations and the place was nowhere near it. We were disappointed with the taste and quality of the food.
Chicken loaded nachos and all veg pizza were the only dishes that we liked slightly more than the rest.
Chettinad potato wedges, paneer tikka, pesto pizza, Tomato & lemon leaf curry were not upto the mark.
I would not recommend this place for Vegetarians.
Nonveg might be better than veg.
One more observation, napkins were not kept ready on the table and were provided only when asked for.

We were here to try the all new, all day cafe menu. First up im going to give them points just for having an all day menu. For people like myself who end up having a late lunch, places like these ensure we are well fed even after 4 PM!

Tried the following dishes and loved pretty much everything:

1) Herbed Cream Cheese and Salmon Waffle - this was a delight to eat and was as pretty as a pcture - golden brown, sun kissed waffles with light pink salmon topped with white and green sauce - just brilliant

2) Pancakes with Blueberry, butter and whipped cream - an absolute delight, extremely fluffly, well cooked pancakes

3) Masala French Fries - coz meals are incomplete without potato!

4) Grilled Falafel Pita POcket - this healthy version was extremely mouth - smackingly delicicous

5) Japanese Ramen - this was part of the dinnner menu and the broth was easily the most flavourful one i have had. Good body to the dish.

6) Lemon Iced Tea - quite delicious

7) Cappucino - frothy and creamy

Had a lovely experience dining here. The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly and make you feel at home. A must visit!

Absolutely chaotic, the crowd the food was below the standard. As a tourist I was really disappointed with the food. Ordered konkani prawns which were terrible. Completely undercooked. The only thing that was good was the drinks.

I think the place is nice with a good combination of cuisines... we were in the mood for indian so tried some chicken kebabs and some meat kebabs.. both brilliantly made. Their drinks are also good.. overall a great experience.. we were not sure this place permitted pets..figured eventually. Definitely a place to get good food and take ur pets for an evening out!

Last Night been there with my wife and office colleagues , from doorman to manager everyone was humble , knew their work of servicing. Food was good and ambience was too good.

Would recommend to everyone .

Only one thing please refrain from allowing families with small kids as it creates issues to other.

We went to this place to try their one of a kind '10 course meal' and man are we happy?! Firstly, the place has a pretty good ambience. They've a ground and a first floor setup and enough space for a huge crowd. We had made reservations since it was a Saturday night but even if we hadn't I don't think we would have to wait long for a table. One thing that deserves a mention is their prompt service. The place was pretty full with people but the staff still managed to serve us smoothly. As for the meal that we went for, it was outstanding. We ordered a veg and a non veg meal and were happy with both. Each of the 10 courses was different in their taste, base and presentation. Enough options of meats for the meat lovers too. There wasn't a single dish that we did not enjoy. And for the price that they offer, it's a steal. The only downside is that the portions are too large for one person. So by the 4th course you're full and can't enjoy the rest of the meal to the fullest. And this applies for foodies and people with a good appetite as well. It's called a tasting menu so if the management reduces the portions to half, they would end up saving on the food and people will actually look forward to finishing the entire meal as well. The mocktail options are few but different from the ones you find regularly. All and all, a brilliant experience. Would love to try another one of their spread, if they plan one and smaller portions, please! Definitely recommended!

It was a worst experience they don't know which drink to serve in which glass we had ordered for long Island drink but it was served in regular glass when we returned the drink than also they charged in the invoice

Chaos !!! yes , it was Friday night , uncivilized group of bankers shouting & screaming at top of their voices and loud music Compliments of Global Chaos !! had to ask the waiter for Ear-Plugs , unfortunately they did not have them, speaking of waiters , they really need to be educated about serving and by serving I mean simple serving, i.e. Green chutney`s is to be served along with Starters or should be ready on table before the Starters are served and not AFTER the Starter's are eaten and we Mumbaikar`s love Ketchup on our Pizza`s , it needed 3 reminders to get that wonderful red stuff that is close to so many of our hearts, another problem with this restaurant is, their kitchen is on the ground floor, food is sent up through Food Lift, however , by the time food reaches your table its demoted from Hot to Luke Warm , which includes Pizza`s & Starters , last but not the least, these guys are Stingy , when it comes to Chutney`s , Ketchup`s Onions , we were 4 of us and we were given exact 4 slices of Onions and one Lemon slice , Phew !!!! now enough of complaints , the ambiance and location is nice , specially for SoBo crowd , the food is good { pricey though } , Crockery is good, one must try out their Gehu Tukda Stuffed Paneer which is very well made , this restaurant though its Multi Cuisine is Jain Friendly, so go give a try

I am sure the management will take cues from Guest`s suggestions and complaints

I'd been here when it had just started. I went on a weekday since I wanted to try out a new place and have some indian appetiser. The place hadn't picked up and also maybe because it was a weekday, most of the tables were unoccupied. The place gave a fine dine feel. The interiors pretty okay, nothing worth talking about. I had their Kasundi Chicken Tikka which was good. It was filling so I couldn't order much really. I may/may not go there again. Found it to be very okay.

Nice ambience, bar table looks good n clean. The waiters are very humble while taking order. Nice interior. Had pasta with white sauce, tacos with cheese great taste. Be with ur frds or family sitting arrangements is proper.
Rashida Sharafally
I visited the restaurant on 14th Feb with my niece n we ordered a couple of drinks n our food. We were busy chatting n didn't realise that we weren't being served our meal while the other guests were merrily enjoying their meal. When we asked we were rudely told that our meal would take half an hour and that it was just 20 mins. We didn't have an issue with the meal being late but an issue with the way we were spoken to. I asked for the manager and he came n spoke to us in a similar tone. Theodias is the name of the manager. He asked me to take our meal but since my niece was in a hurry, she had her meal there. He had the audacity of telling me my meal was on the house like he was doing me a favour.

The manager as well as the waiters need some train in customer service n how to speak to a client. Even the owner appeared quite indifferent to my complaint. It is so sad since the food there is quite good

Global Chaos, Fort has launched a new Café menu.
In the picture, I present potato waffles with a parmesan, tomato and wild berry confit adjacent to an olive and aragula oil soaked lettuce salad.

The confit was pretty much on point, the freshness of the flavours with the herby, wilderness of pepper was tantalising to the tongue.

Reviewed Global Chaos's new Café menu today.
The #Nutella #Milkshake was thick; laden with icecream and whipped cream which gave it a mellifluous velvety texture. It was delicious to say the least.

#cheese is God's gift to mankind. The cow is truly our mother. The smoked cheese and mushroom sandwich was an absolute delight with abundant #mushrooms and the #bacon ish flavour of smoked cheese. There was an indescribable buttered garlic and onion puree coating the bottom. Heaven in each bite with the taut, sultry mushrooms.

Global chaos as the name suggests serves you cuisine from around the world. You have variety of options in starters as well as mains.
Although it's kitchen+bar+cafe it has one of the best fine dine ambiance and you can surely visit with your family.
We had cheesy chicken tikka - succulent chicken marinated in a cheesy tandoori marinade and full marks for presentation... A must try .
Cajun Spiced cubes of sea basa - This was Asian cuisine dish which had and spicy and sweet after taste that would just increase your appetite and activate ur taste buds.
Portofino chicken tenders : The one dish that was a bit bland if you don't have it Portuguese chilly rub sauce.
Moroccon pesto crusted chicken wings : This is were chicken lollypops in spicy Moroccan marinade . This was nice too.

