The ambiance and the decor is super inviting.
We loved the starters. Namely, Murgh Angaarey, Chicken Tikka chilli flakes, The Tandoor Jhinga and the Soya Kebabs.
Main course comprised of the yummy Nalli Nihari and Vegetable Korma with Dal Makhani.
Dessert rocked with Phirni, Gulab Jamun Kulfi and Rabri combo plus the Gulkandh ice cream.

Amazing service with delicious food, they also have a good Playlist so the music will make you relax. The place is a little expensive but the location, ambience and services make it worth your money and time. The place is at 2minutes walking distance from The sliver beach which makes it convenient for you to enjoy a beach breeze while you go for a walk after your meal.
Was there sometime back for the Kashmiri Food Festival. We tried the special kashmiri menu that was on offer and I must say it was awesome. Being a first timer trying Kashmiri cuisine I was quite impressed. The mutton was cooked to perfection and the other curries and gravies were great.
Looking forward to their future food festival menus.

Phagun brings a luxury experience of fine dine with a luxury experience.
Z lounge have open up a all new family restaurant which has a royal feel to it earlier it used be jal now it has a new feel and they have change the name to phagun with some new edition to food menu and new chef's.
*Recommendation:- rose petal thandai,watermelon twist,sufiyaani paneer,multani mushroom and kalakhatta slush
▪Things we tired out:-
1. Rose petal thandai:- who doesn't love a chilled thandai with masala,prefectly sweet and spicy.
2. Kurmuri methi palak tikki:- soft and crunchy tikki made out of methi yet not at all bitter in taste served with orange hummus which was super tasty.
3. Watermelon twist:- frizzy soda mixed with watermelon and contain pieces of watermelon was a really refreshing drink and mind calmer in this summer(must try).
4.Sufiyaani paneer:-smoking paneer so juicy and tender manirated with flavours of spice. It has a after taste of smokiness.
5. Soya mutter ki galouti:-small tikkies made it soya and mutter which are easily visible on the tikki and has a base of small naan which has a flavour garlic in it.
6. Veg biryani:- generally biryani is meant to be all strong flavour of spice and veggie but biryani at phagun was more on creamy side. Rice were prefectly cooked and it had veggies in the center with a creamy gravy which was well marinated.
7. Kurmuri bhindi:- straight long slim slices bhindi fries and mixed spicy masala which has a really good taste but the bhindi soak alot of oil due to which flavours of the bhindi were lost in it and all i can feel was oil.
*Suggestion:- try to bake the bhindi or shallow fry it.
8. Phirni:- cold phirni served with methi ke kulhad as is need to be a raw and pure form as phirni should low on sugar level giving a amazing taste and had that "khurdura" (find it english word) texture to it which normally a phirni has.
9. Kalakhatta slush:- a drink like this would take people back to their childhood if they have ever tried out a gola on chowpatty. The taste of kalakhatta couldnt be any better (Highly recommended)
If you want to have a fine dine with a luxurious feel the phagun is the place you need to try out.

Overall a very nice and calm fine dining environment. The restaurant is inside a hotel and i was quite hungry when I went inside the restaurant. I was dining alone. The taste of the food is quite good and all the spices in the food is quite balanced. The staff of the restaurant were extremely courteous and professional. The only thing that bothered me that the service was quite slow. I do understand that it ia a fine dining restaurant and service takes relatively more time but I was the only one person sitting in the restaurant.
Tried some non-veg starters and main-course. Both were delicious. Service was quite good and quick. Would love to visit again with family and friends.
This week I visited @phagun_mumbai for the Kashmiri Trami food festival called Riwaayat running till October 12th priced at Rs 1999 all inclusive. It features veg and non veg appetizers and main course with assorted Indian breads, rice and dal. Followed by a really nice Kesar firni and kahwa. Dal-E-Phagun is a must try and I quite liked the Nadru Yakhani (lotus stem cooked with yakhani gravy). Go give it a try!!! .
Its located in juhu at Z residency (service Apartments).. I like the way the place is spread..interiors are quite homely. We got a sitting outside & must say it was so cozy with minimal lights..perfect.
North indian food bang on for the taste buds. They lost 0.5 only for being unreasonably pricey

The 4 star standard lives up to the 4 star expectations. One of the most amazing fine dine experience I've had. Keep your expectations high and your love for quality food higher. My promise is that you will not be dissapointed no matter what you order. Plating and creativity on most dishes is one of the best. The ambiance is warm,welcoming and hearty. Service is quite honest and good. We had ordered:
Starters:
1) Peshawari Paneer Tikka
Soft, tender paneer marinated in delicate indian spices and cooked to perfection over the tandoor. Excellent choice for vegetarians.
2)Murgh ke sholay
A MUST, MUST TRY!! I cannot lay enough emphasis on how tender the chicken was!! Mouth watering flavours come together to form this red chicken boneless!! Amazing!
Main course:
1) Dal-E-Phagun
Black dal. Creamy and tasty. Little bit of smokiness. Delish.
2) Roti/ Amritsari Paneer Biryani
Dum biryani. Fully authentic and served with raita. Could not get enough of this!!
