It's aussom restaurant for taste, it's actually Bar & Restaurant but Family room is there and can taste the food. Chicken Munchow Soup is fab, must try Chicken Dilruba.
More know for Alcohol served here , and even it is very reasonable, they have good seating capacity and sections , even family can visit for good liquor and food , Paneer Pakoda , Chicken crispy , French fries goes well with liquor, even food served is good and proper taste , crowded in evening.
I'm a regular here, and this place is really comfortable. No loud music, and good service. From the menu, Salt n Pepper Mushrooms is my FAVOURITE, and I'm sure I will keep coming back to have it. The dum biryanis are also pretty good.
The Chicken Dilruba here is best dish ever Yummy....Best for sea food as well...Must try this place out...And very friendly staff always smiling

Ah lalit! You remind me of my good old first year days. You were the secondary choice over sunlight I'm afraid, which was right around the corner and is way way more popular than you are, but you always managed to charm us whenever there was no room in sunlight.
Just a 15 minute walk from marine lines station, lalit bar and restaurant is situated near the bustle of chira bazaar. At first, the place would seem to be a little shady, yet it provides you with value for money food and primarily cheap booze. The prices are enjoyed by many students who live around the area who would love to kick off the weekend with some drinks. Although less popular compared to their virals sunlight at the opposite end, lalit provides you with a classy touch of Indian cuisine and Chinese over a drink or two. Lalit has two sections, AC, prices buzz up a little higher and the non AC, where we have even cheaper booze. The ambience is not very interesting although in the AC section it gets a little more enhanced, otherwise if your the kind of person who doesn't care about the look, this place you wouldn't mind, after all we're still talking about cheap booze. Please do not get your date to this place, I doubt you'll earn any action points after bringing her here, but if you'll are a bunch of friends just wanting to hang out and enjoy a good meal, lalit is the place and just for convenience to all you smokers out there, a "pan tapri" is right outside the restaurant, so getting cigarettes ain't that hard.
Lalit has captured some good old memories of me and my friends back in the day. We would always come here. Lalit is a great place to just relax and have some fun.

The first one is average non AC for daily tipplers.
Then comes the central hall with good upholstery and a bar.
The snacks and food is good
The service is also commendable
Overall a food experience if you are in the Central Hall.

Best dishes served here are egg salt & pepper, chicken chili basil, king prawns biryani, chicken drumsticks and chicken hungama, tandoori king prawns, chicken angara kabab, prawns chilly and prawns koliwada. A famous hang out joint for drinks and food for the people working in the area. We did recieve some good service and the Squud chilly as well as the chicken gravy preparations were extremely pleasing.
The AC family room is nice and food quality is also very good.
