I'm always very critical when it comes to South Indian restaurant in the island city but I've started discovering some really good ones here, coconut leaf being one of them. I ordered the Mysore masala dosa and buttermilk. Dosa is really huge here so check before you order! Served with 2 chutneys one was tomato and ginger and the other was the usual coconut chutney both of which were good. Sambar is worth mentioning because it was really flavourful and spicy, it was more like rasam but I liked it.
Buttermilk was very salty and I had it replaced but even then it seemed too salty for my tastebuds, next time I'll probably order unsalted one.

One of many South Indian outlet in R city mall food court. Nothing spectacular about this place. We had ordered one plate idli+vada dipped in sambhar and rava masala dosa. Idli and vada was okay types. Idli was slightly hard than usual and vada too oily and it took them lot of time for them to serve this dish infact this was served after dosa, could not understand the reason of delay. Masala dosa was awesome and aptly cooked. Sambhar was also tasty and had that authentic south Indian touch. Coconut chutney could have been better. Overall okay types experience. South Indian food lovers can try this place once.

This is a great place to have authentic south Indian food. Loved the Malabar paratha, Gobi65 & Paneer chettinad...!! Compared to other food outlets in malls, this place good value for money 👍

Value for money , given the kind of pricings malls have. The silken  malabari paneer curry and the hot Paneer chettinad  gravy are delicious. The doas are huge and the Appams need some fine tuning, they are more dense than being fluffy. The chutneys are again commonplace.

Had a strong craving to start my day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Noticed that Coconut Leaf was providing Filter Coffee for 40 bucks and that too in a mall: it definitely caught my eye. The filter coffee was pretty good!

Good dosas nice south indian flavour I personally domt like the red chutney much but the white one was yum my mum always has a dosa there whenever we visit

Had masala idli and medu wala at this place and it was amazing. Complete authentic south indian food. Perfect place for all south indian food lovers. And last but not the least - value for money.

Coconut Leaf can give u good south indian food with interesting combos..check out this place if you're craving a south meal..quantity is pretty good. Go traditional ! :)

This place offers variety of South Indian dishes..I and my friend ordered chilli paneer dosa which was served hot and within 10-12 mins with two chutneys and sambar..it was tasty and spicy.. The paneer was soft..the dosa in itself was filling! Thumbs up to the Coconut Leaf :)

Totally in love with the place . Amazing packaging Totally in love with the food & services. Really loved it What I ordered- Panner schezwan chesse dosa wrap - Very delicious & taste was very tempting. It has generous amount of filling & was very good even when it was delivered Masala pav - It had a very unique taste. Really very nicely packaged & was tempting Idli Manchurian - It was very flavourful & had amazing taste . Payasam - Very delicious & amazing dessert . Best way to end the meal Very happy with the service The food was hot when delivered with amazing packaging.

Good Place to enjoy South Indian & Mangalorian food.. I have ordered Veg korma with neer dosa.. being korma it was loaded with paneer along with other veggies.. papad & salad made it complete meal experience..
