I had ordered Classic Veg Briyani (light eater). The quantity of rice was good. Also the quality of food was great. The classic veg briyani contained gravy of various veggies spread over briyani rice. The nawabi style masala in briyani was just awesome. The packaging was done nit and clean. No spillovers during delivery. Also the delivery was on time. Must try👍.

We recently had an amazing weekend lunch all thanks to Charcoal Eats! A quaint QSR with one of the best Indian cuisine options in the city, this place does not disappoint you with its offerings. We decided to dine at the comfort of our homes and so had the food delivered to our doorsteps on a lazy Saturday afternoon. The food was still hot and fresh, popular to contrary belief when speaking about Indian food.

The dishes we tried are as follows:

Veg Galouti Pav Vow:

Little desi burgers with soft and drool-worthy buns and even yummier patties. Each comes with two circular kebabs. This tastes so yum that we wish that it came with one more! The sauces smeared across each patty are truly delicious.

Paneer Tikka Masala Roll:

Just how you would expect your Paneer roll to be - full of zing and masala! The roll had the right amount of flavours, it also surprises you with potato fries, again, flavoured very well. The garnished onions are like cherry on top!

Barbeque Loaded Fries:

Crispy, tangy and extremely delicious. These fries are a must for all fries lovers. Smokey barbeque flavours with the golden crispiness of potatoes make it a great pick.
You don't want to share this one.

Butter Chicken Biryani:

Beautifully cooked rice with masala and butter chicken. Nice tender pieces of chicken with good amounts of masala. The high point - they did not shy away on adding a good amount of chicken pieces. A must-have for all chicken biryani lovers.
Boneless too!

Dal Makhani Rice Bowl:

We had high expectations with this one but it wasn't as great as the other dishes that we tried.

Gulab Jamun:

An instant melt-in-the-mouth deliciousness!
The perfect end to a delicious meal.

Charcoal eats being by favorite place to order online, I got a chance to visit the place and try my favorites steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken galouti pav, chicken seekh kabab, bbq fries, classic hyderabadi biryani, chicken Tikka roll and the salted caramel mousse. Must say the food there is amazing. My favorite was the chicken Tikka roll, the seekh and of course the biryani. Go try it out ASAP

Charcoal Eats: Charcoal eats is one of the famous place for its Square Pizza and lot of other cuisines. So when I visited this place I was quite impress with the fact of sorted menu and hygiene that this place had maintained. They have 17 outlets in Mumbai and they basically serve Punjabi, Arabic, Mughalai and Italian cuisine with a twist. Key Points: MENU: As mentioned above quite sorted STAFF: Active and Humble to serve you the best food. Gives good suggestion of food as per ones preference. CROWD: This place attracts the crowd of all ages as the menu covers a sorted yet delicious range of food. PRICE: The prices of dished are ok ok in compare to quantity! FOOD PACKAGING AND SERVING: The food packaging is really beautiful and professionally done. COST FOR TWO PEOPLE: 380-400 Minimum! What we tried: 1) Chicken Malai Tikka: Tender and Juicy chicken marinated in white sauce and nicely charcoal roasted. Cost: 119/- for half (8 Pieces) and 299/- for full (12 Pieces) 2) Tandoori Mayo Fries: (MUST TRY) Cost: 99/- Crispy and Crunchy fries topped with Mayo and Tandoori Sauce- Tangi, Spicy and too yummy for Potato fries to taste like this. 3) Mutton Seekh Adana: (MUST TRY) Cost: 179/- Mutton seekh nicely roasted on charcoal severed in lachha paratha. Its basically a wrap that's got juicy and tender mutton seekh some onion rings and spicy sauces. 4) Bombay Masala Pizza: 7' inch (Must Try- Worth The Price) Cost: 149/- The Pizza here is served is an unique, for it is served in Square shape. The base of the Pizza is Crust and topping is simple yet delicious. Minced Chicken with Pizza sauce and lots of Cheese. Its reasonable for its taste and concept. 5) Chicken Tikka Biyani in Afghani Style: ( MUST TRY) Cost: 179/- for 1 Portion 289/- for 2 Portion. We highly recommend you to have this delicious Flavorful, Rich yet balanced on Spiced Biryani. This biryani did wonders on our taste Palate. One person serving with a curd pack. The Barista on topped gave a perfect caramel flavor to it.. One must try this dish. You can also take in Kilo's. 6) Strawberry Souffle: (MUST TRY) Cost: 119/- Dessert Alert! one must try this Soft, Fluffy, Smooth, Fruity and creamy souffle. We were so engrossed in tasting it that we forgot to take its photo. Well that's how great and yummy this dessert is! I highly recommend to visit this place for its awesome food menu and its taste. I must also tell you that the food packaging here is highly appreciated. Looking forward to visit again.!