The quantity and quality and presentation of the dishes served as well as the service was top class.

One good thing was they asked us if they want us to be charged with service charge.
Global Chaos
Good place for family dining. Reasonably priced. Corn and chipotle soup was nice. Tried Loaded Nachos and Morroccon Chicken for starters. Nachos was nice but Chicken was not up to the mark, it was bland. Thin crust pizza is ok. Wild mushroom rissoto is worth a try. Won't mind dining here again...

A very famil restaurant like ambience with offers on drinks like vodka and beer bucket. Food is decent and the staff is very friendly. They even asked us if they wanted to pay a service charge of 10%

Food is very very ordinary. Not terrible but there are far better options in the area for the same price. The bathroom stinks, which is really unacceptable.

When I had the taste for Asian cuisine, I decided to raid this place and relish on some mouth-watering dishes. The place was very empty for a Saturday afternoon. Only 3 tables were occupied including ours. I was super disappointed to learn there was no Sushi on the menu. But there were a couple of other dishes that made up for it. We had grilled Chicken in Harrissa paste and Moroccan Couscous with Lamb. Both were interesting. The Harrissa paste was very strong and I am not sure if it suits the Indian taste buds well. The Couscous with Lamb was very, very delicious. Quantity is great. Two people can have one portion sufficiently.
The Tasting Trails
We stumbled across this gem while exiting a very chaotic Kala Ghoda Festival. In the midst of watching our step and fending off hawkers, we chanced up Global Chaos and weren't particularly inclined to enter. Reluctantly we did, and we're surprised to find a rather welcoming restaurant with chic interiors, albeit empty, in the middle of the day. What cemented our decision to stay was the incredible menu, particularly the bar menu. In a city filled with new bars springing up almost everyday, we're all usually spoilt for choice and overwhelmed, that we invariably end up at places we usually frequent on the regular.

We were glad we stayed, not merely for the food, but for the unbelievably cheap prices for both imported and IMFL alcohol. For the amount we ate and drank (the same ratio, give or take a few drinks here and there, at somewhere like the Irish House), which would have cost us at least 8k, we ended up paying less than half of that, and were too full to continue after.

This definitely is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food, and even better alcohol, at a rather humble rate. I recommend this place to anyone in the neighbourhood looking to have a budget-friendly good time! And if you do visit, definitely sit at the bar and ask for Rahul. He's a friendly face that is always eager to help.

Until now, Global Chaos has managed to mark their territory in the food arena, as far as delicacies from across the globe are concerned. Recently they came up with their new cafe menu which includes lighter, friendlier as well as various quick dishes which you can munch on in between deadly working hours.
We started off with the basics. Lemon Iced Tea and Nutella Shake were served. The lemon iced tea hit us with a sharp tang. The taste was a bit too sour. It definitely could have been better.
Coming to the nutella shake, it was by far the best one that we have had. Perfectly thick, it was a sweet one with the perfect hazelnut taste. The proportions were on point and extremely well balanced. The best part was the nutella at the base of the drink. It is a must try!
We then had the Mozzarella Onion Rings to munch upon as well. Huge slices of onion stacked with mozzarella and deep fried. Sprinkled with chilli powder and served with thousand island mayonnaise, this one was crunchy, gooey as well as spicy. It was pretty decent.
Blueberry Pancakes were the next one on the menu. Served with maple syrup and a buttery blend of whipped cream, these perfect little blankets of pancakes were stuffed with blueberry compote. The flavour of the compote stroke the correct balance between sweet and sour. These were soft as well as fluffy and ticked off all the boxes for pancakes.
Moving on, we had the Mexican Fajita Pasta. These were spicy, flavoured as well as totally delicious. They were made in a delicious pool of flavours from different veggies. Definitely, one of a kind! The All Veg Pizza was an 8-inch thin crust delicacy which was loaded, not just with veggies but with loads of cheese as well. The base was perfect as well as crunchy but the sauce could have been seasoned a bit better.
Last on our list were the Belgian Waffles. Thin and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these waffles were delicious. Loads of Belgian sauce smeared across these waffles made it even better.
The new menu has a lot to offer. If you haven't visited them yet, then this surely is a correct time to start!

Ambience: 4/5
Taste Quotient: 4.5/5
Service: 4/5

Global chaos, located at Fort is perfectly eye catching as you walk on the streets of Mumbai University. Yes, today's review is all about the cafe menu at Global chaos which is available all day long!

To begin with we were recommended to order the chicken popcorn and Murg tikka pizza. I couldn't be more bias to either since I thoroughly enjoyed both the dishes to the fullest! The freshly fried popcorn chicken with some fresh veggies balances the lovely flavours and makes up for a good snacky munch. The pizza on the other side, was thin crust (just how I'd prefer) and balanced the spices and chicken combination, not being too spicy of course! We then called for creamy pesto Spaghetti and White sauce penne. The creamy pesto was as creamier as mentioned and delicately garnished with pine nuts to enjoy the nutty crunch in between every creamy morsel! The white sauce penne is the average pasta that you'd generally indulge in at any continental place. You can skip that bit. We then wanted to try London Fish & Chips burger which was a classic fish burger but this time rather served in a black bun with the traditional fries. Nice, simple and felt homely after indulging it. To complete our hearty meals we then called for Belgian waffles which were soft, Nutella coated and served with chocolate ice-cream. I would rate an over all 3/5 for the desert served.

The cafe menu food is fresh, light, and makes up for a good all day long indulgence with a group of friends to chill by. We enjoyed the food and look forward to seeing Global Chaos soon!

January 2017

I had been invited to Global Chaos earlier when they had launched their restaurant and found it to be a promising place in terms of the food offered. They have recently introduced an all-day Café menu which offers some popular contemporary dishes.

I was invited once again by Global Chaos to review their new menu. I accepted the invite based on my previous experience, hoping it will be as gratifying as the previous one.

MEXICAN PATTIE BURGER [INR 250]
The pattie had a Mexican flavour to it all the way. It was infused with boiled and mashed corn kernels, mashed potatoes and some chipotle powder. It was crunchy and mildly flavoured. The Bun was beetroot infused and was soft, with a generous sprinkling of white sesame on top.

SMOKED CHEESE & MUSHROOM SANDWICH [INR 250]
A very nicely prepared sandwich; the mushrooms were soft, chewy and sautéed with some herbs. It was lightly grilled to erfection with some smoked cheese. I love mushrooms hence ordered it right away and it was yummy.
RECOMMENDED

PENNE ARRABIATA PASTA [INR 300]
The base sauce had just about the right tanginess from the tomatoes, the appropriate amount of garlic and the vegetables in the apt proportion. The Penne Pasta was not Al-Dente but it was not overcooked and of the correct size. This dish was perfect to the “T”
RECOMMEDED

PANEER MAKHNI PIZZA [INR 250]
An 8 inch thin crust Pizza was layered with mild spiced tomato sauce, topped with black olives, jalapenos, onion slices and paneer cubes marinated in makhni dressing. The Paneer cubes were soft and fresh. The makhni dressing was very nice, it was mildly spicy and all the Paneer cubes were nicely coated in it.
RECOMMENDED

APPLE GINGER JUICE [INR 250]
Packaged Apple juice was infused with ginger concentrate. The flavour was nice.

