Out of the world naans.... Afghani, Turkish, morroccan, zatar.... All simply amazing. And their steaks are so perfect!.....Their Arabian dishes are great.
Never been so impressed by a restaurant in a long long time,really great food,great service and dips and breads like you’ve never had anywhere else,must must go once to fall in love with Al Shawa -with Simren Mehra Anuj Srivastava
Amazing place !! And it has a very diffrent cuisuine , the food here is to die for . We tried the chicken malai sheekh kebab , the mutton fatteh , aghan naan and the manakish combo along with the garlic paste , and we were also given a complimentary dip which consisted of shredded chicken and pesto! We had never eaten something like this before . I have to say the food blew our mind away and even the quantity of the food is very good at the price point!
Special mention for the Laan - its drink which is similiar to buttermilk , however , it is minty and has a hint of spice to it . I would definitely recommend this place . Do go here if you want to try something new in Mumbai ! Jashen Thakur Anuj Srivastava
Amazing place for food lovers as well as a great place to dine and be pampered with polite people serving unique grill and oven foods. A must visit place to dine a healthy food concept. The Ouzi, the signature dish, baked in bread, a new experience all together. And yes, a great place for a get together with family or friends for around 14 persons at the dartarkhwan sitting area. To start, it was the healthy BBQ Chicken salad, followed by the amazing grill cuisine and then the Ouzi. Enjoyed every bit of our time out there, a different experience altogether. Hats off to the guys out there.....
When you want to indulge in premium Lebanese food, there are a few good restaurants that come to mind. Al Shawa is one of them. Preserving local traditions that transcends from one generation to another, Al Shawa, as well as few others with the same beliefs, keep their names on the international map as a reference for good Lebanese fine dining cuisine.
Zaatar chicken... Ouzi chicken... Bbq chicken Salad is a must try..
An amazing place for good middle east cuisine. But one needs to have patience since the order takes time. But it's worth the wait. What I liked the most about this place is the ambience. It's very relaxing and the staff is friendly and attentive as well.
Yummy food with super service. Had a lovely time. Small and cozy resto. Have tried Cheezy grill chicken, Moroccan chicken, zatar & cheese naan with Hummus, BBQ chicken Salad. How can I forget the Oozi. ❤ Super yummy.
Nice Lebanese food to taste. Specifically their mutton ouzi, manakish and fatoush gives anyone to feel Arabian cuisine. Only ouzi restaurant in India, they claim.

if yes then this is the place you should visit for mouthwatering drooling dishes straight from the Lebanese kitchen, a small place with few tables but there something more special to the small place in the sitting arrangement at the top, a sort of dastarkhan with low rise table so you can spread yourself and eat. that goes for the ambiance now let's get to the food starting off with a wide range of starters and mains
1- Moroccan grilled chicken:- grilled chicken breast marinated in Italian herbs tasting more like a chicken steak.
2-chicken cheezy delight:- chicken breast stuffed with corn, cheese, cream and baked topping with herbs.
3-chicken peri peri:- Two chicken drumstick made in peri peri masala and cooked over low flame
4-garlic and herb shrimp:- not your butter garlic prawns these prawns are made in some green masala and tossed in garlic sauce, one thing which let us down not by the taste but by the freshness of the prawns as well as the expectation of the butter garlic style.
5-chicken malai seekh kabab :- minced chicken kheema made into seekh kababs chargrilled and stuffed with cream and malai.
6- zaatar chicken:- zaatar chicken is the very famous grilled chicken of the Lebanese cuisine having the whole chicken cooked over a grill and marinated with loads of herbs and spices, the taste is similar to the Moroccan grilled chicken it just that this is the entire chicken and that's just breast piece.
7-afghan naan and hummus:- a kind of shawarma bread topped with jeera goes best with hummus( chickpea paste)
8-mutton ouzi :- a mutton pulao made with slow-cooked lamb, nuts, raisins over a bed of rice wrapped up by a covering of bread batter.
to have the bliss of the finest Arabian and Gulf cuisine at a pocket-friendly rate Al-Shawa is the place, great hospitality, good and clean food, great ambiance and yes they even have some other level delicious mocktails.

I had Dinner with some of my colleagues I had the salad it was delicious.and Zatar Chicken too The service was excellent.

Delicious food was really shocked with portion size fantabulous food service was polite and courteous with good recommendation by the server late night good option .Feel royal and eat tasty at an affordable price.
Recommended : Grilled chicken, Spicy lime butter and mutton boti is awesome.....
The food is extremely tasty and of top noch quality. The setting is perfect for a small get together with friends and family, it’s kid friendly too. Great value for money! My friends and i are loyal fans of Al Shawa.

OMG...Wow..wow..WOW !!
MashaAllah..such a refreshing change of taste from the usual masala and oil overloaded food that we are used to having at restaurants.
This place serves amazing charcoal-grilled and fresh oven-baked food. I just happened to glance at this place while i was in Colaba,,and being a die-hard foodie,it was obvious for me to stop over and see what AL-SHAWA is all about.. I was told that they serve Grilled Specialities and it was their first day..
I ordered for their speciality dish MUTTON OUZI...and...boy..oh boy...mildly flavored slow-cooked rice with amazingly flavored super-tender pieces of mutton cooked inside freshly baked bread...it just teleported me straight to the Middle East...HABIBI !!!
With the kind of start that I had, it was but natural for me to try out some of the other stuff that they were serving...
The seating capacity is neat and small, but they have one amazing "DASTARLAWN" seating for a big group...i definitely am coming with my group of friends very soon... You can also call for the food to be delivered to your doorstep.
Now, let me list out the things which I have already tried here (quite a long list for a span of just 10-12 days..heheh😉)
1) MTN KHEEMA PAV - i could feel the pure meat mince...lovely !
2) MTN SEEKH KEBAB - aah...melts in the mouth..smooooth !!
3) MTN BOTI KEBAB - super tender juicy pieces of mutton with the right mix of lip smacking spices and flavors !!
4) CHICKEN PERI PERI - heavenly charcoal-grilled drumsticks...mmmm.. !!
5) MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN - juicy meatballs with Olive at its heart..wonderful !!
6) ZAATAR CHICKEN - whole chicken marinated and charcoal grilled in Arabic herbs & spices...loved it !
7) CHICKEN CHEESY DELIGHT - boneless pieces of charcoal grilled chicken stuffed with cottage & parmesan cheese...very nice !!
8) TURKISH NAAN - fresh oven-baked bread with sesame seeds...fell instantly in love with it !!!
9) FISH TIKKA - the best grilled fish I have ever had !!!
and last but not the least..
10) MUTTON OUZI - I fall short of words for this..this is not just food...this is an "EXPERIENCE", please experience it yourself.. 😍
The condiments that they serve along with all their dishes is as good as the main thing !!
I was told that they also have some amazing sauces that we could order.
If you want quality food made from quality ingredients, and if you want your food to make its way to your belly through your heart, this is the place guys...go for it !!!

This is a new joint. Morning had been there for breakfast. Had Kheema pav. one of the best kheema i had. pure meat, soft and perfectly cooked. Small place so service was also good. They have grill for lunch n dinner. Will try sometime. All the best.
Best food ever had from Mumbai. Would give 10/10 for everything in the restaurant. Excellent food and best service ever experienced. Would recommend to try ''zaatar chiken with dip of mionise served with turkish nan
One of the best place to visit for grilled items. Awesome place to hangout. The new thing to try on is ouzi which is new thing in town comes with a bread stuffed with rice and chicken and Mediterranean Masti which is a chicken ball filled with olive and chees . Amazing food with best quality and affordable price . Wil surely visit next time
