Review Raja Refreshment - Mumbai

I have been eating Idli Wada from this place since I was a kid. People who have known this restaurant since ages mostly visit here. Their customers are majorly from the nearby locality. Post COVID, they have made many changes and additions in their Menu. To make it more appealing, the restaurant has started Souh Indian dishes offer ranging between Rs. 59 and Rs. 75. It's available all day. No time restrictions. You can also try a Chinese thali worth Rs. 250. It contains 3 items viz. Paneer Chilly/Paneer Crispy/ Schezwan Paneer, Noodles or Fried Rice and Manchurian Gravy. I was about to faint from hunger so we decided to visit a nearby restaurant. We ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa Ulandu Dosa, Chinese thali - Paneer Chilly, Fried Rice and Manchurian Gravy an (photos attached). Value for money - 5/5 Food - 4/5 (Didn't like Ulandu Dosa) Ambience - 3/5 (Not spacious enough)

Recently visited this restaurant with friends as heard that it is one of the oldest restaurants and is the best for vegetarians. Well, yes it is! The ambience was cozy and was best to have a chit chat meal with a friend. The lights and the seatings were perfect mood setter! We ordered Veg Manchow Soup:- One of the thickest soup I have ever had. It had a bit of sour and sweetness in it which was great in taste! Paneer Crispy:- The best in taste starter! I always go for Aaloo crispy as not a fan of Paneer but this restaurant's Paneer crispy changed my mind! The crunching and the taste was just perfect. Veg Schezwan Gravy:- This was schezwan gravy with all the veggies in it. Love the mushrooms in it. All the vegetables used were very fresh. You must try it if you are schezwan fan! Paneer Manchurian Gravy:- From the soup of this restaurant, I already knew this will be the best, and it was the best! You can try this with Kung Pao Fried Rice, I loved the combination. Kung Pao Fried Rice:- The authenticity of this dish was nicely maintained. Perfectly cooked rice and amazing in taste! Singapore Noodles:- The noodles were amazing in taste. It is the best when you try it with Veg Schezwan Gravy! And for the Desert we had, Honey Noodles with Icecream:- The lightest desert and not too heavy, not too sweet made a happy ending for the meal! The staff and their service are the best in their work. Overall the experience was so good. Had an amazing noon their!

Tons of memories of eating at this restaurant. Amazing food. Times change, they have upgraded their infrastructure and also improved their menu.

Mr. Oscar is really an amazing personality. He is really sweet and cherishing. Loved the hospitality which was offered. The taste and quality of the food was superb. Would love to visit once again and try some new dishes too!

Yesterday me and my friends visited Raja refreshment we enjoy a lot We tried various dishes from menu like veg Manchow soup, Paneer Tikka and chop etc Also we tried various variety in biryani like Chettinad biryani ,Awadhi biryani Specially I recommended awadhi biryani, they use perfect spices in biryani belive me guys Awadhi Biryani is a perfect choice for veg lovers also staff and owner was very humble,they suggested us best dishes from their menu Overall our dine experience was awesome 😍😍

Visited this amazing place named Raja Refreshments. They have recently launched their new chinese menu and it scrumptiously delicious. We tried out their veg combo which is a special menu created by the restaurant. It serves 4 people and is more than enough for them. The combo consisted of: Paneer 65: Paneer cubes sauteed in delicious Schezwan gravy and topped with curry leaves and cumin seeds (tadka) Schezwan Potato wedges: Potato wedges sauteed in Schezwan sauce is the perfect combination to relish on. Zanzanit Noodles: As the name suggest it was spicy and topped with caramelized onions (tastes really good) Oyster Rice: Fried rice made in oyster rice and garnished with cashew nuts a perfect main course. Khimchi salad goes best with the rice. Gobi Manchurian: Gobi Manchurian gravy with rice was a delicous combo. Dates Pancake: Personally my favourite this was the perfect ending to a perfect combo. The pancakes topped with Vanilla ice cream was luscious. Overall had a great time here, the food here is must try and specially their newly launched chinese combo which is just for Rs. 1099 for 4 people which is more than enough and worth every single penny

Water served in glass bottle regular was worst. We have compliant with cashier if any health problem will compliant to the BMC authority.

Best place well known for it's quality as well as taste. The staff is very courteous and hospitable and cater to special requests with a warm smile. Several restaurants have dropped their quality post COVID, however any dish from Raja is testament of the fresh produce they use. Their Indian and chinese is especially delicious.