POMEGRANATE BASIL JUICE [INR 250]
Packaged Pomegranate juice was shaken with a few basil leaves and served. The taste was slightly on the bitter side maybe fresh juice would have made it taste different.

Global Chaos lived up to the expectation I had visited them with. On both the occasions, the food and its presentation had a flair and signature of the diverse experience that Chef Chingy Patel has gained.

Will I be back for more, hell Yes!

=================================================================

September 2016

“You must have Chaos within you to give birth to a STAR” – Friedrich Nietzche

Global Chaos is managed by two brothers; Chef Chingy Patel & Somesh Patel. The kitchen is headed by Chef Chingy, alma mater of César Ritz Colleges, Switzerland and Le Cordon Bleu.

The menu has been fashioned nicely and is true to the concept of the restaurant, has a global touch to it. The menu ranges from native Indian, Asian, European, American, Middle Eastern and some from Africa as well.

The ambience has no element of chaos in it; they have left it to the menu. Nice wooden furniture and flooring, ambient lighting, a good amount of space between each table makes it a decent layout.

We were provided with a set menu and had to choose from the same.

CORN & CHIPOTLE BISQUE [INR 175]
Char-roasted corn is blended into a fine puree with chipotle chilies. The soup exudes a wonderful flavour of the corn but I found the chipotle chili conspicuous by its absence but yet worth a try.
RECOMMENDED

MALTA SOAKED COUS COUS SALAD [INR 250]
A decent beetroot flavoured Couscous salad with some bell pepper and feta cheese.

ASIAN SLAW [INR 300]This salad was a very nice mixture of sprouted beans, Chinese cabbage, carrots. This finely julienned salad was then glazed / tossed with a sweet & spicy sauce and served in a cabbage leaf.
RECOMMENDED

ASPARAGUS PHYLLO SPEARS [INR 300]
Having cut his teeth at Cezar Ritz College, Switzerland and European cuisine being his specialty; this dish was as a hit from the word GO. Nicely baked & crisp phyllo, subtle cheese flavour and a crunchy Asaparagus rolled into it; did justice to expectations from it. It was served a pomegranate based sauce.

HINDI CHINI BHAI BHAI [INR 300]
This dish is Chef Chingy’s fusion of a very popular Indian street food; Golgappe or Pani Puri. Wasabi coated Paneer, mashed chickpeas and sprouted beans filled in a puri shell and served with a tangy, chili and sweetish pani in shot glasses.
RECOMMENDED

SEITIAN SLIDER [INR 350]
Seitan is a protein rich food made from wheat gluten and it has meat like texture. It’s used in many dishes which are the vegetarian version of their famous non-vegetarian cousins. The small sized Sliders were red and green, the colour being derived from beetroot & spinach. They were filled with a slaw, seitan tossed in a sweet spicy barbeque sauce.

HOT GARLIC COTTAGE CHEESE & BUTTER GARLIC NOODLES [INR 300]
Oriental food as authentic as it should be in the form of this dish. I guess this one was off the menu. The Cottage Cheese was huge, chunky and nicely soaked in the gravy. The gravy was largely dominated by garlic and some red chili. The buttery and garlicy flavoured noodles complemented the spicy gravy perfectly.
RECOMMENDED.

SOUTH AFRICAN BUNNY CHOW [INR 450]
Mild spicy vegetable gravy with lots of mushrooms, cooked to a semi-thick consistency was served in a square shaped hollowed loaf of bread. The gravy had a very nice flavour and was prepared without any chili being added to it. The portion size is too much for 2 people.I discovered that this dish was invented by an Indian who had migrated to South Africa 7-8 decades ago.
RECOMMENDED.

PAJAM NOORUKU [INR 300]
This dish was the star of evening, an apt closure for a nice meal.A delicious mixture of ripe banana’s cooked with dark jaggery and a generous addition of Sultana [seedless raisins]. This mixture was wrapped in a paper thin edible sheet and baked crisp. It was served with crème anglaise or light custard with pouring consistency. The pastry or the cover was crisp and had a salty taste. The stuffing was sticky, gooey and sweet, the level of sweetness was perfect in spite of using so many sweet ingredients. The meal could not have ended on a better note.
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED

THAI GRASSHOPPER [INR 250]
Mango & Pineapple juice were mixed with kaffir lime leaves and basil.

THE STREET [INR 250]
To me this was a desi Jaljeera like drink infused with some raw mango pulp which lent it a tangy flavour and topped with some lime base sprinkling drink.

GREEN TEA
Somesh Patel was kind enough to come to each & every table and demonstrate their method of preparing Green Tea. The entire experience was like looking a miniature chemistry lab in progress.
We were given a sample of Strawberry Green Tea which was brewed in front of us. They can prepare Green Tea using fruits, vegetables and even using spirits.

Service was a letdown at times. They forgot to serve us the soup upfront; it was served after the appetizers and that too after reminding them about it. As the evening progressed and more customers started walking in, the service got slower. They need to analyse if they need more staff to man the tables especially when the tables are fully occupied.

Each dish reflects the hardwork Chef Chingy has put in behind the curating the menu. They plan to revamp the menu after every four months to make best use of the seasonality and to spoil the customers for choice. With the current options, Global Chaos has brought a semblance of order vis-à-vis the taste and flavours on the platter.

Way to go Chef Chingy, Somesh Patel & the team of Global Chaos!

Food Quality – 4/5
Food Quantity – 4/5
Ambiance – 4/5
Service – 3.5/5

I WAS INVITED BY THE RESTAURANT TO REVIEW THEM.

Heard aot about this place at Kala Ghoda. so recently visited this place for dinner. Musy say it has amazing ambience ans he staff is very friendly. I tried from pizza to pasta to nachos. And every dish had its own global taste. They had a wide menu as the name suggests GLOBAL. Nuttela Milkshake is a must try.

I like the location of this place. I feel it is easily accessible to most of the people who like chilling in South Bombay. With soft warm lights, the ambience has a pretty good vibe. In the food, for the starters we had Butter garlic prawns, Mexican Chicken tacos. Cantonese stir fry for the main course and a melon bull drink to go with the food. The food was good and more than sufficient for 2 people, although it wasn’t that great to be honest. The place is worth visiting once. 3 stars for the overall value.

Good food, good ambience but slightly mixed feelings about the service!
Went there for dinner.. and was very impressed with the place & variety in food! However, we had to repeat our orders couple of times & the server wasn't able to comprehend our queries on the dishes, let alone answer those, slightly ruining our pepped up mood! After a couple of weird attempts.. we had to complain & ask for a change.. the next person was extra cautious with the service & made sure it was spot on!
Overall a good place, worth a try!

