Hotel Maharani

I recently dined at Hotel Maharani and opted for the Tandoori Chicken and Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice. While the fried rice was a delight, perfectly cooked and flavorful, the Tandoori Chicken fell short of expectations with its less-than-impressive taste. The ambience, however, stood out positively, providing a pleasant atmosphere. It's a must-visit place, especially for its ability to serve hot and delicious food in the cold climate of Munnar. The customer service was commendable, adding to the overall positive experience. Despite the Tandoori Chicken, the restaurant's offerings and ambiance make it worth a visit.

The place has good price for their atmosphere, they provide good hot water and the biriyani was nice there!! It was served with raita and an appalam! The fried rice there tasted good, both normal and schezwan..! The beef roast was kinda rubbery... after telling it , they reduced the price to 100 for that dish...

Great option for food if you are visiting Munnar. We found this place to be slightly better in all the dishes we tried over a 3 day trip to the hill station. The Kerala parotta is a must.

we had chicken fried rice, chicken pepper fry and non veg meals. taste is amazing. i thought tourist place don't have good restaurant but i changed my mind by their taste. chicken fried rice:4/5 taste is good chicken pieces are less in salt which is good . sauce is good. chicken pepper fry: 5/5 it's literally fry . They took a manchoorian chicken and did a deep fry then mingled with pepper masala. This is mind-blowing. I felt like KFC chicken. Non veg meals:3/5 Rice is Sufficient for one adult. Fish curry is good and without bones. rasam is amazing sambar is ok ok. moore kulambu i don't prefer. side dish is amazing water: 5/5 vettiver+ Nannari ver+ Jeeragam Hot water the flavour and smell is amazing.
