I will recommend this place for people who are into seafood do try crabs My parents are very fond of seafood. I ordered Crab Masala for them, the Crab was fresh, cook to the perfection, The best part was that the dish wasn't much spicy and had a balanced flavor. The curry has nice blend of coconut. It is a thick curry.As the name says the Malvani Style; Bombil fry is a must to have here.Bangda Tikhle was wonderful, it was delicious, My Father enjoyed his meal.
I loved the food here before the Lockdown. The fish was fresh and the wade were nicely made.
My father took us for a family dinner date and it was worth it.

The Prawns Thali has Prawns Masala which was yummy and had a good amount of Prawns😋.
The Surmai Fry Thali consisted of 2 medium size surmai pieces with Rice bhakri ,solkadi ,and rassa😍😋.
Bombil Fry just 😍😋😋.The quantity was good.
The man at the counter was polite and knowledgeable about the dishes in the menu.

They serve variety of fish fry.... The quality of fish is really good.... The Ambiance is decent and peaceful..... There is rush but it's now crowded...... I tried prawns fry 4/5 the prawns was really fresh.... I also tried chicken fry 4/5 it was tender and juicy... The spices used were spicy..... Would definitely like to visit this place again to try there thalis
Maharashtrain food . Fresh meat and fishes placed. The bhakri was also very soft and yummy. Solkadi is also aussum.
I have been here more then once for having special and traditional n typical malvani food the fried fish and chicken and fish thali and speciality is for chicken wada
I went there with my family. I would recommend going there sometime before the open. The waiting increases afterwards till 1hour. I ordered for Mutton Thali, Pomfret Thali, Chicken Thali (All Thali accompanied with Rice and Chapati), Bombil Fry and Prawn Fry. To begin with Mutton and Chicken were very well cooked and the masala was marinated well enough with the pieces. Pomfret Fry was something you would order more and more. It was fresh, crunchy and juicy. Also Solkadi is my personal favorite.
Malvan Katta is a very nice place if u want to have authentic malvani food and if u are a fish and non veg lover. Surmai Fry is very good and a must try. Chicken kheema is not that great. The rice bhakri is so good nice and soft. Another thing we tried here was the prawns rice which was very good. Had all the flavours coming in. And last but not the least one must try the Solkadi which so refreshing. They offer thalis or single dish whatever u like. The staff and the owners are very kind and polite. The ambience is not that great but decent. Overall it is value of money. 4 people can easily ear belly full in under ₹1500.
If you are looking for some non veg malvani food or seafood and somewhere around dadar, you should definable go to this place! It’s a home like place where they serve malvani thali! You should definitely try their stuffed pomplet! It’s the best best fried fish, that they serve with chutney filled inside it! Something worth trying! The ambience is again very normal, homelike, but food is worth trying! :)

There are very few restaurants which serve authentic Malvani food and Malvan Katta is one of them. This is definitely a hidden gem in the busy area of Dadar. There is not much hype created about this place but the food which they serve is mind blowing.😍
🌍Location: It is located near Swami Samarth Math, one of the prominent places in Dadar which is usually crowded.
♈Ambience: There is not much happening with regards to Ambience you can see pictures of Malwan and few lamps on the wall. The entire place is very immaculate. There are two different sections the AC and the Non AC. The place heavily crowded on Sundays, Wednesday and Friday and you have to wait for around 15-20 mins untill your turn.
❇️Food: They have a host of options in fish as well as in thaali.

The thali comprised of Chicken gravy along with Rassa(Tambada),Solkadi and Vade. You can choose the bread as per your liking. The chicken was cooked in typical Malwani style which was scrumptious. The vade served along were crispy and perfectly went well with the chicken.
✳️Mutton Thaali🥩🥓
Equally delicious was the mutton thaali. The other items were similar to chicken thaali. I would like to specifically mention that the mutton gravy was delicious and the mutton was very well cooked. The Solkadi served along was very thick and tasty.
🔶Although the service is a bit slow and you have to wait a little but as it is said "All good things comes to those who wait" in this case it will be "All delicious things comes to those who wait".😋

If you need to have a candle lit dinner with your loved one, nice place to be with some good food and exquisite drinks.
However of you go with friends this would feel a bit awkward.
There are some nice liquor, expensive than what the ambience deserves. The food is fresh and well prepared. The pomfret chilly garlic is awesome. Also the several chicken dishes we tried.
Worth visit if your budget permits.

Tamnak remains very Thai. We ordered food with names we could neither pronounce nor understand, but it still worked out wonderfully well.
The sliced lamb was juicy and delicious. Crab cakes were scrumptuous. Thick red prawn curry was just the right degree of spicy and went very well with sticky Jasmine rice. Seafood peanut infused noodles were also seafoody and peanuty.
The service was excellent. We were never in hot water but were served plenty of it.
Would go again for sure.

Serves Thai cuisine. The ambience is good. The dishes on the menu have Thai names with the necessary explanation in English.
We tried the green mushroom curry and Thai basil rice. The staff was courteous enough to alter the menu for us.
Good place for couples and groups..pretty quiet. Could b a little expensive on the pocket.
Dishes available in yellow green and red curries...red being the most spicy. They also offer drinks including cocktails. The basil mint martini was very refreshing.
If u like to indulge in Thai food u can give it a try..fairly decent place.
Visited here for first time ... But I preferred only veg this time .. the ambience is perfect for Thai food. Quick service, perfect seatings, and the menu is good. Tried salad and noodles this time. Drinks may be a good option next time.

Best food.authentic malwani food. Purely homemade taste. Interior is completely basic but feels like you are sitting in village room. Service is great. Less number of sittings plan accordingly to avoid waiting.

Small place with seating for 20 people. They have extension in adjoining room which is opened if needed. This place offers awesome food for those who like Malwani food both vegetarian and non vegetarian. We had crab curry, Pomfret curry and Kalwa (clam) masala with Amboli & rice. They were all tasty and so also gavathi chicken. Veg thali is a good option for vegetarian. It has non descript ambience, really quick service and is reasonably priced.
Always a pleasure to have Thai food here. Subtle flavours.... Aroma that take u to. Thailand without any flight... Brilliant staff.