Walked in here for lunch and was initially given a table in the rather cramped downstairs section. Fortunately, the maitre d' felt I deserved better and asked me if I would like to move upstairs, where it was much better. Tried ordering pork chops first but they didn't have it (they later confided that they were having trouble sourcing good quality pork chops), so I had tiger prawns with aglio olio spaghetti instead. Quite good. The place is not too busy for lunch, but I'm told business picks up in the evening, after work, when the bar gets busy.

This place situated right next to the local, and the bartender mixes some of the nicest drinks in town, one, the food I tried from pasta to pizza to nachos everything was spot on, staff is very courteous at the desk aswell to guide you to the table, as well the food comes quick the drinks keep pouring fast. The only let down for cutting the star was the slow service from the waiter, and they kept forgetting the order for some reasons and the dj didn't start playing the music from 9 o clock even when the resto was packed to the brim!

I pass this place everyday when I am going for work and today I decided I will have dinner here. I was going with my family so this place seemed perfect. Ofcourse Khyber was also in the vicinity and also a bunch of nice cafes but for some reason I chose this place to try out.
The ambience is very pleasing & welcoming with great yellow lighting which I love. There are nice feature walls all around & the bar is also very attractive. It was quite vacant being a weekday and the vibe was quite serene.
Coming to food, the list of items which we ordered are as follows:

•Lemon Iced Tea: 4.5/5
It came just within a couple of minutes after ordering. I did like it a lot especially when I sipped it in between having food.

•Cheese Chicken Tikka: 3/5
This one was quite a disappointment because it was noticeably salty. No matter how delicious the food is, wrong quantity of salt always puts you off. And also, there were no traces of cheese anywhere. It was pretty much plain chicken tikka. But if the salt wasn't excess, then it would have tasted fine.

•Mozarella Sticks: 4/5
They were not listed in the menu, but I knew of it as someone had mentioned this one in their review saying it was nice. So we went for it. They looked very amazing when they bought it on table, and the taste justified their appearance truly. But it's pretty mild obviously, but it tastes great with the sauce that they give it with.

•Chicken Loaded Nachos: 4.5/5
I am a fan of loaded nachos and these were quite loaded literally. Minced chicken, olives, kidney beans, etc were in abundant quantity. The nachos were also nice and crisp without being soggy. I would definitely recommend this one.

•Chicken Tikka Pizza: 4.5/5
It was a thin crust pizza, size being adequate for three people. Thin crust pizzas hardly disappoint and this one didn't either.

•Service: 4/5
•Value for Money: 4/5

Overall it was quite a pleasant experience dining here. The restaurant truly stands by its name because it serves a variety of cuisines all over the globe and they are pretty upto the mark. Ofcourse, all eateries in fort are stellar in their own way and I would say this place is no less.
Located just opposite Mumbai university, Fort..it's very easy to find this place...
The interiors are quite well done..and spacious
As the name suggests, they have a 'global' menu..
We ordered
Harissa sweet potatoes
Murgh tikka pizza with olives(added topping of choice)
Nutella milkshake..
#highlyrecommended

Decent, lively place.. Honest prices, they even asked us if we wanted service charge added with bill or would we prefer to pay separately..
-Chicken nachos were Full of chicken, minced, npt shredded. Little cheese, which works well for us.
-Portofino Chicken Tenders were different & tasty.. Liked the olive in middle of each, and the Cranberry sauce.
-Butter Garlic Prawns were strictly ok. Since fried, it lacked the taste one gets at Mahesh lunch home etc.
Just located on the busy lanes of fort.. manager onkar naik helped in many way right from selecting a cocktail to food.. the nachos with cheese sauce was to delicious their home made nachos were fresh and crisp. All veg pizza was a thin crust pizza with few veggies and sun-dried tomato though i expected few more veggies, it wasn't disappointing. cocktail by omkar were mind blowing.

To celebrate my special day, we initially decided to go to Prego, but ditched that for some new flavours. Got into this place seeing zomato reviews and we weren't dissatisfied at all! Enjoi the Seekh and Cheese tikka with The Street to wash it down😊😊

So wanted to visit this place due to its proximity to my workplace. Once you enter the place just looks like a common restraunt, however, we were escorted to the first floor by their staff. I loved the ambience on the first floor. The place is dimly lit which is something I like, however on request they increase the lighting. Beautiful lanterns adorns their bar. The place has a rustic feeling.
We called for Wild Mushroom Rissoto and paneer makhani pizza.
The Mushroom Rissoto is something that one must try. Right amount of creaminess to it.
The pizza was yumm!
Caught a glimpse of Pani puris being served to the couple sitting on the next table and the presentation was stylish!
The place is slightly heavy on the pocket, though the food won't disappoint you.
The best part was when called for the bill, the staff was generous enough to inform that the service charges are now being made optional, so we may skip the service charges.
However impressed by the generosity and hospitality ended up paying the same.

Really cool place with incredibly friendly staff. The staff did all they could to accommodate us. We were also shown how they distill their own gins, in house. It was an amazing spot. A great place to escape the crowds.

The go-to place for people who can't decide what cuisine they're craving as Global Chaos treats you to food from all around the world! The Sea Prawns in coconut shell and Asparagus Phyllo Spears are to die for!!

Very good place for weekend brunch....Awsome ambience with good quality food... food presentation is really nice. Service department is good enough. Ambience is very cool n well maintained. Only problem is this place doesn't highlighted on roadside, so due to that this place get missed. Cost wise it's average just like normal pubs. I will prefer this place to all.

A decent place for dinner. Family/Corporate dinners are the best occasions to visit this place. The food tastes good.
One negative point-Zomato has got misleading pictures regarding the Drinks served at the place. Some of the drinks aren't served, and are just for the bar show.

Global Chaos:

My 200th review !!

Located in a little dicey location is a fine dining place which should definitely not be judged by the looks of it and the surrounding it is in. It's located at fort opposite to the university of Mumbai .

The place is divided in two sections the ground floor having little less tables, the first floor one has a bigger space, comfortable seats, a very well lit bar. The lighting which is dim suits very well with the interiors and makes it a very classy place . They had opened less than a year ago but they are still developing on the drinks side as they have just added on the menu previously they didn't serve alcohol.

They have recently started an all day cafe menu which serves dishes like sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta and milkshakes. This is available from morning till late in evening around 7pm. Apart from that they do a very extensive regular menu which is was very happy to see as in such a number of dishes like of European, Asian and regional dishes. Also a number of desserts. I was called to review their new all day cafe menu which I tried few dishes and desserts and mocktails from their regular menu.

We started with mocktails and I say this rarely they were quite different and for a change I liked the mocktails. It could be seen like they have done a lot of work in their drinks not what is observed in most of the other places. We first ordered the Thai grasshopper which was a mixture of mango and pineapple juice with lemongrass, lime leaves and basil, little sweeter side but a different combo to have and great in taste. Jin Cin Apple Jack which came with little Apple pieces on it. It was a mixture of ginger with cinnamon and topped up with lemongrass. It was one of the better mocktails we had that night. We also tried the Melon bull which was watermelon based mocktail, sweet and sour mix topped with red bull.

