Very good restaurant located within Grand Mercure hotel in Mysore. It has good buffet options and the breakfast spread is also quite good. Perfect place to hang out with family and friends. The food tastes great and has very good vegetarian options as well.

One of the best 5 star hotel in Mysore.. the inner ambience is great and staffs are also friendly.. As per the cost it matches 5star ratings I think so.. For an normal person cost may feel expensive.. but loved it.. ❣

La Uppu, the all day dining restaurant at Grand Mercure Mysore has got lot of amazing national and International cuisine varieties. They have very good Karnataka thali with local Mysore flavors. The dessert selection is really good too. Chef Satya Seelan excels in creating amazing dishes like Nalli Nihari in Mysore Style, Papdi Chicken and Prawns too. Would definitely recommend you to visit there for lunch or dinner even if you are not staying at Grand Mercure Mysore.

A vegetarian lunch buffet was laid out for a function at a private residence. All the dishes were very well prepared. Not at all heavy and spicy. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Excellent Aloo Tikkis and salad. Desserts were very good. Would have just liked the pasta a little more well done in the pasta salad and the dal makhani to be a bit thicker. Chef Sandeep and Amit were both very good to talk to. Have promised to visit the restaurant at the hotel soon…. Which will certainly do! All in all , a good well laid out tasty meal.

La Uppu sit at the Mercure hotel in mysore. We had been there for the breakfast buffet. A decent spread , traditional South Indian breakfast with some amount of different kinds of bread was available. It has a nice outdoor seating area . It is worth a visit for breakfast if you are visiting Mysore

Enjoyed alfresco dining with family at La uppu. Ambience is excellent, a small play area to keep kiddies engaged is thoughtful, the spread was decent, taste of North Indian dishes and service could be notched up a bit.
