This is a wonderful vintage Irani place, right outside Byculla station, on the east side. Service was quick and the waiters helped us choose the dishes.
Tried kheema pav, burji, mawa cake and tea. Burji and kheema were prepared in typical Irani style. Flavours were balanced, not too spicy or oily. Mawa cake was not too sweet.
Prices seemed to be on the lower side. The restaurant is hygenic, tables were cleaned just as one finished.
They have a counter selling bakery products and few other items. Please note that this place accepts only cash payment, no UPI.
When you go to Byculla do visit this iconic bakery. Famous for Iranian/Parsi breakfast.
In old times, when you visited this place they used to serve you with a pallet full of cakes. We were to eat what we wanted and then accordingly they would charge us.
Now, you have to order what ever you like. The cake is my and all my friends favourite! It’s lovely to have!
And please do not miss on the kheema pav, it’s amazing 🤩