We started with mozzarella cheese sticks . 5-6 cheese sticks with dip making a perfect combo. We then moved on French toast which was the usual thick cut bread slice dipped in a batter of eggs, cream and cinnamon. The extra dip made it more sweet. We then ordered the panini which tasted decent with some fries. All veg pizza was a good one with soft base and full of veggies. The all veg setian sliders were a bit off taste, they had a little different taste although more in quantity.

Then came the time for desserts which were the highlight truly. Few of them were unavailable that time so we were left with 4-5 and we tried 3 out of them. Pajam Nooruku- a little different dessert which actually is served on a coconut. Three pieces which is a mixture of Jaggery, ripe bananas and coconut milk. Next was Hazelnut creme brûlée which is a combination of hazelnut and chocolate in a ramekin bowl topped with a layer of torched sugar. The result was just delicious. Next was the final one and ended the dinner on a really heavy note , it was the white chocolate and raspberry mousse, a very soft mousse made with the combination of raspberry and white chocolate , it just melts in the mouth. Surely the desserts made a lasting impression.

The staff were quite knowledge about their staff a little delay for few of our dishes considering there was not much crowd when we went there which can be improved. The pricing is a little high but it's worth visiting once atleast.

If given a chance and visiting fort again I would keep this place on the list for sure.
Ashwini Anil
A terrible place to go !
No proper service..the staff is quite unfriendly and doesn't even address you..
The Glass-shot Pani Puri, which features as a must try..is a disaster if u are not a fan of Japanese cuisine..
The cocktails were a complete waste of money since what's on the menu never matches with what you order !!
The only saving grace is the Chettinad potato dish !
We didn't brave enough to go ahead and try more of their dish..
Kitchens_around_me
Went to this place for a three course lunch through
wow tables and as usual, I expected my experience to be Wow... However, I was disappointed
.
.
1.Appetizer: Gehu tukda paneer tikka: paneer tikka cooked in a claypot oven, topped with bulghur wheat tossed in mint chutney with a dab of sweet chutney . Though the description is so amazing, the paneer tikka in itself was OK , but the bulghur wheat twist was quite interesting. For a dish that was recommended by our server, I'd say it wasn't that good
2. Main: spinach and cottage cheese gnocchi in cherry tomato ragout : this dish wasn't so bad. Though the spinach and tomato was extremely coarse and made the texture of the whole dish very dry
3: Dessert 1: Chocolate lava cake : this dish was worth ALL THE MONEY FOR THE ENTIRE MEAL. It was so so so good. A must try
4: Dessert 2: Pajam nooruku: mixture of ripe bananas, sultanas, coconut milk ; encased in a crispy pastry, served with creme anglaise . A very different dessert. Not something that everyone enjoys, but a nice change from the usual chocolate desserts .

Our team headed out to lunch one last time before 2017 is upon us, and we chose to go to Global Chaos in Fort. as the name suggests, one can expect to treat their taste buds to global cuisine. Value for Money: 3.5/5. We started with some manchow, miso and tomato soup to begin with. The manchow soup was exceptional, tomato was good and the miso was a surprise delight. If you want to play it safe, go for the first two and if you are feeling adventurous then the miso soup is for you.Asparagus Phyllo Spears & Mezze platter: while the asparagus phyllo spears were delicious, pastry well-cooked; the mezze platter was equally disappointing.Crispy burnt garlic & chili rice with Cantonese stir fry: if you love your Chinese/rice, this one is for you. The rice was delicious and the stir fry was a good accompaniment.Overall, if you are looking to head for a meal in the area, Global chaos would be a good idea, at least from the few things we ate here. Their portion sizes are really good for the price, so total value for money but the service needs to be improved severally. We spent almost an hour during a workday just waiting for our food to arrive.

I was in Mumbai for a couple of days and went for shopping at Fort, while walking around I came across this place which looked OK from the outside but from the inside it was something different altogether. I tried mostly the European section of their menu and every single dish was lip smacking delicious! Special mention goes out for the gnocchi and the white chocolate moose. Thank you for the wonderful lunch, i shall be back for the gnocchi when I am in Mumbai next time!

Went there last month and had a horrible experience. The portions of the dishes and terribly small for the price they charge. Between the 2 of us (1 girl so naturally a smaller appetite ) we had to order 2 starters and 2 main course dishes along with soup. . The quantity was so small that we were still hungry. Ended up eating egg bhurji at Churchgate station after the unsatisfactory experience at this very average restaurant. Go there if you are on a diet. .

While loafing around Fort we stumbled upon this restaurant.....It was a random Friday afternoon....we saw they had happy hours going on where you get 5 Kingfishers for 500 it was a deal too good to resist. So we decided to venture inside. Once inside we sat down at their lower level, Prawns in Champagne Mustard sauce, Foul Madams, pop corn chicken tikka and their chicken kheema sandwich, frankly we weren't expecting a lot but to our surprise we were bowled over by the flavor and presentation ! The Pop corn chicken tikka was served in a martini glass and the sandwich nicely presented on a black slate! In no time we must have downed 2 buckets of the KF Beer. On inquiring we got to know that they have just started serving liquor and has a great scope to get popular amongst the office going crowd with their offers ! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone ! Pricing is ok as per the quality of the food they serve ! To get good quality you have to pay a premium price!

After hearing a lot about this place we finally landed up going there. Its located at a very prime location in Fort. Divided in two levels, ground and first. Once you enter it looks like a very small place but as you proceed up the stairs it turns into a massive dining area with a beautiful bar. Main decor is of wood, lights and marbles. Which gives a very niche feeling. Perfect ambience for a great meal! The menu is vast and divided into 5 sections. Too many options to choose from and a lot of veg variety! We tried the Gehu Tukda Paneer Tikka, veg Seitan sliders, asparagus Phyllo spears and Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai for Appetizers. Most of these were very unique and the paani puri concept was also interesting. Moving on to the maincourse we ordered the Bahian stew with Pimento rice. Its a Brazilian coastal stew which resembles a Thai curry but quite different loved it. Then we wanted to try something spicy so we ordered the Adobo Paneer which and I must say the combination of Chipotle pepper and Paneer was outstanding! We also tried the Cantonese Stir fry with Butter Garlic chilli noodles both were tongue pleasers! To wash all this down we had ordered Gin Cin apple jack, Indian summer and the street all of them were crisp and well balanced.

The staff was courteous and gave us a decent service keeping in mind it was very busy so I would recommend making a reservation in advance. And to finish the evening we called for their white chocolate and raspberry mousse and chocolate Lava cake. Both were exploding with flavor! All the food was very well presented and the kitchen team makes a lot of effort to send out each masterpiece! Must thank them and will look forward to visit soon and I am Definitely recommending them to everyone I know! MUST VISIT! :))))))))
A must visit....

