One of the oldest restaurants in Borivali. But worth a try. Pav bhaji is still as good as it was 15 years ago.........

Celebrated Children's day with my grown up kids at this is one of the very old & best restaurant perfect for a family dine out as well as a friendly outing or to discuss a professional deal over a cuppa of tea / coffee. Located in Borivali east , near the Dattapada subway leading to the station. station, they have a huge menu serving variety of Pav Bhaji, Thali, punjabi dishes like Malai Kofta, South indian Masala Dosa, Idli , Vada & the Mumbaiya Masala Pav, Misal, Vada etc all being at a comparitively reaonable cost. They have too many options available here in menu and at very reasonable price. There is a regular as well as an AC seating accomodation available.
We the family of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal comprising of Veg 65, Masla Pav, Poori Bhaji, Haandi Biryani, Tava Pulav , Punjabi Thaali and the amazing deserts. I can grade them as 5/5. for the Food & the Service. Ambiance is fair enough , but where you need to work is your seating . It's too conjusted & we were pretty uncomfortable with the seating arrangements. Request you to have a bit spacious family corner with bigger furnitures to accomodate full size families in the Non AC Area too.
Located right outside Borivali Station's subway, this place has to be one of the best places to grab items like pav bhaji, tawa pulao, etc.
Lassi has to be a thing that one must try over here.
Its a basic indian place where you can get pav bhaji, thali, sandwiches, dosa, idli wada sambhar, misal pav etc.
Their thali is enough for two people.
They have 2-3 types of thali available here.
Pav bhaji is also good here.
Small family restaurant in Borivali east near station. They have too many options available here in menu and at very reasonable price. There normal non AC and with AC two types of seating available here. I will highly recommend you to try their PAV BHAJI and SPECIAL THALI.
Their MISAL PAV is also good to order.

Food was amazing. I have been visiting this place for years now and never disappointed. The food is always at its best. The staff here is very polite and welcoming just like their name.
This is one of the oldest restaurant in Borivali East. Near to Dattapada Phatak. Atleast I know this restaurant from about 35+ years. Taste is good. Pav Bhaji is famous here. Rather all food items are good at taste. Parking can be a issue here, rest is good. They have some innovation in Dosa item.
Located near to platform 7 n 8 on the east side.
Since its very near to my place, we usually order from here, and i have almost tried everything on their menu.
Its a typical udupi restaurant with zero ambiance, pocket-friendly and tasty food. The quantity is very good for the price.
They also have an AC section which has a better ambiance.

Recommendations for Lunch/Dinner:
Everything is Tasty, and the quantity can easily satisfy 3 people. All the gravy/vegetable options would taste similar as they have the same base gravy(either red or green). Don't expect much here , but go/order from here for cheap and tasty food. Do try their dal khichadi or dal tadka if you are a dal lover.

- Vegetables would taste similar coz of the same base gravy.
Now, the building has been demolished and redevelopment is going on. It shall take 3 years to build.

Typical South Indian hotel,, Veg options only. . Reasonable prices. Food isn't spicy or oily. However quantity has reduced in the last year or so. Restaurant space is small with max capacity of about 60 to 75 at a time. Good to order for home delivery.
Amazing pav bhaji and punjabi lunch. Also, dont forget to try tgeir bread butter toast at 4 pm.
