This is a very small shop serving relishing street food like chaat and grilled sandwiches. Their grilled sandwiches are a must try.
This has been one of my favourite local places serving grilled sandwiches. This time I had tried the Bhel Puri and Pani Puri. It was good.
I felt the place should be a bit more spacious to accommodate the people.
We had a good time binging on street food here.
I've tried almost all the sandwiches here and i love all of them. If you have a small appetite you can opt for the toast which is actually smaller than the Sandwich in their menu. My personal favourite is the cheese vegetable sandwich. I love how they're so generous with the cheese. Staying in a hostel i swear the sandwiche here was my lifesaver. One sandwich and i was so full!
Also the owner is really sweet :)
So if you're in Matunga do try it!
I was looking to order some sandwiches for lunch when I came upon this outlet and thus ordered a pizza cheese grilled sandwich.
The first thing I noticed was that they did follow my instructions very well. They cut the corners of the bread, and there was no capsicum, as I had mentioned. Coming to the sandwich, it was made to perfection. The three-layer triangular bread had a nice filling of a mixture of vegetables and sauces to make it taste the same as that of pizza toppings.
And according to the names, they had grated tons of cheese on top which perfectly complimented the pizza. The quantity of the pizza was also sufficient for a single person, which was very good at the price of Rs. 92 after discount. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the combination of pizza and sandwich in one fantastic package that they made. Delicious, top-notch quality, and great quantity. Definitely recommended to try !!!
one of the most popular snacks corner near welingkar college
Serves very tasty and yummy sandwiches
Good quality n variety they offers.
Hygienic place.
Fast service.
Nice staff.
They also have chat and pani puri is my favorite here . Overall good.👍
Fan of their paanipuri, always make it a point to have their paanipuri plate if we visit this side. There are no seating arrangements located just opposite to central Matunga railway station.
The golas at Pankaj are a great way to end a meal especially when you have been eating some amazing pani puri or sandwiches from Pankaj's sister outlets next door.
I have known the server at this joint for a very long time. He probably has one of the best attitudes in the restaurant business. He has always been kind and genuinely loves to improve on anything that's related to the food or customer service. I also like to enjoy the occasional conversation with him once I'm done with my meal.
The golas and soda are amazing here. From the preparation itself, it does look like Pankaj uses good quality ice and fresh ingredients. The fresh mint on top of the drinks is an interesting touch and haven't experienced that at other gola shops.
The overall experience at Pankaj always makes me want to come back for more.
After a long time I visited pankaj sandwich which is a small corner located just in front of Matunga station, it is run by a lady and also notorious in the surrounding area. I ordered jumbo cheese grilled (RS. 100) it had three layer of cheese and too heavy for one person to finish. Also had there masala toast(RS. 70) which was also wondering. If you ever visit Matunga do try their sandwich.
This place has another vibe of good food. They believe in quality and that’s why they are here serving us since years. One must try and taste everything they offer. you’ll never be bored of eating the same dish again because every time you’ll enjoy their taste and freshness. Must try this place guys..!!! Mark it as your bucket list ♥️
Best Chaat ever ❤ Chaat Lovers do visit and relish the scrumptious varieties that they provide here. 😋
This sandwich shop has been in existence for many years now. This could easily be one of most expensive sandwiches in Matunga but tastes awesome. I really have enjoyed Sada, Toast and cheese grill sandwiches over the years but recently I have developed a soft corner for Masala toast (rs.60) sandwich. Its chopped veggies in bread and toasted well in butter, served with chutney its just yummy to taste! Also enjoy chatting with the Lady owning the shop who manages everything well keeping things clean.
Highly recommend!