Visited this place when it had just opened. Amazing concept and great food. Very well presented, very well made and humongous variety of food. It's All under one roof. A perfect place for a cozy dinner.
The pannacotta here I can bet is the best in the whole of Mumbai. The best part is that the chef is not tried to make an Indiansed version of any of the international cuisine.
Excellent food. A must visit restaurant.Their Vietnamese roll n asparagus Phyllo spears are great Jain starters .Hindi chini bhai bhai, Tacos, Bahian stew are awesome. One should also try out Thai Peanut Chicken, Adobe Chicken. Never miss the deserts there. They have the most delicious deserts that I have ever had. Lava cake and Hazelnut Creme Brule are out of the world. All dishes are unique and well presented. Their staff are courteous and well versed with the menu and they suggest dishes according to our taste. Overall, had an excellent experience.

The chicken sliders were decent, the recommended asparagus phyllo spears, which wasn't really great. The chicken sliders were decent. Pork wasn't available. For the main course tied the wild mushroom risotto, which was less wild mushroom and more of button mushroom and chicken. The black pepper chicken was well made. Found the prices tad expensive for the kind of food they served. The beer was well priced though :D a kingfisher premium @ 120 is decent.

Very expensive.....Not at all value for money very ordinary food especially Opposite to what the menu has.they really need to work on their food menu

The place is situated in a tiny place...but has decent interiors and a nice bar..coming to the food..limited vegetarian options...but with a good taste..specially the dal bukhara and jeera rice..!!
Since we came here on saturday night and were stags the management wasnt ready to give us a table..somehow after managing to get a table..the music was super loud..the dj wasnt intelligent enough to switch the music to comfortable levels despite many other people asking to reduce it..improvement..!!
PS- please book a table before planning to come here.

I went to this place based on Zomato reviews and was very disappointed to find out from the waiter serving us that their all day cafe menu was not available today. What was more preposterous was the arguments used by him to justify the unavailability. Apparently it was a busy day (although there were no more than 10-15 customers ) and the chefs did not feel like preparing for the breakfast menu. So, we ended up ordering chicken cheese tikka and fried rice. The food was okay, not very wow.

I hope the management takes corrective steps for this blunder.

Worst evening we ever had!!!
We booked a table on Friday from Saturday night, the first surprise started from the main door when they said we do not have a reservation, after some discussion we got a shitty table just beside bar, where all eyes of ppl on bar table is on you. After lot of discussion and showing them number we called for reservation they gave me proper seat. Our mind of Christmas dinner was already ruined by them.
The so called manager there a lil old aged guy was so rude in giving table and they were behaving like all the mistake is ours they did not even had mannered to appolozise.
Then we asked for Christmas special cocktail which they have advertised on home page, the manager was like they dnt have anything only the things avilable are from menu....Guys then why u advertise wrong ....
Finally we started with dishes but non of the dish were so tasty or rich in flavour, they were just ordinary
We finally ordered dessert and my God what a horrible.taste does it carry, we just have to leave it as it is on plate. The food was not looking a freshly cooked, it seems like they just microwave it.
The ambience was ok, as the place is to small music was toooo loud, and it was not going with ambience.
The bills and price for dish are not so good, portion are to less and so costly, for an unfresh food.

The staff is unmannered, and they really don't know how to treat customers.

I would not recommend this restro bar even once for anybody. If you wanna ruin your good mood then this place is advisable.

I would like to rate it to zero star but unfortunately zomato does not allow.

The place is quite expensive, just worth one visit (or maybe not).. Chicken cheesy tikka was quite good, Hindi Chini bhai bhai (Pani Puri) was very disappointing (please dont order it).. they have good appetizers in non veg. The kingfisher premium pint is beautifully placed at 120. Pajam nooruku - the desert we ordered was unusual and got a very mixed response. The bills turn out to be heavily bloated with taxes and service charges so don't rely on the menus..
The restaurant ambience is really amazing. It's made in style.. the lighting is worth a mention..
A very small issue would be the PVC table mats - very unpleasant.

Had to give it a star, as Zomato sadly doesn't allow 1/4 star.

Went here with some friends, hoping to try something new.

We decided to go with the Captain's recommendations:

Grilled Asparagus: A decent dish, but cannot be repeated, coz the dish is pretty confusing. The Pomegranate dip, is just too out of place.

Hindi Cheeni Bhai Bhai: The so called Pani Puri with a twist, is way too twisted. Probably the worst Pani Puri I have ever tasted!

Veg Biryani: It was visible, that the Rice served, was atleast 24 hours old. It was probably cooked, frozen, and microwaved, to be served to patrons. The taste was decent, but the thought of eating stale food, clearly succeeded the taste.

Paneer Tikka: Probably the ONLY edible dish, and brilliant at that!

Clearly, the Captain doesn't know the food. And, the Manager wasn't being helpful by saying that the Biryani has been put up for reviewing. (As if they'll do a thorough research and get back to Us)

Pretty evident, that going here is a waste of time, appetite, and valuable money.

Located near the university next to a more visible restaurant, Kandeel, it's easy to miss so keep your eyes open.
The ambience is perfectly lit, with rustic decor. The bar is lit up by multiple light fixtures which adds much needed glamour.
The food: we chose to go with the middle Eastern kibbeh, harissa fish ,portofino chicken tenders, fresh lime and blueberry pannacotta.
The middle Eastern kibbeh were well flavoured, spiced and perfectly cooked. Some might find these a bit spicy. But personally I loved the it.
The harissa fish was very good too. Well marinated , perfectly cooked and served with a yogurt dip. There is a option for harissa potato as well, which probably will do more Justice to the harissa.
The portofino chicken tenders was a pleasant surprise. Served on a bed of crispy noodles , tangy sweet wine reduced sauce and a stuffed olive. All the flavors work incredibly well together, but cldnt help notice that a well marinated chicken would have done wonders! The chicken doesn't soak in the brilliant flavors, but nevertheless, a must try.
Finally the blueberry pannacotta. Absolutely bliss. Personally,I cannot flaw this at all. And trust me, I am trying. Hands down winner and just perfect. For some, just One might not be enough:).
Overall this is a must try place. Every dish is unique and adds unique preparation without trying too hard. Subtle balance of flavors, well cooked , and served with a smile. And all of this at a good price. Definitely deserves more than one visit.

We went to Global Chaos after my friends raved about the inventiveness of the menu... And would have to say, I am glad he recommended this one. The food at global chaos is exactly what the name suggests, a collection of global cuisines, most of which I have never come across at any other place before this. The 5 Spice pork ribs they served has to be one of the best I have tasted in my 29 years of life, and that's quite something, considering the amount of pork ribs I have had. It was soft, succulent and would just melt in the mouth, literally. I liked it so much that I just wanted to keep ordering pork ribs without eating anything else. We also ordered Middle Eastern Kibbeh for starters. It was very similar to a sheekh kebab but with some different flavours. Quite good. My veggie friend ordered a Cajun spiced cubes and she seemed to be happy with it. For drinks, we ordered five different cocktails, all were pretty good. For the mains, we ordered Thai Basil Chilli Fried Rice, a veg risotto and a South African Bunny Chow. The Bunny Chow just stole my heart. We topped all this food up with Hazelnut Creme Brûlée and a Blueberry Pannacotta. The creme brulee could have been better. The caramel wasn't really the way it was supposed to be but it tasted good so who cares. For all this food, we paid a bit over 6k, which was not that bad considering we were almost unable to move after the food. Much recommended. Would love to go back and hog on the pork ribs and bunny chow again. And again.

