Purohit restaurant is a pure vegetarian restaurant situated on Mall road.
We ordered pav bhaji and it was great.Overall good experience you can definitely visit here with your family or friends.
Food is good in taste, quality and quantity is fine. The restaurant beside this is the Embassy which seems to have the same kitchen/owner.
It is one of the best options for pure vegetarian food options. As we all friends are vegetarian and prefer to eat only at pure veg restaurants so we found this gem.
We ordered missi roti, pudina parantha, tandoori butter naan with their amazing paneer butter masala and kadhai paneer option. The quantity is really good and enough for 3 people one bowl of subzi.
The taste is amazing and naan is crispy totally. This place is really affordable.
It also offers a great view as its on mall road and just opposite of Naini lake. So enjoy lake view while having lunch or dinner and cool breeze as well.
The staff is really courteous, polite and helpful.
This place also offers jain food and gujarati food as well.
Try once, you won't regret at all.

Had an amazing dinner here the man who served us was Sandeep took care of everything. The taste is super delicious tried rava masala dosa which was best and masala veg uttapam was yummy. The tea is costly but good in taste with flavours of adrak and ilaichi. Must have butter toast if having breakfast.
The food here is so delicious that one might come again and again, like me. For my 3 days visit in Nainital, I had my lunch and dinner at the same place. The service here is very good and the staff is all smiles.
A great place for a wholesome, healthy and hygienic food in nainital... just opp the lake at Malital junction. Good spread of Punjabi thali, Gujrati tbali amd super deluxe with superb combo options ranging from Indian to Chinese. An all in all pure veg joint. Must visit in Nainital for a sumptuous treat.
