The ambience is good. It’s a low lit, kinda dark place gives you the relaxed feel. We were traveling so just ordered butter naans, kaju masala, paneer butter masala and dal tadka. The kaju masala was the best-est!!! I’ve never had such a tasty one that I ended up eating just the masala !! Butter naan and the other two curries were okay.
Entered this place for lunch on our way to watch the Dussehra parade...
We decided to have paneer tikka... mutter mushroom masala and butter naan....
Service is slow...
Paneer tikka was soft and succulent with the right spices...
Even the naan and roti were great.....
Food is excellent... Iv cut point only for service being slow in serving food after the order is taken....

Good hotel and well known to all who'd like to eat vegetarian food in Mysore.About the service, there's no reason to complain as Staff and the Captain especially were very helpful.The Food, is OK but not really Good as people did tell me.The restaurant immediately shows its age when you step in(its built somewhere in the late 1970's , and glasses & crockery still remind of that initial purchases of the hotel), and the table linen is not always clean nor washed.It's somewhat a nostalgic place to dine, especially in the evenings but apart from that , Nothing exceptional to tell about.
Had Dinner two days back along with 15 friends, the full special north indian thaali was very tasty and sumptuous, the manager and other staff extended invitation us to try buffet breakfast next day on republic day had an excellent food for just 130 rs. Great value for money. Worth visiting

This is one of my favorite restaurant to have North Indian food. They have group of hotels ,which serves liquor, veg n non veg food , but this restaurant serves onlY veg food. There restaurants are know to serve late night food ( till 11pm at times 11 30 ) which u dont find any other restaurant in Mysore
I have tried thier most for thier cuisines all are really good , ambeince wise it is average with decent sitting arrangements .

Had been here for lunch.. There was no crowd or as such.. The butter kulcha was very good. The other foods were okay. Ambience of the place is peaceful.

Hustle & bustle of the heart of Mysuru, turns cool & calm as soon as you enter this place. Ambiance is tasteful, but not as tasteful as the dishes served! Menu is elaborate, dishes are really yummy but service need more professionalism. I have to deduct a star for not taking good care of washroom.
The food was a bit spicy for me. But the taste was good. We went a bit late there for dinner but they were taking orders at that time also whereas other restaurants had been closed.
I stayed in Mysore for 3 days during Dasara. I tried many nearby restaurants but found Veg Kourt very good. You might feel price is little higher but freshness and taste of food justifies it and of course full marks for the ambience

You can't go wrong with this place. We tried thali last night and breakfast this morning. Great chef/food with variety of options, great customer service, nice ambience. Very well balanced spices - if any. Walking distance to one gate of Mysore Palace , so served our needs. Good luck !