Ambience good...1st floor has more seating capacity...
Good food..tried their Bahia stew & Mexican adoba chicken...1 portion suffices 2 people... chocolate lava cake was good.
Noisy on a Saturday nite....
Service chaotic....our server at d table forgot to take d order of 1 of our main courses!!!!...on enquiry admitted his mistake...but took nearly 20mins to get it to d table...
This shows not a professional approach to their patrons... disappointed.

Loved the mixed sauce pasta and the mexican burger. Pizza was good too. Quite place, a must visit for all the foodies. I am a pizza and pasta lover. Will surely visit again. Thank you Global Chaos for the amazing food.

We went to Global Chaos to try their specially curated menu for the Hummus Festival, in association with Chef's Basket & Zomato!

Global Chaos can be slightly difficult to find! It is located bang opposite High Court near University of Mumbai near the crowded streets of fort. To begin with Global Chaos, does come off as a very very classy high end place with their dim lights, sleek wooden furnishings, and the classic texture of the interiors. They totally sum up the classic vintage high end fine dining.

FOOD:

1) Mexican Burger with Roasted Bell Pepper Hummus: Firstly. I loved loved loved the Roasted Bell Pepper hummus and the way it was incorporated into the burger with cheese and the mexican patty it was almost impossible to stop eating this burger..wonderfully curated!

2) Arabic Mezze Platter: Served with Pita Bread, Tabbouleh, falafels this was served with chickpea garlic hummus. This also happens to be a part of the restaurants main menu! While the warm Pita bread was amazingly soft & fluffy I was dissapointed with the falafels..I felt it could have had more flavour!

3) Loaded Nachos: Apt to it's name they were yummy and different! Loaded with chips, olives, beans, scallions, they had shredded cheddar cheese for the extra cheesy flavour! And they come with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa!

4) Thai Basil Chilli Fried Rice & Cantonese Stir Fry: A recommendation from our server! Although I feel the rice was on point a blend of fried rice with minty thai basil the cantonese stir fry could have been a little spicy to suit the Indian Palette. Except for the spice it was perfect with the colour and the slight touch of orient flavours.

5) Hazelnut Creme Brulee: For Desserts, we decided to try this! The Brulee had the perfect glaze of sugar on top and the chocolate underneath was yummy too however we could not taste hazelnut! It could have been a little more chocolatey and hazelnutty!

6) For drinks we tried their Peach & Raspberry Iced Teas! Coming from a non-mocktail person, I think they serve pretty good Iced Teas. Totally refreshing, fresh and amazing!!

Overall, I think Global Chaos is definitely a place that would appear in my mind if I wish to go for Fine dining or a Date night with simple lovely classic interiors and the vibe! Food wise I would love to go back to try some of their Main Menu items because their menu does seem promising!

Had some amazing food here, do try their veg sliders and pesto pizza. Also ordered the North Indian food as main course which again was very yummy !

Global chaos. The second half of the name perfectly describes the kind of food served here.

Starters :
So we ordered SPICY potatoes and even after completely coating them with chilli flakes they still remained essentially bland.

Some Paneer starter which was decent.

Main course :
Paneer Makhani and Dum Aloo.
Paneer was totally not fresh and had this horrible stale taste to it. The gravy tasted as if it contained overnight soaked crocin tablets.
Dum Aloo was edible. Though presentation wise both were pathetic.

Also, the waiter got our naans and kept it on a separate table so he could serve with the sabzis, which took a good 10mins and consequently our naans were soggy and cold. Then we had to get it made fresh again while our sabzis got cold.

The staff definitely needs to know their work.

Since the food disappointed us, we were hoping the dessert would do something to make us feel better. Wanted to order lemon cheesecake, but it wasn't available. So we just left completely disappointed with the entire experience.

Located in busy lanes of Fort, its bound to get missed if you don't keep an eye out for the small dark attractive door.
The cozy ambience here is very calming and peaceful with dim lights and neat interiors. The upstairs section is bigger and there's a comfortable seating arrangement along with a small back bar setup.
Visited this place during the Hummus Festival held here. They had many unique delicious made by using different types of hummus provided by Chef's Basket. We started our meal with Tropical Thunder Mocktail and Raspberry Iced Tea
Tropical Thunder was a refreshing fruity drink with a nice blend of orange, pineapple and grenadine topped with soda.
However iced tea was disappointing as it tasted very medicinal.
Then we ordered Morocco hummus pita pocket.
Soft pita bread stuffed with diced grilled chicken, Morocco hummus, julienned red, green and yellow bell peppers, cabbage, and carrots grilled to perfection and topped with some more hummus served with generous amount of crispy fries and hummus dip were the highlight of the day! They should really include it in their regular menu.
Arabic Mezze Platter:
It consisted of falafels, tabbouleh, garlic hummus and pita bread. It was the best hummus platter i have ever had! The fresh tabbouleh and Pita bread being the highlight of this dish i thoroughly relished it.
We ended our meal with White Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse.
The creamy mousse had a consistent light and airy texture. It isn't on the sweeter side at all. The best part was the sour and sweet raspberry coulis poured atop presented beautifully with a mini vanilla macaroon and chocolate decorations. I am more of a dark chocolate lover but this particular dessert was an exception.
But what i liked was the generous hospitality of the staff because for me what makes a successful restaurant is not only good food but also hospitality which leaves a customer with a happy tummy and happy face and makes them come again.
This place won my heart! Its truly a hidden gem of the Fine Dine world.

Food: (4/5)
Ambience: (4.5/5)
Staff & Service: (5/5)
Cost: (3/5)

Global Chaos is another restaurant that I visited for the Hummus Festival by Chef's Basket. Located amidst several amazing restaurants in one of the best areas of Mumbai, this place shouldn't be missed.

I dropped by this place for an early weekend lunch with a friend. We began with a round of appetizers, Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai and Watermelon Fetta Salad. Hindi-Chini Bhai-Bhai, was similar to Pani Puri Shots but the Puris were stuffed with Wasabi flavored Paneer and the shots contained a sweet and sour Chili Sauce. Amazing burst of flavor, definitely worth a try. The Watermelon Fetta Salad too was quite nice and very refreshing. A perfect start to our meal.

For starters we ordered the Kokami Jhinga in a Coconut Shell, full marks for presentation thought the taste could have been better. We also ordered Cajun Spiced Fish Cubes and Frito Misto, the Cajun Sauce did pack a punch. Frito Misto was a dish of batter coated and deep fried Prawns and Calamari served with Mayonnaise.

Confused by the large number of choices, we finally went for the Japanese Ramen Noodles and a Mexican Abodo Chicken. The Japanese Ramen was one of the best noodle dishes I have ever had, it is served in a huge dish and topped off with a fried egg. The Mexican Chicken was decent but the Baked Potato served with it was exceptionally good.