Food - 8/10 Ambiance - 8/10 Service - 9/10 VFM - 10/10 What stands out - Onion Rings My friend and I went to this restaurant on a weeknight. This is a primarily delivery chain though we decided to visit it. They have pretty decent seating for a delivery only outlet. They have 4 tables which are fairly comfortable. It is a self service place but the servers would gladly bring food to the table but you will have to go and place the order at the counter outside. The cuisine is finger foods and biriyani. The onion rings here are amazing. Very crisp and outstanding flavour. We called for the following 1) Shezwan Loaded fries - 9/10 2) Onion Rings - 10/10 3) Paneer Tikka Roll - 9/10 4) Half veg Biriyani - 10/10 5) Veg Square Pizza - 7/10 6) Strawberry and salted caramel Ice Creams - 9/10 All in all this is an amazing place for fast food especially to call home. Definitely try out.

Charcoal Biryani has changed its name to Charcoal Eats and added several items in their menu. They provide quick home deliveries as well as have a small dine-in section. I visited their Kemps Corner outlet and ordered the following- Classic Chicken Biryani (Half) and Afghani Chicken Tikka Biryani (Half): Both the biryanis were aromatic and extremely delicious. Served with curd and raita masala mix, Classic one had spicy chicken masala and Afghani had creamy chicken. Would've been perfect if pieces were boneless. I'd recommend Classic Chicken Biryani. Classic Chicken Tikka Roll: Thick crispy parantha filled with juicy masala chicken, spicy harissa sauce, garlic mayo, onion and capsicum. Tasted great. Chicken Baida Roti: Better than rolls, go for this one! Spicy minced chicken wrapped in egg roti and cooked till crisp. The tender chicken inside went well with crispy roti cut in triangular pieces. Tandoori Loaded Fries: Crispy french fries topped with spicy Tandoori sauce and garlic mayo. The fries were really long and made with perfection. Avocado Milkshake: Thick and not very sweet. A bit bland for my taste. Grape Juice: A refreshing drink made from real black grapes. Loved this one. Strawberry Souffle (Eggless): A souffle loses its essence if made without eggs. This one, surprisingly, came out better than expected. Creamy and low in sweetness. A bit grainy though. Ambiance is nothing fancy, it's an underground level windowless room. Better if you opt for home delivery. Service was slow.

It is located at warden Road in Grant Road exactly opposite to St. Stephen Church. It is a small and cozy place with basic decor. Staff is helpful and service is quick here. The food I tried :- >> Chicken Malai tikka - pieces of boneless chicken, well marinated and juicy served with cut pieces of onions and cheese dip. >> Chicken Malai tikka roll - it was so scrumptious and the quantity was good. Must try this. >> Barbeque Loaded fries - it was Tangy and crispy. >> Makhani chicken biryaani - this one was so tasteful and it was served with butter chicken gravy inside with Raita. Do try this one. >> Peri Peri chicken Pizza Squares- this one was a bit unique and delightful. The base was pizza puffs loaded with chicken and cheese and cherry shaped tomatoes. Loved it. ❤️ >> Strawberry soufflé - It was worth trying. Freshly cut strawberry pieces and strawberry being my one of the favorite has got me to this delicious dessert. Had a good experience with this place. It is more like a delivery outlet but they do have seating. Keep up the good work team. ✌️

Charcoal Eats has introduced some new dishes and have done a good job at it. We tried their Loaded Fries - The Chilly Garlic Fried and Tandoori loaded Fries. Crispy and loved the sauces. We also tried their Achari Aloo Appetizers and also their Achari Aloo Roll. The Achari Aloo in the Appetizers was absolutely wonderful. This is something one must have here. The Achari Aloo Roll though was a little disappointment. Though with the same filling as the starter, the roll was a tad bit dry. A little more of the sauces as with the starter and we are sure this would have been quite good too. The one thing we always love at Charcoal Eats are their puff based pizza squares. We had Peri Peri Vegetable Pizza, The Exotica and the panerr Tikka. All three were spot on. The base just make there amongst the better pizzas you can have in Mumbai. We also had their Veg Tikka Biryani which was good but nothing that blew us away. The place though lacks an options in drinks. Still the food is worth visiting this place for.