The restaurant is 6mins walking distance to charni road station. The down floor restaurant give you a complete vibe of old times while the upstairs have a fusion of times. We ordered for veg crispy, veg wonton, cheese garlic naan and paneer mushroom kaju sabji. Veg crsipy was well prepaid even the quantity was great. Veg wonton was fine but was not as per my taste. I loved the main course and would surely ordered it once again.

We ate paneer tikka dry for starter and harabhara kabab, for main course we took dal fry, tandoori roti and dal tadka khichadi for lite dinner. Service is good, food taste is good, quantity as compared to price is little less... Overall the experience was good 😊

I ordered really heavy as per my friend recommendation.<br/>I ordered<br/>1. Paneer cryspy : paneer cryspy actually i liked it in overall meals. Its actually cryspy and taste like same as i want.<br/>2. Harabhara kabab : this dish is quite ok. Taste is good but not as much that like paneer cryspy. But its overall good.<br/>3 . special veg thali : special veg thali is quite massive in size there is lots of things there in this thali. Paneer, chole, green chickpeas bhaji, daal, veg pulao, 2 buttery rotis, papad and in deserts gulab jamun and dahi vada which is i really liked it. This delicious things there in thali with chaas and vanilla cup ice cream is complimentary.<br/>4. Malai rabri : In desert i ordered malai rabri which is quite good. Thick and creamy.

This place is a really good place to visit when it comes for get to gethers. We had a get together of around 20 people and we enjoyed it. Food was serviced really fast and also the quality was amazing. I loved the food. Raja Refreshment is Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Girgaum. It's just opposite of St. Theresa Church and 5 Minutes walking from Charni Road Railway Station. It's one floor Restaurant with great ambience. Seating Arrangement were well arranged with Sofa's and Chairs.so we ordered Paneer Crispy in Starters. It's very Tasty and Juicy. And in Main Course, we had Raja Refreshment's Special Thali by which They had Dal,Panner Mutter, Veg Kolhapuri, Tomato Soup, Papad, Roti, Dahi Vada, Gulab Jamun, Chhas and Pulav. Thali is so Tasty that feels to have these food again and again. Matka Rabdi is also good. Service of these place was awesome.So that why Raja Refreshment is Old is Gold.

As we went to this place we got our table soon the ambience is good it also has a TV setup in the restaurant so you can enjoy live matches on the screen. The service was good the steward was helpful to us and he helped us in selecting some of the dishes from the menu service was fast and quick had a good time. I really like their food. It was a random visit. We were searching for office lunch and randomly find this place. It was great visit. It is a pure veg restaurant. Raja refreshments in mumbai is one of the best place to order some tasty Chinese food. I had ordered veg fried rice and veg hakka noodles which was delivered to me at my place in less than 10 minutes. The packing was very god. The veg hakka nodles was very tasty with slight pungency of garlic in it, the quantity give was very sufficient. The Veg fried rice was perfectly tossed in chilly sauces and was very tasty. I have always heard about the restaurant of mumbai but few days backs back when I was there visiting my aunt house in mumbai, I visited this restaurant. Their we ordered spring rolls as a starters and then veg schewan fried rice and dry chilli paneer. Raja Refreshments is a restaurant existing for past many decades serving the food cravings of guests quite accurately . Whenever we visit here the staff is always cheerful and welcoming . You have to be ready for some loud noise in the restaurant as the occupancy is majorly on 1st floor with tables close to each other . Food quality and taste is commendable . Prices are affordable and you actually pay little for what you are being served that's what u feel . Restaurant has young as well as family crowd. South Indian dishes are highlight as well as the pastas , pizzas and North Indian food . We rate the restaurant 4/5 .

Recently visited this place with family and was amazed by the restaurant and taste of the food was lit 🔥 just loved it and must try again

I wanted to try something new so i tried America pizza uttapam , it was a new concept and the uttapam was so delicious it was little bit crispy also and the food was very light. It was melting in the mouth , the quality of the food was excellent. This place is very famous for South Indian cousines. It is perfect for outings with family. The prices are very low.

I love having dosa and this place is famous for its paneer dishes and also for south Indian cousines , so I tried paneer tikka dosa which I have never tried before. The dosa was so amazing . The stuffing was really very tasty and delicious . All the spices were appropriate and the sambhar was also yummy ,it was served with coconut chutney which was also so smooth and creamy.