A round of Hazelnut Creme Brulee and White Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse was the perfect ending to our meal. Both of them were very good and the portions were larger than I expected, but too much sweet never hurt anybody ;)

The Drinks we tried out were Tropical Thunder, Melon Bull, Diva and the best of all, The Grasshopper. Do try it out.

The ambiance here is modern, fresh and breathtaking even service here was friendly, even the manager was very polite and took our feedback after the meal. Global Chaos does live up to its name, its a pleasant chaos of dishes from all over the world. Even for a guy with a large appetite it would take me several visits to try out all of them. Strongly Recommended place.

Cute n cozy place with a decent ambience on M.G road. But a weird dish which I tried due to its unique name was The South African Bunny Chow, was the twist in an otherwise quiet evening. According to the description it was- A traditional Indian gravy Incorporated by the Indian immigrants in South Africa between soft bread loaf. Okay, expectations increased. The South African Bunny Chow a.k.a Indian Bread and Chole gravy replaced with Mushrooms instead of Chole was no way a Chow , had a Bunny or was remotely South African. Otherwise a nice calm place to hang out with a medium paced service.

The food was good, size-able portions and value for money. The staff is decent, well mannered and recommend appropriate dishes if asked for an opinion. The ambiance of this place is classy with a lot of wooden and comfortable furniture. The bar occupies a conspicuous place and is done quite neatly with a good choice of liquor.

Must have their Tasting Menu though the cost can be a little more appealing to the regular office goers. You surely gonna like the chaotic global menu and use of spices
Richa AKA Richie Rich
We almost missed the entrance to Global Chaos Kitchen & Bar when we reached here for reviewing their All Day Cafe menu. It is bang opposite Mumbai University and you have to keep an eye out for the small door. Inside, the ground floor is equally small but once you go up the stairs, you see a spacious restaurant open up, a rarity in Mumbai. Simple clean decor welcomed us in. We did wonder about the name for a bit but then browsing through their extensive menu with choices from all over the globe explained the reason easily :)

The All Day Cafe menu takes the same spirit forward and provides a number of choices in terms of waffles, pancakes, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta and beverages! Ask the staff to suggest dishes as per your preference, they would gladly and politely assist or if you already know what you are gonna like then go ahead and order as we did. Prices are a bit on the higher side but quality & quantity are good and don't forget the prima donna location it is situated in.

We started off with fruit juices and fresh lime soda for beverages as wanted to keep space for food and not fill it up with shakes and such, even though they all look tantalizing (Nutella Shake, I have my eyes on you :D)

First up was Classic Three Cheese Sandwich with a concentrated dose of Cheddar, Parmesan & Mozzarella cheeses for every cheese lover out there (and seriously, who isn't one :D) I was a bit worried that it might be a bit salty as I have seen, sometimes, some dishes with too much cheese blend turn out saltier. Hallelujah, this wasn't! What a relief :) Oh and the cheese blend had a smokey fried crunch, isn't that just swell!

My favorite was up next, Moroccan Pesto Paneer Panini, pretty self-explanatory there :D Scrambled Paneer with Moroccan Pesto in soft Panini bread, Pesto was a bit tangy which I guess is the Moroccan part coming to fore, yet every bit as refreshing as I love my Pesto to be. Absolute smashing. Both the sandwich and Panini were served with fries that were pretty standard. Dip in ketchup and binge on.

Veg Fusilli in Creamy Mushroom Sauce Pasta was our final indulgence, very creamy, very mushroomy, very filling and very yummy. Would love a bit more exotic veggies but no complaints on its own, a dish worth having any time of the day. All the dishes are quite filling for one hungry person and a Panini & a Pasta would fill up even a hulk level hungry hippo like me (for both lunch and dinner) :D

Protesting tummy or not, Richa will not leave a meal without having a dessert, so goes the saying :P So had to try out the White Chocolate & Raspberry Mousse in the end, very soft and creamy, with the raspberry part not being overwhelmingly tangy, and edible flowers on the plate made the presentation pop too.

So the million dollar question remains. Will I walk in here when I am in the area?

And the absolute chaos-free answer to that is, why indeed Sir, I will :)

Global Chaos is located in Fort opposite Standard Chartered bank. The place serves multiple cuisines from around the world right from North Indian, European, Mediterranean, Asian, Continental to American. The restaurant has done an awesome job in preparing such a vast menu.

We visited Global Chaos recently during the Chef's Basket Hummus Festival organized in association with Zomato. There was a special menu with a wide variety of hummus dishes prepared with Chef's Basket dips.

We called for the following from the Chef's Basket menu:

1. Arabian Mezze Platter: this dish contains Falafels, pita bread, garlic flavored hummus and Tabbouleh. The garlic flavored hummus topped with an olive was the highlight of this dish, delicious to say the least.

From the Global Chaos menu, we ordered for:

2. Loaded Nachos: A gigantic serving of nachos mixed with beans, scallions, olives with sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. I'm a hard core lover of nachos and this dish had me licking my fingers.

3. Burnt Chilli Garlic Noodles: this dish is from the Asian main course. Extremely buttery noodles with a hint of garlic.

4. Sichuan Chilli Gravy: the word 'chili' in the name is meant to be taken seriously. Pungent and hot gravy made using Sichuan pepper corns. This dish was a delight to the taste buds. It was a perfect combination along with the garlic noodles and was extremely flavorful. Highly recommended for spice lovers.

When you have such awesome food, you need to top it up with an equally awesome mocktail:

5. Tropical Thunder: a sweet and sour juice of pineapple and orange with a touch of grenadine topped up with soda. One of the most refreshing drinks I've had.

Finally, to end our EPIC meal, for desserts we called for:

6. Chocolate Mousse: a small piece of choco lava cake with a dark rich chocolate ice cream served with some chocolate powder as decor. The dessert was decent, I'd have preferred the cake to be way more chocolatey though.

Global Chaos has a rich and sober ambience with some great lighting. The attraction of this place is the extremely fancy bar which serves some unique cocktails.

The food on an average takes approximately 10-15 minutes to be served but it's definitely worth the wait. Friendly and nice staff who took great care of us and ensured that we had a good lunch experience.

Overall, Global Chaos is a bit premiumly priced but after looking at the amazing quantity and delectable taste, the experience is worth every penny.

The restaurant is a great visit with family and friends and you'll definitely come out with a overly satisfied stomach.

For more pictures of food, follow @sirajcotecha on Instagram.
Pathetic.
Went there for a family dinner on Saturday. The name remained true to itself. Chaotic. We ordered food which took 30 minutes to come. That would be fine, if it was actually hot. We ordered the fish and the butter garlic prawns. We received ice cold fish, which probably still belonged in the sea and deep fried prawns dripping in oil which were cold as well.

We called for the hot and sour seafood Soup but were served a bowl of peper instead. The soup was cold as well.

We asked the management to replace the fish, assuming it was probably a bad day or something, they were happy to replace it bur just brought back the same fish, still cold, and piece less.

We asked for the bill immediately. Given such a big establishment with a 4.0 rating one would hope the most basic element of a food establishment, their food, should be hot and tasteful.

I'm hoping this was a bad day for them since there's soo many people raving about it. But this was downright pathetic.
