It's a government office. Services have improved over the years. Hope to see more improvement. 10 minutes walk from D N Nagar metro station and Andheri West metro station of newly opened metro corridor 2A.
The staff is well responsive, bit not like what you'll expect in an organization officiated by the government. The process and work done in the RTO is very systematic and mostly done online which makes it very convenient and fast/smooth for both sides of the concerned personnel.
RTO WEST ZONE IS NOW ONLINE. ALL WORKS LIKE LICENSE RENEWAL, NEW LICENSE, LEARNING LICENSE, ROAD TAX, TRANSFER ETC... IS DONE ONLINE.. SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN RUNNING BEHIND THE AGENT'S. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING ONLINE AND TELL YOU TO SUBMIT AT THE WINDOWS..
Yet another decent experience at a govt institution for issuance of my learning license. The online process was smooth, would have helped if next steps would have been mentioned, would have made it whole lot simpler. Process started late but the appointed official sheetal patil did apologize which was very courteous. Test and issuance took no time.
